did this Quest 2 days or so ago. shit was frustrating af. at one point I just didnt care for the other side quests in the monastery and rushed to the acquisition. took me about 4h to do this shit quest. but at list the rest of the game is great.

That's as far as I got before my SSD died, it felt like there was a good chunk left of the story still but I was dressed in endgame gear.
it's almost near the end. the story ends on a cliffhanger and will never be finished
Its the start of the last arc of the game. There is only like 3 or 4 main quests after the monastery iirc

Yeah, the monastery is a bit of a shitshow. And the combat. And the characters. And the story. And the grindy RPG progression. And the shitty survival.
This game was okay at best. But hopefully they make a sequel or at least a spiritual successor. There's a lot of potential in there.

I'm going to asspull a Medieval Dynasty recommendation out of my ass. It isn't like a side activity, making a village and populating it is the entire point, but the setting and the fact you can ask npcs from other villages on the map to come live/work there and you run around to trade between towns a lot might be enough.
I spent most of my time hunting in it just like KCD too.

This was kino as frick, I unironically larped as a monk for two ingame weeks and several real days.
Glad I learned how to read and transcribe the latin verses in the town with the drunk priest before i did this

The game is peak gameplay when you go on a murdering spree, but the game had too many bugs when I played it
And I couldn't stand loading screens when talking to a fricking NPC
There wasn't a single bug when I played, must be a consoletard problem
I played on PC with a 2080TI
The game ran like shit, too. Especially during the final mission. Also one-shotted the boss with an arrow in the head. Seemed like damage carried over saves/deaths.

on a 2060 super fps stays above 50 in towns
yup. game ran perfectly well on my 2070s in 1440p.
I played it in 2020-2021 and the only bugs I encountered was not being able to go up the stairs every now and then and people spawning in each other twice
The game is more CPU intensive vs GPU so if you have a shit CPU it'll struggle.
I played the game on launch with an i5 2500k and gtx 980, the game stuttered like crazy in towns so I picked up a cheap i7 2600 and the minimum framerates almost doubled, wasn't perfect but way better.
Played it again last year on 5800x/3080 and got a locked 80fps at 4k.
