I never feel guilty about pirating from AAA studios because there's enough cucks out there who pay for everything to ensure the studio doesn't shut down. The only time I'll actually go and buy the game is if it's a small studio or team that actually needs the money. Even then I pirate first because nowadays a lot of games are unfinished or buggy. If the game is legitimately good then I'll buy the actual game, buy merch, or I'll bookmark the dev and buy their next game as long as it doesn't seem to have issues before launch.
Modern devs don't deserve any trust unless they earn it and even then it's better to be cautious. Too many good studios sold out the first chance they got.
