Which NES games have you beat?

Nobody cares about pic related except maybe boomers. Even zoomers will play SNES games, but young people don't care about the NES. Gaming start with the SNES.

Shut the frick up moron, NES is what gave the industry the chance to evolve from shitty western games

Atari made video games appeal to the mass audience in the first place you feral mutt.

Even the mainstream audience rejected Atari and all the other amerimutt companies that were making consoles, that's how bad videogames were for those consoles, the quality of NES games was on a different planet.

It was my first console, and you played what you had, so I beat quite a lot of them. Punch Out, Double Dragon II, etc.

    MM 1-6
    Zelda 1-2
    Metroid
    Mario 1-3
    Kirby
    Kid Icarus
    DuckTales 1-2
    Darkwing Duck
    Gradius
    Ghost n Goblins
    Double Dragon 1-2
    Renegade
    River City Ransom
    TMNT 2-3
    Castlevania 1-3
    Contra 1-2
    Ninja Gaiden

I still have like 50 in my backlog. NES is great.

I beat dragon warrior 1. I played it while at work and for some reason the super simple idea of not being able to explore or do anything without grinding was addictive to me.

I've beaten Megaman 1 though 6, Ninja Gaiden 1 through 3, Super Mario Bros 1 through 3, Vice Project Doom, Kirby's Adventure, Mighty Bomb Jack and Rygar.

in my experience, more people are still playing nes than snes games, because short, gameplay focused games like castlevania, ninja gaiden and mario are more apt for speedrunning and casual play compared to lengthy snes jrpgs like ff6, chrono trigger and secret of mana

    Rocket Ranger
    The Legend of Zelda
    Final Fantasy
    Kung Fu
    Double Dragon
    Kirby’s Adventure
    Life Force
    Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers
    Batman

    Super Mario Bros. 1-3
    Legend of Zelda
    Zelda II: Adventure of Link
    Blaster Master
    DuckTales
    Metroid
    Castlevania 3 (JP Version)
    Bionic Commando

That's all that I can recall off the top of my head. NES games are fun but damn, did Nintendo used to not pull punches.

I forgot a few as well!

      Dragon Quest 1 and 2
      Jackal

I can't remember the name of it but there was this game where you'd basically "build" your player character out a list of parts and then go through a dream world I think? I forget the name of it but I beat that one in the course of a few nights.

Remembered that game with the character builder, it was called Cocoron.

    Double Dragon 3
    Super Mario
    Super Mario 3
    Ninja Gaiden 2
    Megaman 2, 3, 4
Castlevania 1, 2, 3 (also the JP version and I wish the two could be combined as the JP version was too easy and the EN version too much)
    Kirby
    Guerilla War
    Zelda
    Zelda 2

I dunno there were probably others but games in the NES era were either master pieces or broken shit you weren't meant to beat because they were designed while forgetting it didn't have a slot for quarters.

Don't think I've seen Guerilla War before, I'm interested in this.

Delusion. The only games worth playing on the SNES are the FF games and even they're better played on the GBA.

NES has all of the best games in their series.

I just recently beat Ninja Gaiden. Also played the Castlevania and Mega Man collections, but those are the steam versions.

I'm also practicing Punch-Out, I think I'm at the second Piston Honda fight

that’s just off the top of my head, and barring famicom exclusives i owned most of these as a kid and played them at a time when i also had snes, genesis, n64, and playstation
also, moron, nes is literally what saved video games as an industry, they were dead because of how garbage atari and it’s peers were

I think its the worst videogame ever made. I shit you not, its horrible, it has ANTI-gameplay mechanics, the music and atmosphere are good tho.
Horrible plug for my own video but Deja Vu by the same developers is much better, even tho it also has a few really stupid solutions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8piNHr2a6wY

    SMB 1-3 (3 warps)
    Zelda 1 (both quests)
    Mike Tyson's Punch Out (23-0, 23KO)
    Kirby's Adventure
    DuckTales (100%)
    Castlevania 1
    Mega Man 1
    Jaws
    Balloon Fight
    Gyromite (Game A)
    Contra (no lives code)

I still cannot be Tetris or Ninja Gaiden. The former due to DAS being a pain in the ass (rolling is cheating, frick you) and Ninja Gaiden's final Act and bosses are fricking awful.

Game I tried a thousand fricking times to beat, but never could:

Seriously, has anyone ever legitimately beat Bayou Billy without emulation like a decade later?

      Oh yeah, and Faxanadu.
Play Faxanadu. It's great. It's based on the same game Zelda 2 was based on, but it's better than Zelda 2.

I guess this guy did, but he also became a YouTuber so ask yourself if the risk of cringe is worth it.
