This has never really been a factor with what wins GOTY at TGA. The last time a game released in the second half of a year won it was 9 years ago.

TOTK got a shitload of coverage and a bunch of devs similarly doing the whole "how did they make this" type of thing but yeah true enough BG3 has probably had more in the past few months.
I'm not even saying it's my personal GotY, and I'd honestly rather it be TotK. I'm just saying it's gonna be BG3.
The only reason to watch is to see how hard they're going to avoid talking about Hogwarts Legacy so the trannies don't riot.
I can't get hyped by this Simply because they lost all the credibility not nominating Starfield. I know they are lefty satanists, but you can't deny the scale of the game and the graphics. Plus, i think it has the most unique ways of treating Space Fantasy and the question of what's out there. All other games this year beside PL, all of the sucked hard, probably one of the worst years for videogames ever. Yea, they were a ton of them releasing, but how many were they actually good? Almost none
