Atelier is just a bunch of duologies/trilogies/quadrologies that aren't that tightly connected, as long as you don't start on the second+ game in one it shouldnt be that confusing
You wouldn't believe how much they recycle shit.
Also, they occasionally go into noticeable lazy phases. None since have been as bad as the one that plagued Ar tonelico 1 & Atelier Iris 3, but good lord, they've tried.
People still say Iris 2 is a prequel to Iris 1, just because of the recycled shit. It's truly amazing what cutting corners does.

I'd say recently the only really bad cases of reused assets are named npcs recycling the designs of random NPCs from previous games (i.e. Romy in Ryza from female shopkeepers in Lulua) and animations being reused across different franchises (i.e. sliding on a slope and crawling under a low passage from Ryza being reused in Blue Reflection Second Light). They'll at least try to keep assets unique between each Atelier sub-series.
>Firis is cute
Why doesn't the west meme about Firis the way Japan does? The way she has exclamation points on everything and keeps shouting about the most mundane of things is memed up super hard in Japan, like they have copypasta written of her exclaiming about how big a shit she took and how excited she is for how big it was.
Ryza if you're moronic.
Marie if you're autistic (arguably applies to most the series anyway).
Sophie if time limits give you panic attacks, but then you'll also have to skip Firis, why even bother?
Rorona if you like video games.
Ayesha if you just really don't want to play Arland for whatever reason.
You don't. I pirated just to check what's all about and it's another moronic anime cliche full of characters who don't speak or behave like humans. So only try if bottom of the barrel anime is something you deem entertaining.
rule34.xxx
but actually
Mana Khemia
Give me this game, I don't want to play as some anime b***h
with Mana Khemia and that's it
Marie obviously
>Marie obviously

So don't start On Sophie 2
How does this studio even manage to pump out games at the rate it does?
Recycling assets like there's no tomorrow

Rorona.
Slave-like work ethic. It's honestly insane how they pump out 50-hour jrpgs yearly. And they've been pretty polished lately.

Will her design ever be topped?
Nah play Ryza
1 or 2 it doesn't matter there's a recap at the beginning and they plots are barely related
This doesn't help me at all. If anything it just makes me curious about the Carrot one.
What's that Rorona/Sterk lookalike otome game?
Atelier Elkrone

Worthless if I can't romance Hagel.
>3/4 of the SP era Idolmaster radio show cast
>Cast for the boys include Morikawa and Miki
>fricking stuck on the PSP
woe is me
i might get it anyway
>Firis is cute
