i have never had fun and will never have fun until i move out of my stressful household, but unfortunately i was never taught how to buy a house in school so I do not know what to do. And inflation joe isnt making it easier either. Worst president in years.

With tabletop games? At Yugioh locals, especially if I'm in an interesting matchup like Eldlich or Floowandereeze.
With vidya? Earlier this year, playing Etrian Odyssey, after the first Stratum.
I was playing Quake Live earlier. Was having a pretty good time.
Dragon's Dogma. Anons shilled it for a while, and after the announcement for 2, I decided to finally try it out. It's fun.
I can second this. I bought it for $5 when it was on sale. I fully expected to be let down by it. I wasn't at all. It's very fun. I just need to complete the Everfall, and I will start my first NG+.
I only have true fun playing co-op games with my gf. Playing anything solo just results in mild-to-high levels of enjoyment.
So I guess It Takes Two was the last really fun game I played.
A Hat in Time, just recenlty im playing it and its really fun, which was a relief because I think the first world is pretty weak(and ugly).
Its kinda simple but it does have charm , also the boss fights are incredible

Shredder's Revenge was great fun with friends. I don't know why so many people on here were so ass blasted about it. Playing the new version of the Ocarina of Time PC port and it's neat. Also looking forward to Star Ocean 6 at least for the threads on here and /vrpg/

This slightly relates: Anyone notice your reactions to "exciting" news has dulled over time as you get older?
Meaning, when I was a kid/teen (even in my early 20s), any sort of big news about a movie/game/show I was interested in would get a visceral reaction out of me. I'd feel the excitement flowing. That never happens anymore. Even if it's something I'm really interested in, the biggest reaction I have is just "Huh, that's cool."
I can't tell if it's getting older, depression or both.
Gunfire Reborn when I got the rooster's Atomic Karate build going. Every time I landed a kick, my armor exploded in every direction, further empowering the damage, and guaranteeing at least one dead enemy, which took it off cooldown, allowing me to strike again. Just chaining flying kick after flying kick. It was hysterically fun.
Elden Ring was a lot of fun, but pure F U N came from Skywalker Saga. This game is just so stupidly fun.
Also Kirby and the Forgotten Land was pure F U N also, but that was awhile ago.

With Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, being able to rise from zero to hero is pretty fun also cucking Cao Cao and defeating Lu Bu every time we fight.
