He says it as a casual comment. He regrets making him because people keep misunderstanding his role/symbolism/won't shut the frick up about him.
I think a big sticking point for him was how he specifically designed a new Pyramid Head back in like 2006 that had different symbolic weight and could be used for other projects, and then the next game to come out was Homecoming, which just brought back Pyramid Head (and later Book of Memories did the same).
He still likes his art, he just finds everyone else annoying.

most devs would go the Kamiya route if they didn't think it'd make them look bad. Being a dev who's name people know must be miserable since you probably get dms and comments every hour from people asking you about dumb theories or requests for shit.

Basically the scene was inspired by a rape scene in a Lynch movie.
          But it isn't rape.
It was made to look sexual.
          But it isn't sexual.

So he gets mad when people think that the scene made to look sexual inspired by a rape scene in a movie, is sexual.

"Pyramid Head is raping the nurses" has always been a "SH4 is about foreskin" tier example of SHtards overthinking things and being unable to take things as they are.
Frick, TP back in like 2009 pointed out that PH isn't actually doing anything sexual to the nurses, it's all implications and imagery to make the player uncomfortable, because that's what it is.

What is happening in the scene is that Pyramid Head isn't actually doing anything sexual to them. It is all implication and violent imagery shown in a way to appear sexual.

                >This is entirely due to youtubers and shoddy wiki admins
                >Get rightly annoyed the 2 millionth time it is asked

Pyramidhead was raping the mannequins because it symbolizes James' repressed sexual urges. It's the same reason he starts shooting Pyramidhead. Why do you believe it was meant to be vague sexual implications?

See, this is the type of person who gets everything they know about SH from youtubers and wiki pages.

The game never says why James kills Mary (spoilers btw), but it heavily implies after she got sick and needed constant care and the relationship stopped being "fun," he felt trapped and sexually frustrated.
This is why Maria exists, a loose version of Mary who PH seemingly kills multiple times.
This is why you constantly see PH sexually assaulting monsters who moan and then die.
The imagery makes people uncomfortable... because of what he's doing.
It's not a jump scare. You don't put this shit in for a goof.

Shoving them into the sink and down the drain to protect James or something.

Pyramid Head loves protecting people. Especially people he's unaware of hiding in a closet.

This is Konami meddling, I think. They tell people to put Pyramid Head in the game because he's an iconic character and they know less about SH than this poster.

Redditors love the idea of the 4th wall. Fictional and in "this" reality, how they would put it.
James looking at us is not only eerie for them but strenghtens their believe that he "knows" there is something wrong, that he is somewhat sentient.
Thats the point theyre trying to make, James looking at us, we, the redditors, looking behind us. Metaphorically.

Concidering that more than 70% of americans are on medicine or drugs, I think they believe they have massive disassociation disorder.

The first time I played it I assumed he meant the cult saw the monsters as angels, like Dahlia seeing God and paradise in that nightmare.

Saying Heather was killing normal people just raises more questions, and saying Vincent was just messing with Heather feels like it lacks substance.

        Anonymous

There doesn't have to be much to the moment. It's just a quick and momentarily unnerving way of showing Vincent is not to be trusted. At no point does the game itself deny the reality of Heather's spooks.
