Inafune fricked up pretty bad during the 7th gen and then later with MN9, but I really do appreciate how much he pushed the series at Capcom.

I’m working on a megaman legends rogue like with generated interconnected dungeons.
I think the gameplay was the least important part of what made Legends so well liked.
So a rogue like version might miss what made the series special.
That's a common opinion but it's not one I agree with. that said I'm not into the roguelike aspect either
Valid criticism, roguelikes aren’t for everyone. For me, the most important aspect was the spooky dungeon spelunking, finding secrets, crafting and upgrading new weapons and equipment, and beating horrifying robo monstrosities. Designing it so there are 4 towns with themed dungeons and a main dungeon, all with unique characters and quests. Main dungeon will be the rogue like while the town dungeons will be hand crafted but have an optional randomized mode after completion.
Honestly I'm desperate enough for more Legends style gameplay that I'd probably give it a shot in spite of my mild dislike for roguelikes. Do your thing anon.

Megaman 11 was revealed in December 2017 out of fricking nowhere, so if we're lucky we might get something this December. Honestly though, I have a terrible feeling they're just not going to say shit until like 2 months before release. A lot of publishers started doing that as an overcorrection to games being revealed like 7+ years before release and I fricking hate it.
