Maybe if you're grinding out side quests it is. I think my only problem with the late game was in my original playthrough on the Wii version where it felt difficult to navigate Agniratha between the similar architecture and the decently difficult enemies. The actual story's ending hits a lot of right notes for me.
How do Xenoblade X bros feel about being the laughingstock and most forgotten game in the franchise and that's including Xenosaga 1 and 2 on the DS only in Japan. The Aegis Pyra and Mythra being in Smash Bros over the Elma Helana whatever her name is from X is the final dab on the grave of Xenoblade X.
XCX is overrated as frick. It did three things well. >Interesting setting. >Beautiful world. >Can fly in mechs.
Everything else about the game is shit or annoying.
>try to play this game >get up to prison island >drop it because the anime shit is becoming obnoxious to the point of making the rest of the game unplayable >watch the rest of the cutscenes on youtube >it just got worse and worse after that
It really is a testament to this game when it's so bad that I can't even be bothered to finish it.
>"supposedly" has good writing >game demands that I constantly get on my knees and forgive every genocidal murderer that comes my way because REVENGE IS LE BAD
At least TLOU pulled this shit only once. Xenoblade expects me to do it thrice.
>forgive
When does anybody forgive Egil/Mumkhar/Zanza? Empathizing with someone and understanding why they do bad things isn't forgiving them. You should know it's possible to understand someone's actions without endorsing them, right?
Don’t reply to ACgay, he’s comically moronic. Dude regularly posts his fantasies about brutalizing Mythra for the crime of speaking to him in these threads
>empathizing with three mass murderers, 2 of which don't feel any remorse for their actions whatsoever, and one only feigns remorse after being beaten
Tell me, what was understandable about Dickson helping to orchestrate the entire genocide of homs and mechons? How did you empathize with him essentially treating everyone like cattle to be disposed of?
>w-well he said something nice to Shulk once, so he's heckin wholesome chungus
This is good writing to you?
Nobody forgave Dickson, you actual moron. He did what he did so he could be one of the big guys at the top. The fact that he was able to form something resembling a fatherly relationship with Shulk and a war buddy relationship with Dunban is honestly impressive considering how much of a selfish brute he is.

Yeah but maybe he'll get so mad, his aneurysm bursts and the world becomes a lot better.

>Nobody forgave Dickson, you actual moron.
And yet they give him a tearful scene as if I'm supposed to feel bad for him being a treacherous, lying piece of shit. The fact that Shulk didn't immediately cut his head off the moment he opened his mouth was disgusting.

Shulk isn't an edgelord killer like your Sonic OC, kid. Dickson was the closest thing to a father for him and you genuinely believe that Shulk would ape out and cut his head off?
Not sure if profound autism or mental deficiency.

Dunban come on.
I actually love XC1 but yeah I agree Shulk backing down on his revenge was handled really fricking shit, it felt like as soon as he got Fiora back he lost interest in being angry or something.
I know the intention was for him to let go of hatred and anger and find a better solution, but it needed to be handled better.
Why does Xenoblade 2 represent the entire franchise now?
Because that's where all the newbies came in. Same thing happened with series like SMT and 4. A bunch of newbies rush in on the newest entry and hold it to be *the* gold standard and any deviation is automatically shit regardless of actual quality.

Genuine psychopathy. Chimping out is literal animal behaviour. I'm glad the party chose to just leave him to die out of pity since such a move is a great deal more satisfying than whatever edgelord bullshit you'd come up with.

>it's psychopathy to want to immediately kill someone before they try another backhanded maneuver, like shooting you in the back
And don't give me bullshit about how "oh Shulk would've seen it coming this time" because he sure as hell didn't see it coming last time. This kind of disgusting human weakness is why I despise JRPGs.

>This kind of disgusting human weakness is why I despise JRPGs.
I recommend Vesperia, then. The entire theme of the story revolves around "vigilante justice vs the law."
The main character kills objectively evil villains who can't be punished by the law several times while his best friend, a literal knight in shining armor, argues against him about it. The whole thing's pretty good about stressing the complications of both sides of the argument.

The only "disgusting human weakness" is defaulting to a murderous chimp-out when presented with conflict. And again, Dickson is not just some random who shot Shulk. He was Sulk's goddamned father figure who he trusted. Perhaps try including human relations in your logic and you'll come across as less of an edgy dipshit kid who thinks psycho behaviour is "cool" and "mature".

Always works in RTS games and grand strategy, and they have far superior storytelling. This isn't some marvel capeshit, when you're faced with an irredeemable bad guy, you fricking put them 6 feet in the ground.
I gave this piece of shit a proper shot. Played a good 10 hours or more. I dropped it after fighting a boss that spouted incomprehensible wienerney gibberish every 2 seconds during battle.
Never. Maybe a few of the cutscenes at the end. This game kind of pissed me off because before it had an official port to America and was stuck on the Wii it was considered a "masterpiece" then I finally play it and it's just a shonen with some cool skyboxes.
When you remove the BoringbladeXeno 1 cartridge and insert Pyra and Mythra's game Xenoblade 2.
Some people like games with fps above 10
From the very minute you start.
i'm exaggerating but the end was a long slog

i didn't like the ending
The title screen
It's a Nintendo game so never
It's better than 85% of everything on the market
Exploration gets good on bionis leg
Combat gets good in makna forest
Story goes kino when you meet Zanza.
I liked it right away
Never, it's a shittier more annoying and more gay Final Fantasy 12
Should I grind out 999 affinity coins?
When Fiora rejoins the party
Dude, spoiler.

Still better than XC3.
No definitely not. It goes like so:
XC1 > XC3 > XCX > power gap > the worst game in existence > XC2
>preorder X
>Treehouse censors it
>cancel preorder
simple as
>being so tech illiterate that you can't hack a Wii U and use the uncensor patch, or emulate
lmao
Why waste my time and usb storage on a mid game with a shit story about alien dindus and everyone already being dead?
>Why waste my time and usb storage on a mid game with a shit story
But enough about XC3.

liked the game but the twists were fricking obvious as frick
Unless you enjoy homosexual moe anime and shitty JRPGs made for mobile platforms, it never does.

it doesn't
