Shit is so random and bad beyond 10 ping that its unplayable.

2nd to last update fixed this issue so it's in your head or you are getting tripped up by inertia based animation on models. anyway besides the shitty premiere ranking system the game is functionally the same to play as CSGO besides some very minor differences and subtick feels way more consistent than official valve 64 tick.
Source games always have prediction based on movement for players. Online you basically have to mentally add 100ms to your ping no matter what to get a clearer understanding of what is happening.
The "inertia" based movement is a joke, Most Battlefield games have the same and I never had an issue hitting players in them, or at least seeing players stop then shoot. The fact that on your screen it looks like someone has their legs apart in full speed tapping you makes it feel really bad to play when you know you should be stopping to shoot too. Let alone I've started to realize how easy it is to have sub 90 velocity and kill people while moving. Crab-walk shooting with full accuracy is moronic as well.
I blocked all the EU servers and only playing on east coast NA now and I'm finally free of russians. Sure playing with 90 ping sucks but jesus christ the games are actually fun now.
I don't understand why they felt the need to do a full release AND gut CSGO completely from the store and not just release this as a open beta (like they simply did with DotA 2 and CSGO) when that method of release iust werked fine for them in the past or at the very least it's own separate thing, sure it would hurt player counts for a few months to a year but then they would just trickle back into CS2 anyway once its actually finished. Honestly, I've lost all hope for this game. All the people I know who played Source and GO quit with 2 and somehow matchmaking (both Premier or otherwise) has gotten worse since GO. There's more cheaters, everyone that is on voice is either an actual child or sounds like a Reddit caricature, and the changes weren't substantial enough to change things. I just log in on Tuesday every week, get my weekly drops and log out. I'll take a free 50c each week without any work.
