well, to be fair, most people have probably only watched the movie in their childhood.
I use to have all those classic movies as a kid and watched them all the time, but even if you put a gun to my head and told me to explain the plot of the aristocats I'd just stare at you blankly.
No, anon, I never misremenber things. In my universe there were 99 puppies, but in this universe things are different because of the madela effect XDDDD.
>the rest were stolen from other Dalmatians and adopted at the end.
Aren't they poor as frick?
How do they afford feeding 101 dalmations?
It's gonna cost a fortune.

IIRC the Canon is that the PS1 game that got made of the movie is like the biggest game of all time in universe and his percentage of sales is enough to pay for the upkeep.
>How do they afford feeding 101 dalmations?
while Pongo and Perdita are saving the puppies, Roger (their owner) releases a catchy song about how much Cruella sucks. the song goes viral and presumably makes him a lot of money.
>it’s just something people often misremember and think it’s 99.
thats not misremembering its because they assume you're asking how many puppies they have not how many they gave birth too, presumption saves computation time in the brain. but doing gay trick questions like this without stating it like "at the start of the movie, how many" just wastes peoples time while you act smart. its the same thing as dumb frick math questions like "stacy went to the dock at 12, amy arrived an hour later, when did dave arrive?" ie x and y have nothing to do with z and z is arbitrary.
It’s not a trick question you moron. It says outright “how many did they give birth to?” Not anything more vague like “how many did they have?” There’s no ambiguity to the phrasing of the question. The only people who would get “tricked” are ones who aren’t paying any attention.
Please put more effort into your posts in the future. No responses will be read.
its worded badly and math questions worded badly are trick questions and you are a homosexual for wording math questions badly. >No responses will be read.
better not reply to me either then.
Fun completely irrelevant fact the original work by Dodie smith was written in the house next to mine, and the bridge in this scene is meant to be ballingdon bridge in sudbury. The book is based in fricking Sudbury which is hilarious to me as its a pretty dull market town.
Oh we got Gainsborough too, but he didn't paint anything good until he left. Not surprising.
[...]
It’s not a trick question, it’s just something people often misremember and think it’s 99.
They only had 15 puppies, the rest were stolen from other Dalmatians and adopted at the end.
What a shitty situation to own a dalmation and they get stolen to be adopted into a lump sum family. There's dog owners that never got their puppies back.
>I don't see why people would fake being a fan of a niche game
wouldn't call it niche, but a chick pretended to like Dark Souls 1 when Dark Souls 3 came out. I was chatting to my professor about it and she pipped up and I knew she was bull shitting, but I wasn't gonna go full neckbeard fake gamur gurl about it, so I just said >Oh that's cool, who was your favorite boss? >Oh teehee I'm basic, I really liked the second boss >Nice, good choice
she also told me before how she loved playing Zelda on her PS1
In this case a 'false dreamer' actually contains the right answer if you follow the logic through (or spend the time to put more lore together). He's awake but dreaming.
Not really trivia but in the same vein of weeding out people who haven't played the game, I really enjoyed how Hollow Knight reveals to the player that you aren't the Hollow Knight. Reading this fountain is such a memorable moment in the game.
Shit, forgot image, but I'll gush a little more. The entire atmosphere of City of Tears the first time you arrive is stellar, it's the point where I knew the game would be a favorite of mine. Later on when you start going for the true ending and you get the playable cutscene of how the vessels were made is another standout section. Frick I love this game and I hate that it's become popular for this shithole to berate it just to be contrarian.

In Owl Boy the titular character isn’t the protagonist Otus, but another owl named Solus.
Huh, I didn't know that! That's a nice similarity to what I posted. Are there any similar concepts in other games, like where you aren't the protagonist or the namesake? I picked up Owl Boy close to launch but I never played it. It any good?
At great risk, I will mention Undertale where you think you're what you named but that ended up being a different chara cter and you were actually playing as someone else the entire time that everyone avoided name calling until the very end because gotcha.
>Are there any similar concepts in other games, like where you aren't the protagonist or the namesake?
Huge spoiler, but a Gamecube game called Baten Kaitos
I feel you bruv. Love this game too and take solace that everyone that breaks their keyboards screaming about how bad HK is didn't even make it to hornet 1. At best they were filtered by watcher knights.
I'm on my second 100% playthough (first was on PC before the circus DLC came out, second is the full thing on Playstation) and I've got a love-hate relationship with it. I enjoy exploring its world and generally like its aesthetic but goddamn if every other mechanic sucks so much shit. On their own, things like having no i-frames from environmental hazards, hazards sending you to the last 'checkpoint', checkpoints being inconsistent, platforms being tiny with no ledge forgiveness, etc. aren't terrible but when they all come together to send you back across the map for a pointless corpse run it really makes me want to put down the game for good.
no, the problem with you hollow frickers is you can't understand it's okay to love a shitty game, it still doesn't change a shitty game being a shitty game though. you refuse to acknowledge this every single time, that it's not this 10/10 masterpiece, and just can't fathom it. You die on the hill of pretentious and your ego cannot let it go. There's a lot of flaws with HK, and it is no where near the score you think it will ever be. it's also a fricking dark souls clone whether you fricking like it or not. "but the guy who made it said tha-" i just said out loud that i made the song Moon River. does it make it true?
Jesus fricking christ, Anon, I never said it was a perfect game. Ganker is not one person. You've invented a scenario to be mad at and added absolutely nothing to the conversation. All you've done is prove my point about how people seethe when anybody mentions liking this game. Get off the fricking board for a while, it's rotting your brain.
I hate the NCR and I think that the Khans whining about Bitter Springs is the gayest shot ever. Is the literal same speech that he whinges about the NCR killing them, Papa Khan will proudly tell you how they used to harass the NCR caravans and citizens.
If it was supposed to be some terrible thing the NCR did put there to give more greyness to the faction choice it fails pretty hard
Yeah, they're literal raiders. They're proud of that fact.
They've mellowed out, so I don't think one should just genocide them, but it's ridiculous that the game thinks anyone would sympathize with them.
I mean the whole op there was done after they were fricking with the NCR in the Mojave. And from what Bitter Root said they were still massive buttholes.
To be a war crime you probably need other nations who both hold friendly relations with you, and have agreed with you on what the definition of a war crime is.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the NCR doesn't really have any neighbours (aside the legion) big enough to really have a relationship beyond trade.
Hell, we didn't really have any codification what a war crime was until the 20th century, and before then it really depended on the terms and nature of each individual conflict and the laws of each country what would happen. Even right now the Hague has only managed to try a couple of dozen people for aforementioned war crimes, half of them in the 1940s, most of the rest in the 90s and 10s.
So my answer is: I sincerely fricking doubt anyone knows what a "war crime" even is, but was it bad? Yeah.
I don't need to, you can tell who the posers are just by what they proclaim to enjoy.
There's complete entry-level shit, and then there's the shit that normalgays THINK is "niche" but is just slightly less popular than entry-level shit (i.e. "Yeah bro, I love JRPGs, I've played Persona 5 and Xenoblade 2")
That can't be right, Dante btfos of Virgil on 3 and he later loses to Mundus, whom Dante kills
You can't just say Virgil ia stronger because unlike Dante he had sex at least once
The powerlevels dont make sense or at least 5 breaks them.
Dante is stronger than Vergil in 3 because he actually tried during the final battle
Then for various reasons he is still stronger in 1.
Then in 5, as essentially a walking corpse Vergil decides to divide himself in 2 and that somehow creates a demon that is stronger than what Dante has ever been, but then Nero becomes stronger than Dante(or at least lasts longer) because he has some man made fake arms, then Dante uses Sparda which used to be a fricking big deal back then and is still weaker, then he fuses Rebellion and Sparda(which I reiterate, was kind of a big fricking deal) and is finally Vergil's equal by the end of the game.
I would have to check again how long did Urizen feed from the Qliphoth before he kicked Dante's ass, but it still seems bullshit to me.
>for various reasons he is still stronger in 1
That's silly. Vergil in 1 is a puppet of Mundus and it's extremely easy to explain that he's not as strong as he would be if he wasn't brainwashed/under servitude. >Dante is stronger than Vergil in 3 because he actually tried during the final battle
He doesn't dominate him or anything like that. Dante and Vergil are approximately equal by the end of 3 with Dante coming out on top this time but not definitively enough to say that in a rematch it would be the same result.
>Dante is stronger than Vergil in 3 because he actually tried during the final battle
Did he really lose to Dante, though? They seem to be more or less matched until the final clash, which Vergil misses on purpose
Gray Voice and Raven Beak. This is probably still a little too deep in the lore even for people who have played a few Metroid games, especially since Raven Beak was only just revealed in Dread. Does Dread mention Gray Voice by name? I don't remember.
Can't disagree there, Anon. I like how the manga shows Ridley being a chaotic evil, absolutely irredeemable motherfricker of a villain. I think I'm gonna reread it, it's been a few years.
i care about metroid because of game design, not lore, story or characters, because I like videoGAMES.
I have no want for any castlevania or dark souls medium besides video games either.
Correct, as far as I know, I actually havent played SoJ yet so im counting Wright vs Layton, but im gonna be really surprised if I play the game her adult self appears and she somehow doesnt end up accused at some point
>im gonna be really surprised if I play the game her adult self appears and she somehow doesnt end up accused at some point She gets accused of two separate murders.
You should play Spirit of Justice. It's the best game since the original trilogy.
This one is surprisingly not as well known as I thought it was. Or my friends are al morons
How many ways can you choose what direction to swing you sword in OOT?
I might be misinterpreting your question, but I know you can choose to do vertical, horizontal, diagonal, or thrusting attacks depending on your inputs. You can probably also count to spin attack as separate.
3, right?
Left to right, right to left and downwards
That would be my fault for not being entirely clear with the question but you are right. >you mash b for horizontal >walk and mash b vertical >hold z and mash for vertical >hold walk and z for stab >hold z and left/right to swing in a specific direction multiple times >z and a for jump attack >hold b for a charged spin >rotate the stick quickly for a quick spin >hold shield then hit b for crouch stabs
I personally use the directional horizontal swings in the dark link fight so we clash swords multiple times until he messes up the input and gets hit like a real sword fight
Based. The first time we clashed like that in sequence blew my fricking mind as a kid. I freaked out even more when he jumps on your sword if you try to thrust at him. That fight really holds up to this day if you don't abuse the hammer.
I know this is SOH and all, but this is a good enough showcase I feel. Also I purposely stare down the fricker until he turns more solid for the full fight. Still really fun.
Also sorry for the shitty compression it would seem i have forgot how to webm and need to relearn shit.
The real answer is that it was both on the moon and in Nevada at DCOM, existing in a superposition, until the occupants left the rhizome9 complex and "opened the box" in effect, collapsing the wave function. This angle was never explored since the story was rewritten for ZTD
this makes sense because i remember there being a file on schrodinger's box but i didn't see where it was relevant to the story, unless they were comparing it to the prisoner's dilemma
Is that actually what the original story was supposed to be? If so then I am mad, because that was pretty much exactly what I'd guessed.
Man I didn't hate ZTD that much when I played it a few months back, but the more I think about it the more terrible it is.
Clussy She's moronic for killing him but her dad was even more so for ignoring her efforts to follow in his footsteps, well intentions or not. She got done dirty.
>What actually caused the great destruction in Armored Core 1? >which ending is canon in ACFA? >Which mission can you find the KARASAWA in AC2? >which is the only AC game on the PS2 that doesn't have an arena?
>What actually caused the great destruction in Armored Core 1?
Corporations, the same thing that causes everything in AC, every time. AC is nearly a time loop of "Corporations frick up everything, time passes until everyone forgets what happened, corporations frick up everything..."
I'm not sure if there's a fully canon answer but I always figured its either corporations of the past, the human plus project, Martians, or all of the above.
I think theres technically two canon endings to ACFA, its basically any of them which can lead into V
Stop the surface weapon, a bastard of a mission to do without some rockets to handle the lock on getting fricky with the trios of bits at the back side of the weapons
AC2AA as long as you don't count the missions set in arenas, but at that point Nexus doesn't really have one until the postgame, and last ravens is entirely VR so its a little up for debate
its flamingo isn't it? since the flamingo pokemon isn't a flamingo its based on a plastic cut out of a flamingos u put in ur garden rather than an actual flamingo
This one might not be easily googled-
Who is the only character to appear in every single episode of all three Mario cartoons? (Super Show, 3, and World)
Isn't there one where Luigi rescues the Princess because Mario isn't around? Where he tells Yoshi about the time he did that. That would make the answer either him or Princess Toadstool.
you are close, although I am counting remakes and the fates as a whole as one entry in this case, i'm also counting 3H's routes as one entry and am not counting the mobile game or the musou's.
-1 and shadow dragon has gharnef I guess, not a dragon (final boss is).
-2 and gaiden have the wizard, not a dragon iirc (final boss is)
-3 and new mystery has hardin, not a dragon (final boss is)
-4 has fire man, not a dragon (final boss has a dragon tome?)
-5 I haven't played
-6 has zephiel, not a dragon (final boss is)
-7 I can't remember (final boss is)
-8 has lyon, not a dragon (final boss is)
-9 has ashnard, kind of
-10 bald dragon isn't exactly evil, but is the closest I can remember (final boss isn't)
-awakening has validar, not a dragon (final boss is)
-fates I guess for both birthright and conquest this applies, not for revelations
-three houses I don't think has evil dragons (I think only one route has a dragon as final boss)
-engage I'd say counts for both an evil dragon as main villain and a dragon final boss
I count about 4, which ones did you have in mind?
those are pretty good guesses, what I would consider would be dragon main villains would be FE1'S Medeus (since its his war and Gharnef is just serving under him), FE6's Jahn (who's the mastermind behind Zephiel's actions), I consider Grima the main villain of Awakening since he gets involved from chapter 6 and commands Validar, Fates's overall main villain is Akanos so he counts, and yeah Engage's main dude is a dragon.
So yeah like I'm thinking its 5, like you fight a lot of dragons in Fire Emblem but most of the time its an Evil Wizard or a literal Demon, if it wasn't for the Nami Komoru set of games there wouldn't be atleast 3 of them here. its funny since from an outsider perspective you'd think its every other game.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought you were talking about games where the main villain of the story is an evil dragon and that same character is not the final boss, so for example grima couldn't count because it's both the main villain and the final boss.
>FE6's Jahn (who's the mastermind behind Zephiel's actions)
Had to check because I didn't even remember that one, but it's a good catch.
>and yeah Engage's main dude is a dragon.
Was thinking of his daugher as the main villain, but in reality you are right, it should only be serpent man.
>its funny since from an outsider perspective you'd think its every other game
At least the final boss being a dragon seems to be in every other game. I remember being surprised when in the fate games I didn't fight a dragon for the final boss until revelations.
This is one reason people like Ashnard so much, he's the main villain, the final boss, and he's just a dude who is a huge butthole. He uses all that ancient magic shit to enslave a few dragons, but he's ultimately just making himself mightier.
-1 and shadow dragon has gharnef I guess, not a dragon (final boss is).
-2 and gaiden have the wizard, not a dragon iirc (final boss is)
-3 and new mystery has hardin, not a dragon (final boss is)

I've only played the games from sacred stones and up, so I don't know about most of the earlier games
pretty sure the first game has one, considering what I've heard in the later games since they really like pointing out that marth's sword is an evil dragon slayer.
From the remake of 2 I just remember an evil sorcerer wanted to do a ritual, which isn't directly an evil dragon's fault (unless he's being controlled by it, which I'm not sure). I never did beat this game.
SS has a regular, not dragon demon I'm pretty sure who's influencing a human.
For some reason I think to myself that Ashnard is supposed to be part dragon. isn't he soren's dad or something, who is part dragon? Although I guess his mother might have been the dragon and ashnard is human, I'm not sure. He is riding a dragon I guess, but I don't think that dragon is evil.
RD was just a regular god who is not a dragon. I never actually finished this game either though I have gotten to part 4. I guess you could say the villain is whoever was trying to set up the god resurrecting but I don't remember who that was.
Awakening is an evil dragon being resurrecting for the final villain, though before that there's two evil ruler villains who aren't dragons and might not have been too related to it. I can't quite remember how all the storylines are related.
Fates has an evil dragon puppet master who you only fight in revelations but I'd still call him the villain in all of the routes even if you don't know it.
Three houses has a good? dragon as a final boss but she's not really the main villain, unless you choose the route that specifically is against her. I'm pretty sure the cult would count as the overall main villains and they aren't dragons.
Engage is an evil dragon
I guess the answer really depends on if you count people trying to resurrect an evil dragon without being influenced by the dragon as the dragon's fault or not (I would. Frick dragons), and how you count route splits.
let's see
main bad guy of 1 is Medeus, an evil dragon
then Doma, an evil dragon
then medeus again
then manfroy, who is not an evil dragon, so that's 1
then binding blade, who while the final boss IS a dragon, the main antagonist is Nergal who is not a dragon, so 2
then sacred stones, and formortiis looks like a giant demon dragon, but isn't, so that's 3
then path of radiance/radiant dawn, evil mastermind was sephiran/ashera, neither are dragons, that's 4
Awakening was Grima, evil dragon
Fates was that moron dragon, not worth saying his name
Three houses is Thales, not a dragon
Didn't play Engage
if you played Engage you would've had the correct number of 5, but you would've been off on a few, the games where the evil dragon is the actual mastermind of the plot is 1, 6, 13, 14, and 16. still good guess
Some Marvel 3 questions because I love that game so much: >Name at least 5 characters on the Wanted poster in the Days of Future Past stage >What character was nerfed only a week after launch after a large fan outcry? >What was the developer intent behind Wolverine's Berzerker Rage/"Swiss Cheese" move being added between vanilla 3 and Ultimate? >Which character's DLC alt is not a reference but an original outfit unique to MvC3? >What character was said to be over 90% complete with a theme song composed but ultimately cut, and why? >What combo of Heroes & Heralds cards could make you functionally immortal? >Name all characters that are slowly juggled by Dormammu's Flame Carpet instead of quickly popped up off the floor. >What DLC costume was removed from sale and is not in the PS4/Bone/PC port, and why?
>What was the developer intent behind Wolverine's Berzerker Rage/"Swiss Cheese" move being added between vanilla 3 and Ultimate?
swiss cheese was to punish mashing, right?
Yeah, they made it bad on purpose because Logan's light normals were insanely good for hitconfirming if you just mashed, but it also accidentally enabled an infinite with Spencer assist until it got patched out.
>>What character was said to be over 90% complete with a theme song composed but ultimately cut, and why?
Human Torch because he slowed the Xbox's framerate to a crawl.
Wrong, he got canned way earlier than 90% done because of the framerate issues. You can get points if you tell me why they were trying to add Human Torch and who replaced him.
>What DLC costume was removed from sale and is not in the PS4/Bone/PC port, and why?
that magneto costume that looks like the king of spain, removed because it looks like the king of spain
The first one’s easy, Cable, Mega Man, Ruby Heart, Gambit, and Hayato.
Last one I remember being Magneto, because it made him look extremely similar to a political figure in Spain, which was super controversial.
Yup for Magneto (and the poster, that's the easy mode question). Ironically it was based on a specific cover from House of M that ALSO got Spain angry because it literally traced a portrait of the guy, Capcom must've not gotten the memo.
>>What character was said to be over 90% complete with a theme song composed but ultimately cut, and why?
Human Torch because he slowed the Xbox's framerate to a crawl.
>What DLC costume was removed from sale and is not in the PS4/Bone/PC port, and why?
that magneto costume that looks like the king of spain, removed because it looks like the king of spain
>>Name at least 5 characters on the Wanted poster in the Days of Future Past stage
Mega Man is the only one I know specifically because he's not Dead or Captured. The rest I'd just guess MvC2 characters in Cable / Cyclops / Spiral / Psylocke.
>>What character was nerfed only a week after launch after a large fan outcry?
My man Sentinel had more health than Thor, classic
>>What was the developer intent behind Wolverine's Berzerker Rage/"Swiss Cheese" move being added between vanilla 3 and Ultimate?
Feels obvious to say to avoid mashing out moves so I'm probably wrong
>>What character was said to be over 90% complete with a theme song composed but ultimately cut, and why?
Not 100% again probably wrong but wasn't it Human Torch? Rendering his body ate up too much RAM, but I don't remember his theme being made. Only other character I really remember being in any form of development is Doc Ock.
character's DLC alt is not a reference but an original outfit unique to MvC3? >>What combo of Heroes & Heralds cards could make you functionally immortal? >>Name all characters that are slowly juggled by Dormammu's Flame Carpet instead of quickly popped up off the floor.
No clue
>>What DLC costume was removed from sale and is not in the PS4/Bone/PC port, and why?
Magneto, I think it was an outfit used by a dictator or some IRL person who they didn't want referenced. Feel like this is just the right level of question if you're really into the game you'd notice he didn't have one and question it.
>Mega Man is the only one I know specifically because he's not Dead or Captured. The rest I'd just guess MvC2 characters in Cable / Cyclops / Spiral / Psylocke.
No Spiral surprisingly, but they have Marrow. Points for remembering Rock is safe. >My man Sentinel had more health than Thor, classic
Yeah, kneejerk reactions to Sent based on 2's meta. He would've still been mid-tier with 1.3 Million. >Feels obvious to say to avoid mashing out moves so I'm probably wrong
It was actually to stop mashing, explicitly. >Not 100% again probably wrong but wasn't it Human Torch? Rendering his body ate up too much RAM, but I don't remember his theme being made. Only other character I really remember being in any form of development is Doc Ock.
Doc Ock is who I was thinking of, he was the one referenced as being over 90% complete; his arms created visual glitches that they couldn't fix. Torch was cut earlier in dev because he killed the framerate on PS3 just by existing, and what's more is that it was going to be John Hammond the android Torch from World War 2 because of a mandate about the F4 being a package deal. If Hammond managed to stay at 60FPS on PS3 we would've never gotten Super Skrull. >No clue
Viper's alt was designed by the lead Breath of Fire artist because she had no notable alts.
Luke Cage + Daken let you reduce damage taken and recover it quickly.
Joe, Rocket, Arthur, Ammy, & Wolverine. >Magneto, I think it was an outfit used by a dictator or some IRL person who they didn't want referenced. Feel like this is just the right level of question if you're really into the game you'd notice he didn't have one and question it.
Yup, I mentioned it up above. A shame since it was a slick model and they never replaced it with a different alt. There's a timeline where we got the helmetless look with the big M on the front, or fricking Xorn.
character's DLC alt is not a reference but an original outfit unique to MvC3?
vipers dlc outfit because the devs didn't actually care about her, just her cool moveset
Persona 5: Why does Igor say "Welcome to My Velvet Room"?
Dark Souls: What's the highest point in the game?
Skyrim: Where's the Steed Stone located?
Final Fantasy VII: How many furries are in the main playable group?
SMTV: who is the hardest boss?
>Final Fantasy VII: How many furries are in the main playable group?
8, they're all furries except Vincent. Reeve is the only one who is open about it, Vincent's is just an unfortunate affliction, and Red XIII is actually just a beast, but also secretly a furry.
I'll just give it away since there's no reason for anyone to play it - who was the original helpful god dragon in King's Field?
Guyra/Gaeia/Dragon of the Forest, all acceptable because lmao KF TLs. Seath/Sieth didn't show up until the sequel.
Highest point in the jail starts at Level 2 of the archives themselves. Absolute highest point is probably that stupid mini-library where you get wiener-crystallized by Seath.
Not that it matters, just Archives should be fine.
>Why does Igor say "Welcome to My Velvet Room"?
because it's not actually Igor >What's the highest point in the game?
getting to anor londo, finding the home of the gods, defeating his riders, and receiving the lord vessel >Where's the Steed Stone located?
near solitude >How many furries are in the main playable group?
Hmm
Red XIII
Vincent
And idk if I'd count Cait Sith since it's a robot, but it's furry enough, so 2 to 3 depending on your definitely of furry >who is the hardest boss?
Demi Fiend
What happens to the five playable characters in the True Ending of Odin Sphere after you unlock all the variant endings for each character. And for the last question, who is Alice?
Oh shit, let me see if I can even remember this off the dome
Mercedes dies and her Psypher becomes the new world tree but it's implied her and Ingram get to be together in spirit
The bunny prince and Velvet are both pooka until they get the coin from the book that lets them make the wish
Oswald and the Valkyrie are the adam/eve of the new world, essentially
Alice is the girl you play as but she's also a descendant of one of those couples, but I forget which one. I assume Oswald/Valkyrie?
I've beaten this shit like three times, I should know this but I can't even recall main character's names so frick me I guess

And actually Mercedes Psypher breaks after killing Volkan because her true name is actually Yggdrasil the World Tree, hence why her body becomes that same World Tree.
I still remember the X-Play review having some joke about eating a bunch of cheese while griping up the item management.
For a game that I think is pleasant enough to merit a single playthrough, it's one that friends of mine tend to land curious about and I go "Yeah, sure, I'm down for going through that again." The first time, it was just an excuse to revisit the remaster but after that I was coming back to it again because, out of everything, people just tend to gravitate towards it for some reason.
To be fair the Remaster makes several character actually usable, and while you can play the original version, why would you when Oswald was a trashfire of a character and element types were barely existent.
Oh yeah, I definitely enjoyed the remaster far more than the original. Velvet and Mercedes were a lot more fun to play. I think they also removed some encounters? I definitely recall having to stockpile potions for a last-chapter encounter with Cornelius so I could handle the PS2-lag-inducing triple dragon wizard fight thing.
Emilia's no good with machines!
Yeah, it's a real shame, especially when you get such neat unique mechs with Red and T260-G.
As for Nusakan, Riki and Blue can recruit him in the original release and, I believe Asellus and Fuse can both get him thanks to restored content in the remaster.
He's incredibly useful--not just because he comes with the Death spell, which can make certain content a cakewalk, but also because his 'Mystic' equipment he can't take off is a shirt instead of a Mail, meaning you can minmax his gear and he can still use the shirt as an infinite healing item. The only other mystic that's arguably as strong a free recruit is Mysthartim.
so, this is a two pronged question. The original intention was to see if they could recapture lightning in the bottle with Gold/Silver, and were going to base the rest of the series off of that, but the true planned end was probably gen 4 since it was posed to be the Ultimate Pokemon Game and that's why it was a literal universe ending threat.
I think every Pokemon game was made with the idea that it could be the last up until maybe gen 6?
It's a trick question, pokemon was never going to end that's just made up shit by someone who misinterpreted Ishihara wanting to leave after GS ended but being roped into working at TPC

Morrowind imprinted itself so hard into my teenage brain when it came back that I can remember where so fricking many of the unique magic items are.
Visually picture the area and where it is in the world.
Same here for me but with Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion when I played them as a kid. I remember where so many secret items and how to solve difficult rooms just from memory all these years later.
In the first Kingdom Hearts, you can jump through many hoops to get the best weapon, or you can just talk to a certain character to get the second-best weapon which is almost as good. Which character is it?
>one boss
Hah
Maneaters can fly off the ledges
Biorr can solo Penetrator for you
I'm sure there's some trick to Maiden Astrea
Old Monk can off himself if its another player that was summoned
Willing to bet there is some other bullshit to hose the rest, that game's busted.
Maiden Astraea kills herself if you kill Garl Vinland and Garl Vinland will "die" if you kill Astraea and leave the world. Though since it's the final boss the bullshit of his Black Phantom spawning and sitting on top of his equipment drop is still notorious bullshit if you were bad at parrying.
if you kill that stupid b***hes boy toy in the valley of defilement she'll call you a bad person and an hero and say some shit like "here it is. Your damned precious demons soul" and die.
I have not played Demon's Souls
I couldn't name an episode but the company that made the tech that allowed the DKC cartoon to be made was French and they ran a ton of extra mocapped programming exclusively in France with the DKC assets.
Zergling and Hydralisk, like other anom said
Then there's the marine, and I think an Orc firebat? Or a Tauren? ETC is confusing me cuz I think he has a StarCraft outfit in Hots
Yeah Zergling, Hydralisk, Marine, and Orc Firebat cover it. There's one of them you can get in a mission as a secret.
Zergling and Hydralisk, like other anom said

Close enough, yeah. In smash it says it is from Color TV-Game 15, but you'd have been right if you said Color TV-Game 6 too. These things were the very first consoles that Nintendo every made. I've got both in my collection
In Super Mario World, all shellless Koopas can kick shells. Blue shellless Koopas kick every shell to they come across to try and hit Mario. In what situation do the other shellless Koopas kick a shell?
Although the class names for a robot character have always been HUcast/RAcast/etc, the actual in-canon trend of referring to robots as "Casts" didn't start until Phantasy Star Universe. In PSO episodes 1 and 2 they were canonically only ever called "Androids", and in episode 3 this became "Humanoids" after they acquired more civil rights.
Trick question, there are no timelines, it is all bullshit that Nintendo dreamed up after the fact and falls completely apart under close examination. The only directly related Zelda games are 1 and 2, and BotW and it's DLC.
And Zelda 1/2 and ALTTP, since it was intended as a far prequel and clearly shows that.
And OOT and ALTTP, since OOT is yet another prequel.
And WW and OOT, since WW is a sequel to the timeline not covered in the ending of OOT...
... Hang on a second. It looks to me like there's a lot more connections than you thought.
>ALTTP, since it was intended as a far prequel and clearly shows that.
how does it show it? legitimately curious.
the Japanese title is Holy Triforce of the Gods. I always thought the idea of it being a prequel to 1 & 2 happened later (partially because of the English title)
>kingdom of hyrule is flourishing >backstory includes ganon's rise to power >triforce has three pieces
Looking only at the first couple of games, it's hard to nail down whether it's a far future sequel or a prequel, but the general lack of ruins and the state of Hyrule make me lean toward prequel.
Given that Zelda 2 laid the groundwork for "oh, there's multiple Zeldas", you could argue that this Ganon is a different one, but occam's razor applies in my opinion- there's no proof it's a different Ganon, so it should be considered the same one.
But seriously- the entirety of mainline Zelda, until SS, is defined relative the events of a game we already saw. 1 to 2, ALTTP as a prequel to both, OOT as a prequel to that with two "worlds" in its ending, WW exploring one world, TP exploring another. The "split" introduced in OOT was a nice way to build on it with a sequel while not invalidating ALTTP, though the downfall timeline specifically is definitely retroactive horseshit they don't have excuse for.
Anyway, long story short: The main Zelda games were all related to one another for a long time before the official timeline was made.
Trying to deny any direct connection and imply it was all just loose retconned references like BOTW is something you only see done by people who want to imply BOTW is the gold standard of the Zelda series.
That's a long answer though, basically the whole plot
Asking people what does this ring do.
Most of the time even people who think they are hot shit about TES lore get it completely wrong.
Unlimited werewolf transformations. There was a mod that added obligatory werewolf turning in full moons and the ring was the only thing that stopped it
That's how it is in gameplay, but i'm talking about the artifact in lore. You're very close though.
It's really fricking simple yet i keep seeing people keep misinterpreting it since 2011.
>but i'm talking about the artifact in lore.
It lets you control werewolf transformations, which means transforming even if you aren't one and not having bloodlust in Bloodmoon.
I have only ever played 1 castlevania game
Mathias kidnapped Leon's finace and gave her to a vampire, who leon saved but she was turning into a monster, and it's her soul in his whip that made the vampire killer and then Mathias stole the vampires essence with the help of Death and became dracula, and Leon swore revenge on mathias and it's the origin of the series
I don't care if my lack of hyper-specific knowledge about a game is somehow damaging to your frail ego, I'm still going to play the games if I feel like it.
A couple mixed bag from TF2/source engine Jank
What're the units of measurement used in the source engine called?
What is the conversion ratio from those units to feet?
Where does medics regeneration come from?
How much HP does a level 3 sentry have?
What % multiplier is a mini-crit?
Almost, the medic gets his regen from his primary, funnily enough. And yes minicrits grant no damage falloff but keep ramp-up at 135%. Otherwise correct
>selection for societal sanity >spoiler
The first one is the correct answer but the spoiler shows you actually played the game and didn't just look it up real quick.
Huh, I suppose that's a good way to catch people
Got one for you for the first game.
What's different about Jaeger the third time you see him?
Oh I've got a fricked one too if you played the highest difficulty: What's does liquid add to his combos?
Correct. I’d say technically six if you count Naminè as an extension of Kairi, and since she’s inside of him during Re:Mind.
Just 1, Kairi. Roxas Xion and Ven aren't people.
Although depending on your definition you could make an argument for Riku too since Sora was gay enough to stick Riku's Keyblade inside of himself.
Ventus isn’t a Nobody. Roxas and Xion you can be semanticy with since they’re part of him, but Roxas was/is literally in him before ejecting himself in 3, and Xion sort of counts. Riku also dives into Sora in DDD in order to make Ventus frick off.
>Ventus isn’t a Nobody
iirc he's not a proper person either though. Wasn't he just the good half of the original Ventus or something like that, that was the whole point of Vanitus existing wasn't it?
Vanitus is an ancient darkness thingamjig, but if I remember correctly, Ventus himself is just from a different time(?) I need to brush up on my gacha game shit honestly, but I do remember that Vanitus is an ancient dark being.
Just 1, Kairi. Roxas Xion and Ven aren't people.

This wasn't even a thing until that flash video, and that flash video was done under the idea that it would be so much hotter if she had real big breasts.
Mechanically, nothing, other than somehow being a worse ally than enemy. Pain in the ass.
But she has a thing for maid costumes or something otherwise.

I remember you can find Asagi, but I think it's if you beat a world eater early on in the main route or something, I don't remember finding anyone in the alternate route but knowing how these things go it's probably Laharl
Donkey Kong, Link, Yoshi, Captain Falcon, Bowser, Sheik/Zelda, Marth, Lucina (sorta), Chrom, Olimar, Rosalina(?), Robin (sorta), Shulk, Ken, Corrin (sorta), Bayonetta (I think?), Pyra/Mythra, Kazuya
Did I get them all?
Donkey Kong is a little iffy. DK Jr. isn't necessarily his son, but Cranky Kong's son. Meaning that depending on the canon (sometimes Cranky is DK's father, sometimes grandfather) DK Jr. is either DK or DK's father.
Pac-Man has kids in some of his incarnations, Belmonts presumably.
I did a list for this a while back. I'd definitely put some of these in different spots now, and some were just me asking a friend or two if they ever have a kid at some point and taking their word, so critique from anyone who knows better than me is very much welcome.
A shitty, overrated game made by gays with a shitty overrated setting only homosexuals like and force everyone to play. If I remember correctly it's a trick question that you can answer whatever you want.
Haha you got layton'd, you can present anything to end the episode, being right is optional
After his disbarrment, how many years did Phoenix Wright take to get his badge back?
Layton question again. The answer is eight. Seven years of being disbarred, then an extra one because he got it back in the middle of Dual Destinies' timeline. He didn't have his badge in 5-2.

Correct, less layton than the other one though since the DLC case opens with the answer to this question.
No more questions because thread is dying, goodbye
In Battle for Bikini Bottom, assuming you beat the game with the bare minimum amount of golden spatulas needed to fight the final boss, how many spatulas will you have when the credits roll?
I was answering for how many you need to enter, didn't even read the second part of the question about how many you exit with. But yeah, you get two from the boss.
5,000G. You can avoid all the money and treasure in the game, but you can't avoid taking the final boss's crown, which has the same value as a single coin.
In Pokemon HGSS, above Goldenrod City you can get a pokemon from the guard at the gate. What pokemon is it, what is the name of the pokemon and what is it holding?
not exactly what you're asking but if they can get the "speed of light (incorrect value from the 90s)" answer correct in alex kidd goes to the arcade.
or actually get passed the town where you need to play 200 times or something, I never did solve that. the game was extremely japanese.
for my actual favorite game i'd ask "who is velka" and if they laugh I know they know. lore is convoluted
Subject X was locked in the dungeons until she disappeared when Luxu released her, which Xehanort blamed on Ansem the Wise.
Kairi was living a normal life until the Heartless attacked and Xehanort cast her into space, thinking she had the power to lead him to a key bearer.
Also, Subject X was said to look about 15 years old back when Kairi was only 4.
Lastly, Subject X remembered nothing except having 4 friends, a key, and the words "May my heart be my guiding key," which would make her someone from the mobile games, not Kairi.
oh right, thats what finally snapped no heart ain't it, I forgot. maybe don't put the most important part of the entire plot in A FRICKING PHONE GAME nomura.
nomoron....
and I will never forgive the exam board for being so low IQ they didn't even understand what I meant by "assuming d6" in their roll of a die question. imagine not knowing what fricking d6 means in context of dice, thats sub 40 iq.
d isn't an SI unit, and if your country or exam board operates using SI-recognized units then that's kind of the point.
Then again, why the frick isn't d a SI unit? Its not being used except for daltons and daltons are not a SI unit. Also if your exam question was about dice they're morons and should have worked it out, so frick anon I don't know, depends on the situation.
>d isn't an SI unit,
well you can't ask a DnD player what a die will roll and not say how many sides it has, I don't give a frick if you have to do it in gygaxs and invent it but you have to state how many sides else if I assume its NOT a d6 you cannot say im wrong later if the math checks out
No, Xion is "No. i". Subject X is a girl Xehanort was experimenting on when he was Ansem the Wise's apprentice.
oof so that phone game related stuff, and I have no idea.
Okay, lemme try.
In The World Ends With You, there is a battle that you can win without pressing a single button, doing any movement with stylus, or relying on your AI partner. What exactly do you need to do to win it?
Here's a really fricking obscure one if you played Elite: Dangerous at all.

His life is crazy drama, with things getting so insane and out of hand it trumps most fiction writers. You literally cannot make up the shit that has happened to him and what he's done.
You're probably right anon, I completely agree with you. I only know what I know because I lurk this board and a buddy of mine loves telling me about his life, but I never personally took an interest in it despite being on this website for over 10 years. Your life will not get better after reading about him, I promise you.
>Why the frick do people care about Chris Chan?
Because a train crash in slow motion is fascinating.
>the less I know, the better off I am
Perhaps. I personally look at people like Chris Chan as negative inspiration, meaning people who inspire me to be better so that I’ll never be anything like them. WingsOfRedemption is another example.
Here's a good one. What are the 3 Chocobo references in the Kingdom Hearts series? As in 3 different types of reference. I've yet to meet someone who got all 3.

I thought it stood for Mystery
The M is an upside down W, because he is the evil Wario
Not vidya related, but in 101 Dalmatians, how many puppies did Pongo and Perdita give birth to?
This sounds like a Layton trick question. I'm not answering it
It’s not a trick question, it’s just something people often misremember and think it’s 99.
They only had 15 puppies, the rest were stolen from other Dalmatians and adopted at the end.
well, to be fair, most people have probably only watched the movie in their childhood.
I use to have all those classic movies as a kid and watched them all the time, but even if you put a gun to my head and told me to explain the plot of the aristocats I'd just stare at you blankly.
>aristocats
Some old b***h tries to leave her wealth to her cats, so her butler tries to kill them. They escape and try to make it home.
Also featuring Napoleon and Lafayette, two of the funniest comic relief characters in any Disney movie.
No, anon, I never misremenber things. In my universe there were 99 puppies, but in this universe things are different because of the madela effect XDDDD.
Then the movie wouldn't be called 101 Dalmatians dipshit.
are you moronic?
no, but i am regarded. thank you for asking
99 puppies + 2 parents = 101
And how many of the 99 puppies are adopted?
84
>the rest were stolen from other Dalmatians and adopted at the end.
Aren't they poor as frick?
How do they afford feeding 101 dalmations?
It's gonna cost a fortune.
The husband is a song writer and it’s implied he finally writes a hit at the end after he’s inspired by the puppies.
IIRC the Canon is that the PS1 game that got made of the movie is like the biggest game of all time in universe and his percentage of sales is enough to pay for the upkeep.
Plus in a few years you could sell the kids.
>How do they afford feeding 101 dalmations?
while Pongo and Perdita are saving the puppies, Roger (their owner) releases a catchy song about how much Cruella sucks. the song goes viral and presumably makes him a lot of money.
Imagine having to clean all that shit everyday, no sum of money can make up for it
>it’s just something people often misremember and think it’s 99.
thats not misremembering its because they assume you're asking how many puppies they have not how many they gave birth too, presumption saves computation time in the brain. but doing gay trick questions like this without stating it like "at the start of the movie, how many" just wastes peoples time while you act smart. its the same thing as dumb frick math questions like "stacy went to the dock at 12, amy arrived an hour later, when did dave arrive?" ie x and y have nothing to do with z and z is arbitrary.
99?

Think it was just the one wasn’t it? The rest were kidnapped by cruella and adopted after the fact
15, I watched it recently
Yep
It was like 16, wasn't it?
What a shitty situation to own a dalmation and they get stolen to be adopted into a lump sum family. There's dog owners that never got their puppies back.
I have a feeling that is what was going to happen in a sequel
The sequel is unironically good and charming.
12 i think
i remember it being a realy big batch
15, the other dogs where found later.

I don't see why people would fake being a fan of a niche game
I also seriously doubt AA6 is your favourite game
>I don't see why people would fake being a fan of a niche game
Being a poser for nerd cred isn't a new thing.
>I don't see why people would fake being a fan of a niche game
wouldn't call it niche, but a chick pretended to like Dark Souls 1 when Dark Souls 3 came out. I was chatting to my professor about it and she pipped up and I knew she was bull shitting, but I wasn't gonna go full neckbeard fake gamur gurl about it, so I just said
>Oh that's cool, who was your favorite boss?
>Oh teehee I'm basic, I really liked the second boss
>Nice, good choice
she also told me before how she loved playing Zelda on her PS1
People who think Dagoth Ur was somehow in the right and not a schizo lovecraftian aberration
Alright, so was Dagoth Ur asleep or not, and was he dreaming or not?
He's the "false dreamer", aka false god. Vivec likens godhood to dreaming so I'd say no. That's what I remember at least
In this case a 'false dreamer' actually contains the right answer if you follow the logic through (or spend the time to put more lore together). He's awake but dreaming.
I really need to finish the main plot again. There's so much that's dumped on you by the end it boggled my mind. Vivec's conversation alone is a trip.
It's the last great lore addition to the TES series. Still fun to revisit.
Morrowind is about Nerevar helping his friend Voryn Dagoth find peace. Everything else is inconsequential.
It was an accident, but I don't think that excuse would make a judge very happy.
I don’t think the judge would care since he doesn’t have jurisdiction in that area and the Khans are a menace.
Dagoth Ur was in the right, Imperial City Pizza is a fricking casserole. That shit sucks

Sasuga, remake-only player.
I’d say so. It’s been a while since I played it. It has a nice story with a lot more death than I was expecting.
In Dragon Quest 5 you aren't the chosen hero, your son is.
Legend of zelda you are link and zeld am princess
Metroid you are not metroid thats a creature and the main charactur is seamus o'ryan
"but the guy who made it said tha-" i just said out loud that i made the song Moon River. does it make it true?
go get laid dude
Jesus fricking christ, Anon, I never said it was a perfect game. Ganker is not one person. You've invented a scenario to be mad at and added absolutely nothing to the conversation. All you've done is prove my point about how people seethe when anybody mentions liking this game. Get off the fricking board for a while, it's rotting your brain.
The real name of privess Peach
I ask if they think Bitter Springs was a war crime.
Of course not. There's no wartime convention for the NCR to have violated in order to have committed a war crime.
Not to mention the Khans have been doing this shit for a over a century at this point.
Yeah.

There's complete entry-level shit, and then there's the shit that normalgays THINK is "niche" but is just slightly less popular than entry-level shit (i.e. "Yeah bro, I love JRPGs, I've played Persona 5 and Xenoblade 2")
Alright, I DO love JRPG's and I like the Persona series.
Which JRPG would I need to play to out myself as a real fan?
The N stands for nitro
Vergil is actually canonically stronger than Dante and Nero combined
Well, I haven't played 5 so I couldn't say, but maybe Dante's finally getting on the years
>then Nero becomes stronger than Dante(or at least lasts longer) because he has some man made fake arms
ok dead weight
>for various reasons he is still stronger in 1
That's silly.
They seem to be more or less matched until the final clash, which Vergil misses on purpose
>which Vergil misses on purpose
does he? what's the reasoning behind this?
Vergil ate the macguffin fruit, and all Dante needed to do was stab himself. again
See if you can get this without google:
Which game protagonist’s true name is Theodore Bronev?
My Little Pony: Friendship is Martyrdom.
Holy shit I just clocked it, it’s professor Layton and the azran legacy, beat it last week
Nice one, anon.
>Bronev
Love that series.
Hershel Layton
What does Snowman Scream after being set on-fire in Time-Splitter 2?
“I’m melting?”
Or “What a world?”
Just a guess.
you got it. Followed by that funny, loud-ass, out of place grunt when he dies.
If both the games and manga were taken as canon, what are the names of the two Chozo whose DNA were infused with Samus’s?
Gray Voice and Raven Beak. This is probably still a little too deep in the lore even for people who have played a few Metroid games, especially since Raven Beak was only just revealed in Dread. Does Dread mention Gray Voice by name? I don't remember.
Real fans should read the manga. They’re both badass, too.
Can't disagree there, Anon. I like how the manga shows Ridley being a chaotic evil, absolutely irredeemable motherfricker of a villain. I think I'm gonna reread it, it's been a few years.
Ridley is the odd man out of Nintendo villains
i care about metroid because of game design, not lore, story or characters, because I like videoGAMES.
I have no want for any castlevania or dark souls medium besides video games either.
But i'll read the manga anyway
>Im not a fan of the game just a fan of the gameplay
That is the textbook definition of a casual. But yes read the manga.
A fan could 100% every single Metroid game and not know the name of Samus' parents.
Should’ve read the manga.
There's like 3 different mangas and only the Benimaru Itoh one isn't a waste of time.
What does Dahlia Boat actually mean
How many times has Maya been accused of murder?
Three times?
Her sister, that guy who was killed by the nurse and I’m pretty sure Dahlia got her falsely accused.
Four times, happened again in SoJ.
Someone framed the perfect Christmas cake Maya? Tragic.
(I haven’t played it yet)
she keeps getting away with it
4 times
Correct, as far as I know, I actually havent played SoJ yet so im counting Wright vs Layton, but im gonna be really surprised if I play the game her adult self appears and she somehow doesnt end up accused at some point
>im gonna be really surprised if I play the game her adult self appears and she somehow doesnt end up accused at some point
She gets accused of two separate murders.
You should play Spirit of Justice. It's the best game since the original trilogy.
TGAA is better
I remember 4. 1-2, 2-2, 3-5, and that Khura'in bullshit.
That would be my fault for not being entirely clear with the question but you are right.
>you mash b for horizontal
>walk and mash b vertical
>hold z and mash for vertical
>hold walk and z for stab
>hold z and left/right to swing in a specific direction multiple times
>z and a for jump attack
>hold b for a charged spin
>rotate the stick quickly for a quick spin
>hold shield then hit b for crouch stabs
3, right?
Left to right, right to left and downwards
>Overhead/Rising
>Swipe left/right
>Stab
>Crouch stab (Angle-able)
>3 levels of spin
>Jump slash
Metroid is a girl
Where is the facility in which Virtue’s Last Reward takes place located?
I wanna say Nevada desert, but that might be one of the other zero escapes
Nope
rhizome 9
space
Eh, close enough. It’s on the moon.
ah that's right. I knew it wasn't on earth but It's been awhile. Misremembered it as a space station or something.
Well I knew that but didn't want to spoil it.
Who was the basis for Dr. Eggman’s original design, as seen in the original concept art for him?
Dr. Klim’s research facility on the moon, because the Earth got fricked over by Radical-6 and Free the Soul.
Teddy Roosevelt in his pajamas
Right on the nose. It’s super ironic how Eggman wound up being the complete opposite of Teddy in terms of their opinions on nature preservation.
Yeah, I do think the concept is cool though, do you think Sega would sue if someone used it?
actually teddy roosevelt was a master taxidermist so thats kinda like eggman turning small animals into robots
>Teddy wants to create nature so he can destroy it
>Eggman wants to destroy nature so he can create it
I guess? Not an exact mirror reflection but I see it
The real answer is that it was both on the moon and in Nevada at DCOM, existing in a superposition, until the occupants left the rhizome9 complex and "opened the box" in effect, collapsing the wave function.
The moon.
I remember it because i hated that twist and everything about VLR ending sequence so fricking much.
How people claim ZTD is the worst is beyond me. It's way more fun and entertaining than VLR shit.
Clussy thread?
fake boobs
Clussy
She's moronic for killing him but her dad was even more so for ignoring her efforts to follow in his footsteps, well intentions or not.
How do you skip the ridiculously overpriced ferry
Is that fricking magi-nation?
it is indeed
Did you know that Doki Doki Panic was really called Mario 2 in Japan?
Which of these animal species hasn’t been made into a Pokémon yet?
A) Toucan
B) Platypus
C) Koala Bear
D) Flamingo
Bonus points if you can name the three Pokémon that are based on these species.
Platypus
Toucannon
Kamola? I remember the name was really simple but I don't remember the exact spelling
Flamigo
Correct
Komala is the Koala Bear.
>Platypus
Can't name em.
Trick question.
>Toucannon
>Psyduck
>Komala
>Spritzee
psyduck's just a duck
its flamingo isn't it? since the flamingo pokemon isn't a flamingo its based on a plastic cut out of a flamingos u put in ur garden rather than an actual flamingo
This one might not be easily googled-
Who is the only character to appear in every single episode of all three Mario cartoons? (Super Show, 3, and World)
This one just screams trick question, I’m gonna go with Luigi.
Correct, Mario was in every episode except 1, you get extra credit if you know which one
I'm betting this is professor layton bullshit answer where it's Mama Luigi because Mario only appears in a flashback.
Isn't there one where Luigi rescues the Princess because Mario isn't around? Where he tells Yoshi about the time he did that. That would make the answer either him or Princess Toadstool.
What are the two heaviest known Pokémon, and what is the obvious difference between them?
Celesteela and your mom
Celesteela doesn't smell like cum 24/7
Correct. Your mom does indeed smell like cum 24/7.
Calyrex is one of the only Pokemon who can communicate with humans in English, how does he do it?
very carefully
That's a Meowth tho
Possessing a black dude and talking through him.
Correct
He possesses humans and speaks through them according to Pokemon Masters EX.
"how many games in Fire Emblem where the main villain, NOT the final boss, is actually an evil dragon" less then you expect, but more then you think.
Five?
Duma from Gaiden and Echoes, Garon in Birthright, Anankos in Rev and Grima in Awakening I haven't played neither 3H or Engage
you are close, although I am counting remakes and the fates as a whole as one entry in this case, i'm also counting 3H's routes as one entry and am not counting the mobile game or the musou's.
those are pretty good guesses, what I would consider would be dragon main villains would be FE1'S Medeus (since its his war and Gharnef is just serving under him), FE6's Jahn (who's the mastermind behind Zephiel's actions), I consider Grima the main villain of Awakening since he gets involved from chapter 6 and commands Validar, Fates's overall main villain is Akanos so he counts, and yeah Engage's main dude is a dragon.
I remember being surprised when in the fate games I didn't fight a dragon for the final boss until revelations.
to be fair i was pretty vague, like you tend to fight dragons but they are only the main driving force of the plot like a third of the time.
This is one reason people like Ashnard so much, he's the main villain, the final boss, and he's just a dude who is a huge butthole. He uses all that ancient magic shit to enslave a few dragons, but he's ultimately just making himself mightier.
>Grima in Awakening
Wasn't Validar the main villain? Grima was just the final boss iirc.
>FE9 spoiler
yeah its his mom who's dragon, dad's human
let's see
main bad guy of 1 is Medeus, an evil dragon
then Doma, an evil dragon
then medeus again
then manfroy, who is not an evil dragon, so that's 1
then binding blade, who while the final boss IS a dragon, the main antagonist is Nergal who is not a dragon, so 2
then sacred stones, and formortiis looks like a giant demon dragon, but isn't, so that's 3
then path of radiance/radiant dawn, evil mastermind was sephiran/ashera, neither are dragons, that's 4
Awakening was Grima, evil dragon
Fates was that moron dragon, not worth saying his name
Three houses is Thales, not a dragon
Didn't play Engage
So, four?
if you played Engage you would've had the correct number of 5, but you would've been off on a few, the games where the evil dragon is the actual mastermind of the plot is 1, 6, 13, 14, and 16. still good guess
How many grass monkeys/apes are there in Pokémon?
Six.
>Pansage
>Simisage
>Grookey
>Thwackey
>Rillaboom
>Zarude
Correct
7?
Some Marvel 3 questions because I love that game so much:
>Name at least 5 characters on the Wanted poster in the Days of Future Past stage
>What character was nerfed only a week after launch after a large fan outcry?
Wrong, he got canned way earlier than 90% done because of the framerate issues. You can get points if you tell me why they were trying to add Human Torch and who replaced him.
The first one’s easy, Cable, Mega Man, Ruby Heart, Gambit, and Hayato.
Last one I remember being Magneto, because it made him look extremely similar to a political figure in Spain, which was super controversial.
Nah it's 3
This would be in the middle of conversation with someone so they couldn't do that
Nice
No one has been able to answer them all together!
>Nah it's 3
Nope it's 8. You're confirmed to be a fake fan so everyone can ignore you now.
>Skyrim: Where's the Steed Stone located?
You can easily google that one
P5 is because it's not Igor.
>Dark Souls: What's the highest point in the game?
Where you fight Seath the first time at the top of the archives?
its definitely the dukes archives, might be the jail though?
I'll just give it away since there's no reason for anyone to play it - who was the original helpful god dragon in King's Field?
Guyra/Gaeia/Dragon of the Forest, all acceptable because lmao KF TLs. Seath/Sieth didn't show up until the sequel.
Highest point in the jail starts at Level 2 of the archives themselves. Absolute highest point is probably that stupid mini-library where you get wiener-crystallized by Seath.
Not that it matters, just Archives should be fine.
>Why does Igor say "Welcome to My Velvet Room"?
because it's not actually Igor
>What's the highest point in the game?
getting to anor londo, finding the home of the gods, defeating his riders, and receiving the lord vessel
>Where's the Steed Stone located?
near solitude
>How many furries are in the main playable group?
Hmm
Red XIII
Vincent
And idk if I'd count Cait Sith since it's a robot, but it's furry enough, so 2 to 3 depending on your definitely of furry
>who is the hardest boss?
Demi Fiend
I accept my crown
Which Atelier game has the primary love interest of the main girl be a man almost 30 years older than her?
All of them
It's me
Who is the question?

The correct answer is : NOE
WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUHUHUHOHHOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Could you make me a sandwhich?
Gwendolyn is the Valkyrie's name. And correct.
This is a hard question because finding something that is so obviously fake most people assume is rare.
I guess it bothers me when Zelda fans don't know Epona is a girl.
Which characters can recruit Doctor Nusakan?
I don't think I've ever attempted to recruit him. I always like getting the robots and it's sad you can't get them in Emilia nor Asellus' scenarios.
What was the last pokemon game supposed to be?
Gold and Silver.
Wrong.
It's a trick question, pokemon was never going to end that's just made up shit by someone who misinterpreted Ishihara wanting to leave after GS ended but being roped into working at TPC
Pokemon X.
Not the gen 6 one.
so, this is a two pronged question.
Morrowind imprinted itself so hard into my teenage brain when it came back that I can remember where so fricking many of the unique magic items are.
Visually picture the area and where it is in the world.
Same here for me but with Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion when I played them as a kid. I remember where so many secret items and how to solve difficult rooms just from memory all these years later.
Who is the main character you were trying to rescue in Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and what was the rare drop of the real final boss on Ultimate?
In the first Kingdom Hearts, you can jump through many hoops to get the best weapon, or you can just talk to a certain character to get the second-best weapon which is almost as good. Which character is it?
Even if your answer is not Divine Rose it is now. So Belle.
Correct
belle or whatever beast's wife is called
In (most branches that I am aware of) Space Station 13, what's the default frequency for the Common/General radio channel?
FM? (Frequency Modulation) no wait its AM.
Not the modulation, but the numeral frequency
Oh you meant the actual station lmfao.
145.9
Correct! I'm sure there's some server that changes it, but that's what it is in every one that I can remember.
Where do you find Meryl’s radio frequency in the original Metal Gear Solid?
It's the back of the box. I haven't even played it and i know that.
Never played MGS but saw Metal Gear Awesome so I know it's on the back of the case or maybe the instruction manual.
Back of the box art
this is Doki Doki Panic levels of vidya knowledge
I've never played a MGS game
in demon's souls there is one boss you can kill without ever directly attacking it, which is it?
The Old King?
Maiden Astraea if you kill Garl Vinland first or viceversa?
Feels like a trick question.
The girl in the swamp if you kill her knight, she commits suicide.
>one boss
Annoying b***h of the Swamp, just talking to her after parry-cheesing her simp. Infinitely easier than rolling back and forth to slap her ass.
if you kill that stupid b***hes boy toy in the valley of defilement she'll call you a bad person and an hero and say some shit like "here it is. Your damned precious demons soul" and die.
I have not played Demon's Souls
Dragon God
"What's the best build in Nioh?"

It's not even a contest, unfortunately.

I couldn't name an episode but the company that made the tech that allowed the DKC cartoon to be made was French and they ran a ton of extra mocapped programming exclusively in France with the DKC assets.
Yep, thats it
Ask about ladders vs step-ladders.
Frick you Maya, it is extremely important to be distinct on what kind of ladder you're using.
I can't think of any good ones. Frick it. Where's the hidden deck in Rio in THPS3?
In Warcraft III, what units may be found as easter eggs from Starcraft? Which ones are only found in the map editor?
zergling, hydralisk uhhh I forgot what else
Yeah Zergling, Hydralisk, Marine, and Orc Firebat cover it. There's one of them you can get in a mission as a secret.
Zergling and Hydralisk, like other anom said
Then there's the marine, and I think an Orc firebat? Or a Tauren? ETC is confusing me cuz I think he has a StarCraft outfit in Hots
What game does this assist trophy come from?
Color TV Game, something like that. Nintendo got in on the Pong clones back in the day before/during the age of Game & Watch.
If I wanted to give a trivia, it would probably be a trick question like:
Which timeline did the Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time happen?
I always thought the idea of it being a prequel to 1 & 2 happened later (partially because of the English title)
>kingdom of hyrule is flourishing
>backstory includes ganon's rise to power
>triforce has three pieces
Ask any castlevania dracula apologist if he knows what Mathias did to Leon Belmont and his fiancee. Always works.
That's a long answer though, basically the whole plot
Unlimited werewolf transformations. There was a mod that added obligatory werewolf turning in full moons and the ring was the only thing that stopped it
That's how it is in gameplay, but i'm talking about the artifact in lore. You're very close though.
It's really fricking simple yet i keep seeing people keep misinterpreting it since 2011.
>but i'm talking about the artifact in lore.
It lets you control werewolf transformations, which means transforming even if you aren't one and not having bloodlust in Bloodmoon.
Pretty sure it requires you to be a werewolf in the first place for the ring to work, even if it's cursed.
I just ask them to summarize literally any storyline.
Get's 'em every time
Asking people what does this ring do.
Most of the time even people who think they are hot shit about TES lore get it completely wrong.
I don't care if my lack of hyper-specific knowledge about a game is somehow damaging to your frail ego, I'm still going to play the games if I feel like it.
Her breasts are balloons, btw
In Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, what affliction does Mario contract, and what did he eat to cause it?
Ha, you got me.
I remember jack shit about SSS, so i had to look it up. Well played.
man i just played this and i cant remember
i think its a poison mushroom that he wins from the arcade but its like bean fever or something like that
Close enough.
Yep, Bean Fever, but he ate an Invincishroom from the arcade, a combination between a star and a 1-up mushroom.
Who decided to agree to Enochs wish to be the next test subject for the cogito experiment?
I feel like this is a trap, but I'll fall for it: Carmen, but Enoch himself wanted to be useful.
It's been a few years since I germinated the seed anon, so if Daniel cut in for a line to go "nah bro we got this" you got me.
>Carmen, but Enoch himself wanted to be useful.
Wrong.
What does **** mean?
Black person
4 letters, anon
translation mistake, it should be 6
this, in Japanese it's にっがー
I don’t know if this is a joke or not because I’ve never played it. Does it end up being “kill”?
it's left up to interpretation since 9S does love 2B but he also hates her for constantly killing him and not saying anything
What did Hera mean when he said, "Knights counter Pikes"?
In Secret of Mana, Why did the Frost Giant steal a Mana Seed? also bonus, which Mana Seed did he steal?
Here's one that even I forget routinely.
What's Magus/Janus' cat's name?
it was something like Alfador wasn't it?
Yup, Alfador it is.
What's the (nigh-useless) quest-provided synthesis item you get to resolve the character quest of the woman who bears the most children for this man?
>kingdom hearts
>if they generally understand the plot or just say generic "lol plot convoluted i dunno xd"
I just have to ask them what moves they used in their combo (god hand)
A couple mixed bag from TF2/source engine Jank
What're the units of measurement used in the source engine called?
What is the conversion ratio from those units to feet?
Where does medics regeneration come from?
How much HP does a level 3 sentry have?
What % multiplier is a mini-crit?
>Hammer units
>16 HU. : 1 ft.
>It's innate to medic, I think
>216
>35% damage boost, plus some falloff reduction maybe
Almost, the medic gets his regen from his primary, funnily enough. And yes minicrits grant no damage falloff but keep ramp-up at 135%. Otherwise correct
>How much HP does a level 3 sentry have?
>havent played tf2 in 3-4 years but somehow know its 216
human memory sucks
in mgs2 what do the 3 S's stand for in the S3 project?
Society for Sane selection....Selection for a Sane society? Frick, anon its been like a decade for me.
Solid Snake Simulation
>selection for societal sanity
>spoiler
The first one is the correct answer but the spoiler shows you actually played the game and didn't just look it up real quick.
Huh, I suppose that's a good way to catch people
Got one for you for the first game.
What's different about Jaeger the third time you see him?
Oh I've got a fricked one too if you played the highest difficulty: What's does liquid add to his combos?
oh frick uhh, his visor is down the last time you meet him right? then he gets crushed
frick I knew I was being too obtuse, I think that's actually right but I mean more "3rd playthrough"
In A Link to the Past, how many warps to the Dark World are there?
7
8 if you count Hyrule Gate.
Incorrect
There are 9 including Hyrule Gate.
If it’s for Kingdom Hearts then:
How many people have been inside Sora.
From the top of my head:
Ventus, Kairi, Roxas and Riku, maybe Xion too?
Correct. I’d say technically six if you count Naminè as an extension of Kairi, and since she’s inside of him during Re:Mind.
Although depending on your definition you could make an argument for Riku too since Sora was gay enough to stick Riku's Keyblade inside of himself.
What did she mean by this?
Nothing, she's bullshitting.
the old man's wiener
She canonically had sex with him and the kid
Who killed Ogre in Tekken 3?
Also, which Tekken character was the first to have voicelines in their ending FMV.
Paul defeated Ancient Ogre, then left before Ogre reached its final form. Jin came and defeated True Ogre.
Yup, just looking to see who remembers Paul being Paul and assuming victory too early.
What significant role in the plot does this character serve in Castlevania 64/Legacy of Darkness?
OP sucks massive wiener
In InFamous 1, does the sky only turn red at the end of the game IF you have the added Ray Sphere boost pre final mission?
What is the true, original identity of the Black Silence, and why do they have that moniker?
Gloves muffle all the sounds.
Was it Angelika?
Yes, that's correct!
Yes, it was Angelica.
What is the actual probability of winning against FTL's giant alien spiders?
0%, it's never happened to me. Frick this game.
This wasn't even a thing until that flash video, and that flash video was done under the idea that it would be so much hotter if she had real big breasts.
What’s your reward for shooting the fish from the dock?
getting eated by a big feesh :3
What is this woman's weakness?
Anal?
Both wrong.
Mechanically, nothing, other than somehow being a worse ally than enemy. Pain in the ass.
But she has a thing for maid costumes or something otherwise.
Say You're Human/lowest stealth
Yup.
In Soul Nomad, which other NIS character makes a cameo in the alternate route and where?
I remember you can find Asagi, but I think it's if you beat a world eater early on in the main route or something, I don't remember finding anyone in the alternate route but knowing how these things go it's probably Laharl
there is a way to access the lair of the ur dragon without entering the everfall, how?
The stupid stone in Cassardis's offshoot beach that sticks out like a sore thumb.
What’s written on the locker that everyone laughs at?
is it coomer?
Yes
Nice trips Dr. Coomer, hope you see you down in research later and not plastered across the floor from some wacko aliens or something.
How many of these characters have canonically had sex?
Zelda and Link (dependent on incarnation)
like half the FE cast
Pyra/Mythra
You missed quite a few.
Don't forget Kazuya and Ken who both had children. Also Simon and Richter since they have descendants.
Bowser, Bayonetta and Olimar have kids.
Joker can have sex I believe but it’s up to the choice if the player.
>Bayonetta
what
I need to hurry the frick up and play 2 and 3.
If you want to be technical that's the kid of an Alt Bayo, not our Bayo.
Simon and Richter would have to have had sex to continue the Belmont line
Better question, how many of them canonically have dead mothers?
I did a list for this a while back. I'd definitely put some of these in different spots now, and some were just me asking a friend or two if they ever have a kid at some point and taking their word, so critique from anyone who knows better than me is very much welcome.
>Lucas in no
He was molested by Ionia thoughbeit
What’s the most powerful and dangerous enemy in this game?
grandma
No, same island tho.
Wasn't it a pig or something? Not played this in almost 20 years.
Yes, it’s the fully-grown pig on Outset if you attack it enough.
What is her ability?
Crippling moronation.
And turning back time, which isn't that useful for being a detective either.
Braap uh oh stinky funny poo haha poopoo pee pee
What can change the nature of a man?
A shitty, overrated game made by gays with a shitty overrated setting only homosexuals like and force everyone to play. If I remember correctly it's a trick question that you can answer whatever you want.
It's not the player answer but the retort that matters.
"Whatever you believe can change the nature of a man, can".
>What can change the nature of a man?
The updating of his journal.
NOTHING CAN CHANGE THE NATURE OF A MAN
What is the temperature that paper burns at?
>What is the temperature that paper burns at?
Ignition temperatures are anywhere between 200 and 250 C
The actual flame can be hotter tho
What is the name of the assistant in Turnabout Samurai?
Penny Nichols
You got it.
What piece of evidence are you required to present to end the episode at the final prompt in The First Turnabout?
I think you present the statue/clock thing to larry
Haha you got layton'd, you can present anything to end the episode, being right is optional
After his disbarrment, how many years did Phoenix Wright take to get his badge back?
>Haha you got layton'd
frick
Layton question again. The answer is eight. Seven years of being disbarred, then an extra one because he got it back in the middle of Dual Destinies' timeline. He didn't have his badge in 5-2.
Correct, less layton than the other one though since the DLC case opens with the answer to this question.
No more questions because thread is dying, goodbye
>filename

Ask them if they know about the cum chalice dungeon(Bloodborne)
What are the names of women that Majima held dear in his life?

What is another Agent's 3 secret identity and what alias does 3 use for it?
Which is the best Half Life horror mod?
Afraid of Monsters/Cry of Fear
They Hunter is unironically garbage
Nightmare House was HL2 IIRC
In Battle for Bikini Bottom, assuming you beat the game with the bare minimum amount of golden spatulas needed to fight the final boss, how many spatulas will you have when the credits roll?
75, which are piss easy to get.
It would actually be 77 since you get two from the final boss.
I was answering for how many you need to enter, didn't even read the second part of the question about how many you exit with. But yeah, you get two from the boss.
what's the minimum amount of money you can finish luigi's mansion with?
5,000G. You can avoid all the money and treasure in the game, but you can't avoid taking the final boss's crown, which has the same value as a single coin.
correct
How many bosses are there in the first game of the spinoff Dragon Quest Slime series
What color nail polish does Sayaka Maizono use on her feet?
Who was in the wrong here?
Iori for being a boring b***h with the least interesting chapters in the game.
In Pokemon HGSS, above Goldenrod City you can get a pokemon from the guard at the gate. What pokemon is it, what is the name of the pokemon and what is it holding?
Spearow named Kenya, holding a piece of mail that you're supposed to deliver to someone.
Who are you?
What do you want?
not exactly what you're asking but if they can get the "speed of light (incorrect value from the 90s)" answer correct in alex kidd goes to the arcade.
or actually get passed the town where you need to play 200 times or something, I never did solve that. the game was extremely japanese.
for my actual favorite game i'd ask "who is velka" and if they laugh I know they know. lore is convoluted
Explain how Subject X, the mystery girl Ansem and Axel/Saïx talk about in KH3, is NOT Kairi.
Hint: she really isn't Kairi.
its XSHEon isn't it? since everyone forgot her.
haven't even played 3 yet by the way
No, Xion is "No. i". Subject X is a girl Xehanort was experimenting on when he was Ansem the Wise's apprentice.
Lastly, Subject X remembered nothing except having 4 friends, a key, and the words "May my heart be my guiding key," which would make her someone from the mobile games, not Kairi.
but which one?
my guess would be super smol on the right.
No, she's dead. Like, actually, honest-to-god dead, with a grave and everything.
oh right, thats what finally snapped no heart ain't it, I forgot. maybe don't put the most important part of the entire plot in A FRICKING PHONE GAME nomura.
nomoron....
Correct
and I will never forgive the exam board for being so low IQ they didn't even understand what I meant by "assuming d6" in their roll of a die question. imagine not knowing what fricking d6 means in context of dice, thats sub 40 iq.
d isn't an SI unit, and if your country or exam board operates using SI-recognized units then that's kind of the point.
Then again, why the frick isn't d a SI unit? Its not being used except for daltons and daltons are not a SI unit. Also if your exam question was about dice they're morons and should have worked it out, so frick anon I don't know, depends on the situation.
>d isn't an SI unit,
well you can't ask a DnD player what a die will roll and not say how many sides it has, I don't give a frick if you have to do it in gygaxs and invent it but you have to state how many sides else if I assume its NOT a d6 you cannot say im wrong later if the math checks out
oof so that phone game related stuff, and I have no idea.
This isn't about who it IS, it's about how it can't possibly be Kairi. The answer is in KH3 and makes it obvious, yet is overlooked by many.
In Deus Ex, which of the UNATCO staff is missing a leg?
I vaguely remember Sam Carter talking about an injury but I can't remember if it was his leg.
Yep it's Sam. I think the missing leg is either mentioned in concept art or the Bible
the player character if you get them blown off in the tutorial. love that game.
Okay, lemme try.
In The World Ends With You, there is a battle that you can win without pressing a single button, doing any movement with stylus, or relying on your AI partner. What exactly do you need to do to win it?
blow in the mic I don't know but I'm guessing
I think there was a battle like that, but that's not what I had in mind.
close the ds
Bingo.
In the Switch port entering the sleep mode does it. Not sure about other versions.
Here's a really fricking obscure one if you played Elite: Dangerous at all.

Namco X Capcom?
Project X Zone
No, it was Namco X Capcom.
That's mother fricking Taizo from Dig Dug.
Why the frick do people care about Chris Chan? As far as I'm concerned, the less I know, the better off I am
His life is crazy drama, with things getting so insane and out of hand it trumps most fiction writers. You literally cannot make up the shit that has happened to him and what he's done.
I feel like I would be more mentally sound not knowing any of that
You're probably right anon, I completely agree with you.
In the original The Suffering, did the protagonist murder his family or not?
How do you acquire the second moonlight blade in armored core 3?
Here's a good one. What are the 3 Chocobo references in the Kingdom Hearts series? As in 3 different types of reference. I've yet to meet someone who got all 3.
There’s a keyblade called the Metal Chocobo. There might be a gummi ship that references them. I dunno the third.
If the thread is up in 10 minutes and no one got it I'll explain.
There’s the Keyblade, I think there’s a Choco attack or item with the Gumiship in 3, and I feel like a world had a Chocobo sign? I honestly don’t know
WE HAVE A WINNER. Funny that same image also has foreshadowing to Donald and Goofy too.
Okay honestly I feel like I cheated. I was thinking that the Choco sign was in Toy Box or Radiant Garden. Never knew it was there in the cave.
This one got me. Didn't think they'd count the fricking bonus premier ball.
