Link learns secret sword moves, all of which are context-sensitive parries that were bound to the A button in Wind Waker and didn't require learning. You do not have an instrument that influences the world. Wolf Link's howling for sword moves isn't an instrument, have a nice day. You do not have magic power and an accompanying meter. You have a six hour long tutorial before the game opens up and no real explanation for why Link has to wear a hood and tunic, since the game didn't start with him wearing one. The Hylian Shield is pretty fricking tiny compared to Ocarina of Time, like, oddly so, and continued the trend of it not being the size of a real heater shield.
I advise emulating the Gamecube version of game at 2x native resolution and using cheats to skip the light bug collectathons, they're 100% just padding.
