I honestly have no idea.
I used to think i liked 12 but its been like ten years since i opened it. Then i finished 13 and just wished i was playing 12 instead. Then I booted 12 up and i kinda hated it since it just feels like a single player mmo. I guess Crisis Core is the closest thing to a FF game i still remember liking i guess. That and Dissidia
I just started IX last night and am enjoying the tone this time after bouncing off it long ago. I've always been curious about the 2D games, I haven't played any. And, of course, XIII and XV interest me as controversial titles. XII Zodiac Edition is still stupidly expensive so I don't know when I will ever play that.
I've always been convinced JRPG fans must have some severe form of brain damage to enjoy these games. Extremely uninteresting stories and characters with no depth and repetitive grindy combat that requires no skill. Would rather cut out the middle man and just play cookie clicker.
What you obviously are too stupid to appreciate is the way these characters, however shallow or deep their stories are, act together as an ensemble and allow for fun and dramatic moments with each other. The combat is fun too, and the cutscenes were cool because the art has always been really over the top.
Not him but I want to add that if you really aren't playing it because it's an mmo, well rest assured you don't have to play with anyone because you can even bring NPCs into dungeons. 100% soloable
I don't play many RPGs, but last year I finished Fallout New Vegas and it's the best one I've ever played.
Never expected to have so much fun on a Fallout game.
Will probably play it again next year.
same, it's the only one I played
not a normie but i like the one where you play as those 3 hot chicks. singer girl, tummy girl, and goth girl.
that is X-2
>mobile game
tried it, it was alright. Interesting concept for making the Dissidia combat turn based
>not a normie
>posts some dogshit WEG trash
>can't even remember the most basic FF names
You sure are normalgay who doesn't belong here though
>dogshit WEG trash
excuse me, shutupanddance is weg royalty.

I thought XIII-2 was the most interesting.
VII
X no other FF title comes close, X is perfection.
FFX is my favorite too but i still need to play some of them like 4,5,6 and 12. I played a bit of 4.
i liked bravely default on DS
15, objectively the best game in the series
X and IX pretty close.
Yuna is the best FF gal.
This, but I also really like VI, X, and the remakes of 1.
I honestly have no idea.

X-2
X-2 Story is pure garbage fanservice but the gameplay is kino tier.
X-2 is great unpretentious fun, it's campy and a bit silly and just nice to play through.
Come home, turn-based gamer.

X-2 does look like campy fun. I loved X.
7, 7r and 5
We all know the reason we are here.
Gentlemen, post your waifus
Bonus points for XIV content
Cute cat :3
No one cares about your shit taste or the fact that FFXIV is the only FF you've probably played, post about FFX
X for sure
7, no other FF comes close.
but why? I don't see what is so special about VII tbh. All these games are pretty cool.
I like the SOVL of 7, the characters, the story, the world, the cyberpunk kino aesthetics
It's the perfect FF imo.
i respect that
Hes a nostalgiagay
7 is great but incredibly overrated no it's not life changing, no it's not the greatest game of all time, but yes it's great
X
The only one I've played that didn't bore me to sleep.
Either 1 5 or 9, depends what I'm in the mood for.
The only FF I've finished, so also X. And yeah, I loved it.
FF7. The midgar atmosphere and materia system can't be beat
Mine is also FFX and I love all the characters except kimahri cuz i'm not a furry homosexual

Show me on the doll where tidus touched you
FFXIV, Shadowbringers Specifically.
Beautiful Story imo, people who won't play the game because it's an mmo are truly missing out.

I like 9,10,12, Crisis core, and 15 actually went up on my list after playing it with all the DLC
iT'S GOOD BUT i WISH SOMEONE WOULD MOD IN AN AESTETIC OVERWORLD TO COMPLETE THE EXPERIENCE
XV
FF7. But I like the card games of 8 and 9
XIII
I don't play many RPGs, but last year I finished Fallout New Vegas and it's the best one I've ever played.
Never expected to have so much fun on a Fallout game.
Will probably play it again next year.
had Versus XIII been out by 2013/2014 on the PS3, then it would've been my favorite FF game.
9 if it weren't for the shitty second half
