I heard people saying he's good, but personally I don't have cinqclair as an ID. But he should be better for mindless auto win spam, considering you don't have to manage his sanity.
I'd say he's just as good but I wouldn't say he's better than N clair since both IDs have only one damage type, so just like how N clair is a great unit in any kind of blunt content, Cinqlair is a great unit in any kind of pierce content.
The funny thing about Cinqlair is how he trivializes any boss fight with his high clash values and high speed, and he's even better if the boss has some sort of 1v1 mechanic.
The nicest thing about Cinqlair is indeed his dedicated "I'm better than you" skill, especially since it doesn't ever wear off.
They may have been saying he was better in the context of content where it's difficult to maintain N Sinclair's low SP, in the later floors of the mirror dungeons he tends to shoot up into the positives real fast every time anyone kills anything and that probably makes him worse overall than Cinq just getting to +45 on floor 1 with everyone else and sitting there the whole run.
Depends on the situation. For new content where low sanity is fairly easy to maintain, nclair is better. For any content where sanity will be high cinqlair is a fricking blender.

Restart the game every two hours or so to avoid the common problem. The memory leak mod "fix" sucks ass while also ruining your cosmetic preferences, and it's much easier to just reboot the game after every other ingame day later on

You still get the speed boost, so it's a wash.
Never cared much about movement speed on the agents, though I liked comparing it by grabbing newbies and those I was giving Justice gifts, putting them on the lower elevators of Training or Safety and having them race to the other one to see if speed changed that much.
I just got reminded that Smile is not affected by Justice so it only makes the Agent move faster, except I guess it was kinda buggy and the buffs resetted at arbitrary points, so I wasted a bunch of time too sending my Agent with Smile to kill the Amber Dawns and having some Teth abno breach like 10 times so that it kills him.

I've done a small comparison between the MD clearing speed of Burn teams and the MD clearing speed of Poise teams now that Maid Ryoshu has been released.
All 6 runs have been done avoiding as many fights as possible and quitting after beating the third floor boss.
In the end, using a Burn team is still the fastest way to grind Mirror Dungeons, while using a Poise team is the second-fastest way to grind them. However, the difference is around 1 minute and 20 seconds.
I believe the reason Burn teams are faster is that the Mirror Dungeon clearly favors blunt damage, and unlike poise, Burn can be easily stacked right away and it kills faster without having to go through additional skill animations.
While Burn teams have this natural advantage, Poise teams are very solid since every Poise gift is amazing when upgraded (Endorphin kit + Horseshoe making M.Ryoshu unstoppable) and we have an excellent selection of Poise IDs.
The conclusion? Use whoever you like unless you care about losing a minute or two. Poise teams are definitely way more fun to look at and they may be faster depending on your RNG. They are probably better than burn teams if you prefer to do full MD clears since they snowball way harder.

Nebulizer is a better choice. Pride resonance is very easy to activate and M.Ryoshu benefits a lot from the starting Poise count.

As long as you have glimpse of flames & hellterfly's dream it doesn't matter much since any wave will die in 1 turn. While you won't always have that, it's good to use to 500 starlight bonus to get the Tier 4 gift in your MDH so you can speedrun it with burn.

Yes, you'll get 2.4 BP levels instead of 3 and save more than 10 to 12 minutes. It's very efficient considering it takes around 14 minutes on average to beat the third floor boss.

I enjoy using Rupture teams, but stacking it is unreliable (specially in human fights) and the rupture gifts are not very good. In the end, you won't have the high raw damage from a Poise team and you won't have the high status effect damage from burn (which can be stacked effortlessly).

Not really, unless you have something to replace it with. Wings exist in a delicate ecosystem, and even then they try to avoid relying on each other too much. For instance Monster CEO switched to the mirror/window tech because she didn’t want to rely on N Corp tech since that was expensive

Why are you building Nikolai as singleton? Do you know how insane the light regen and page draw are for charge?
Btw, the thumb break the singleton gimmick of the index. So building Kalo with singleton is a bad idea.
But I'll give you a general rule: 3x 0 cost light regen and at least 2x draw with one of those cards being able to draw 2+ cards.
This should fix your light/draw problems.

Liu association, it's has one of the best cards in sotc; at least in my opinion. I'd also recommend easing on the solo builds. Most of the fights have ways to counter act them (power null, power stacking, or just a big action difference.)
ideally if I were to build a geb floor it would be: Nikolai with a traditional charge deck, Red mist with myo's passive (ideally she would have some smoke to amplify dps,) then take maxim and give him a charge deck as well, afterwards just make one dedicated smoker with any keypage you want and lastly use gloria for her mass attack (build her singleton.)
I'd rather have the Speed III 4 starting light, plus I just didn't like smoke

What about passives? Don't like how a bunch are basically "+1 power, 4 cost" since it limits me to 2 power for 8 cost, is there anything more cost-efficient while still being easy to trigger? Smoke is a pretty much a free damage booster, so it's always welcomed. I'll post a example deck, but if you want an actual challenge then don't click on what I'm gonna post. The top row is light regen, middle row are clashers and damage dealers, and he bottom row are big draw cards.

IIRC. Every thumb page excluding ammunition and lightgen one has discard property. You can test it with Mika's passive. Grit is just something I used. I think? You can use something like electric shocks of Iron Brotherhood. Paralysis is nice. Haulers mostly help during Xiao/Cypher fight.
