What's with the derangement about this starter?

For the longest time, Gen 2 has been the "old guard" gen. Not quite normalgay enough for facebook genwunners, but too old to be as swept in by nugen shit, since all their shilling and attention dried up by Gen 4.
This makes a lot of zoomies pay attention to it, because the people shitting on their nugen slop tend to be Gen 2 fans more than anyone else.
Crystal and HGSS have consistently had the "masterpiece" praises sent their way over the years leading up to the nugens, which just made zoomies even more resentful.
Then, the floodgates opened when some leftist dysgenic homosexual named PokémonChallenges made a video shitting on the game, with the same tired talking points you'd hear from /vp/. Zoomies took that as the attack signal and have been relentless ever since.
>Why Gatr?
Gatr is the easiest target, because most of THOSE fans like Gatr. Gatr represents the one thing they hate, after all: a genuine monster design. A 7 foot tall beast that doesn't have some subversive meme or job attached to it. Gatr even rejects the dual type meme, proudly sporting a pure Water mono-type, of which zoomies cry about (which is why the non-furgays ditched the Galar starters asap). It's a spit in the face of every shit-stained diversity hire that game freak lets make Pokémon designs these days.
>Why not Blastoise?
They do shit on Blastoise, but they're also more scared of genwunners. (plus no anti-Gen 2 brownie points)
