No, in DD2 sorcerers have a new spell called Decanter which steals life from target. I presume it can’t be synced either but it does give the caster some more sustainability.
Warrior is tempting to go for first, if they fixed Mystic Knight's animations then I might go with that, but Magic Archer was also the biggest sleeper hit of 2012. My dream class is one that can use a longsword and a magick bow.
theres no way that monk isnt in the game. the footage of unarmed combat was convincing enough for me. no way they put that much work into unarmed shit without having a vocation that punches
I’m not sure what to think with the vocation number at this point. The shirt with the vocations on it is weird because it conflicts with the interview with Itsuno after the first showcase alluding to multiple new vocations that people won’t be expecting, as well as there being footage of npcs equipped with non-duospear polearms. We’ll have to wait and see I guess.
there could unironically be more on the back of the shirt or maybe theres a subset of 9 other vocations and lets be real here, having 18 vocations on a shirt would look moronic. it'll probably be 2 different shirts or something. youre right though, itsuno himself said vocations plural after we already knew 8/9. theres definitely more than 9
For starters Fighter. The only one with 3 weapons and has very strong executes which is a new mechanic. Will definitely have some must-have augmentations for a physical class and probably again that one for more carry capacity. After that Warrior for more physical buffs from augmentations then maybe Thief or back to Fighter.
I can't pretend I'm not disappointed we're not getting an alchemist or monk type class, especially with all concepts they've pulled straight from the cut content in DD. That being said I like the direction they've gone with vocations, seems like their trying to reduce overlap between classes make them feel distinct by giving each a unique weapon. I also kind of like the idea of being a do nothing Arisen waving his incense around while his e-girls kill a dragon.
I’m leaning towards Thief for my first playthrough, then Fighter or Warrior for second, followed by Mystic Spearhand. I’m still holding on to hope there are unrevealed vocations, so I’ll be excited to see if there are more. Either way, I’m looking forward to trying them all while ranking them up to unlock augmentations anyway.
If MK is really gone, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fighter gets extra counter-based utility to make up for it. The latest trailer also seemed to show Thief gets Assassin’s Masterful Kill counter skill, too.
Dunno. Magic Archer or Assassin. But Trickster looks cool too.
A great thing about DD is that all vocations were fun. I didn't dislike a single one of them.
if spell sync is still a thing, that as an old man with 3 e-girl witches
I'm pretty sure that was in the trailer during the Dullahans fight.
Personally I'm going firxMystic Spearhand. I love that spinning weaboo spear fighting.
It’s in, see
Sorcerers have a lifedrain spell now, I wonder how far a party of 4 of them can get.
If you mean Exequy/the instant kill spell, that was in DD1. It wasn't available to spell-sync.

I wonder what that cat-man's penis is like.
Is it big? sheathed or foreskinned? Barbed?
Barbed for sure. Some anon will post the moronic straight barbed wiener comic.
>my arisen
male warrior
>my pawn
male warrior
>every pawn I hire
male warriors
>sausage party
gay
censer of course.

>Mystic Knight
How do we tell him
Warrior and Fighter unless a punching vocation gets revealed.
Mystic spearhand catgirl
Does anyone happen to know if there's still going to be the feat that lets you go pawnless?
Whatever seems fun once I actually play the game for myself. There's no point speculating before then marketer-kun. Buy an ad.
Thief, my first character will be a Thorfinn wannabe just like my first DD1 character
>if Monk leak is real
Monk
>if Monk leak is not real
Thief then some green hybrid or Darth Maul

DD1 says hi
There are 9 vocations in DD2 and monk isn't one of them

I think 18 vocations is more than we should realistically hope for, but 12 wouldn’t be unreasonable.
MONK/PUGILIST or whatever is the equivalent
BROTHER!
Mystic Spearhand looks like it's gonna be the comfort pick.
Melee, Ranged, Physical, Magick, all on top of a mobile AoE weapon with evasion. I can't imagine any situation it isn't gonna be ideal for.
Honestly my usual, Ranged so Archer/Ranger otherwise a new Vocation.
Mutha frickin sorcerer, i be rollin wit da wizards n shiet
Good choice. Sorcerer is definitely my second choice after Mystic Spearhomie
The Black folkmasher. No blacks in MY game!
got a list of the options?
Luv me spears so that class.
Always warrior/fighter first playthrough.
For starters Fighter. The only one with 3 weapons and has very strong executes which is a new mechanic. I don't even know what game that is or what classes it has but cleric and necromancer if possible, otherwise i will never play it.
Unarmed sorcerer because frick you Itsuno for blueballing us on the Monk you gay.

Fighter start. Parn arisen. Deedlit pawn that will alternate between archer and mage. Really wish I could just make her a magick archer.
What are the 9 vocations shown so far?
All of them. All 9+
I'll pick all red vocations, gonna make a knight lady first and foremost.
>a knight lady
bleeting she-goat?
You will retract those words ser!
less brown i guess
>less brown
soulless
Hopefully we're getting a heavy shield/mace type again even if Mystic Knight has been repurposed. Trickster looks interesting too

can I be a stealth archer?
I would like some melee centric build around countering with some utilities. In DD1, it was the MK. Don't know what it will be in DD2 yet,
If MK is really gone, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fighter gets extra counter-based utility to make up for it. The latest trailer also seemed to show Thief gets Assassin’s Masterful Kill counter skill, too.
Spearhand chad reporting in
frick off with your ESG ridden pozzed woke globohomosexual garbage
Did you hit your head and forget that the first game had blacks in as well?
You can permanently kill almost any npc in ddda, I assume the same here.
wienerless freak
>The footage so far shows the player running around and killing monsters
Is this what the game is all about?
Yes. Have you not played the first game?
you need more?
Dunno. Magic Archer or Assassin. But Trickster looks cool too.

Alchemist.
