The they tooks steps backwards without fixing any of the issues with the previous games. It also came out at a bad time in the ds's lifecycle. That being said I still really liked it. Just wish they didnt have those goddamn point of no returns
Points of no return, Sveta existing fricks the worldbuilding and is an obvious waifu OC insert, it shits on the characters from the previous games, the game barely does anything different from the other games in terms of gameplay.
I liked that you got to play with Eoleo and that we finally got that chandelier monster from the original trailers, but that's pretty much it.

Was it really wrong place wrong time + nothing really new added?
Over the years Ganker talked about it like it was an absolute blight that killed the series. Then again Dark Dawn threads are fw and far between.
I never played it but enjoyed the original two (I liked the first one more than Lost Age for some reason)
As I said, I still really enjoyed it, but I think I'm im the minority. Points of no returns really do hurt it though. I'm pretty sure you can get locked out of late game bonus dungeons if you miss stuff before them.
>More Air's Rock
Ah geez. Sounds like a bit of a slog, but I might just have to give it a go. Then I can feel that same crushing disappointment ever GS fan feels knowing its the last one we'll ever get... for now

Xenoblade 1 was allowed to release in America, forever burying any chance Golden Sun had to become Nintendo's defacto JRPG adventure series from that point forwward.
>Start with a mysterious black hole >End with a mysterious black hole >Don't even meet any of the old characters along the way
It was just a big disappointment. The gameplay still mostly worked, but are too many holes in that game.
Nothing

Not enough Sveta porn
It wasnt a shining game right from the beginning, losing access to making more shining games was the beginning of the end for them.
The 3ds one suck ass
>3ds one
I wish anon, I wish.
Or the PSP one?
I don't remember which it is without looking it up. It's the one where you play as their kids.
it suck
Bro its a nintendo published series. Last one was on the ds
Thats the one in OP, it was on DS, last in the series
There has never been a Golden Sun game on the 3DS or the PSP.
Too many characters that didn't matter at all.

Remember that Air's Rock dungeon that was huge and tedious to get through? That's most of Dark Dawn's levels.

With how much the Mario Sports games underperformed I wouldn't be surprised if Camelot gets shut down in the near future.

It is still a good game, and it has a great soundtrack.
