Metal Gear Solid 5 because i actually expected it to be amazing after playing Ground Zeroes and the opening of Phantom Pain.
I never had expectations for Cyberpunk.
MGSV wasn't a disappointment at all. Story ends abruptly, but besides that it still an amazing experience with great gameplay and atmosphere
Cyberpunk is straight up an alpha version release, its objectively unfinished (not like with MGSV) and they factually cut a lot of contend that was PROMISED to be in there
Crouch stealth with zero depth, broken AI and abusable tranquil gun
Most of Ganker is full of election tourists and zoomers that lack an imagination and need to have bullets flying 24/7, in-game currency used to unlock loot boxes and other Ponzi schemes, DLC crossover skins, meme references, super linear gameplay progression, boxed in fundamentals, and developer handholding. It's why Elden Ring is filtering them more than Dark Souls 1 (the most linear) did. Look at these two

They lack creativity and an appreciation for the subtleties of game design. Zoomers: stand still on Mother Base...you can hear the waves crashing against the steel support beams. Listen in on your soldiers and you'll hear their conversations. Observe the animals as they carry on in realistic fashion. Feel the heat of the Afghani sun on your exposed skin, feel the humidity of the African jungle on your face. Immerse yourself in the game. MGS5 (and Cyberpunk too, truthfully) does an excellent job of selling the setting.
>using buzzwords
the only soulless thing in this thread is you, fricking meatbag
>Same webm as last time
First, the AI never did that to me. Second, posting the same shitty webm isn't going to prove that the gameplay itself is shit.

>great gameplay
Lmao >and atmosphere
Dead soulless open world
What atmosphere?

Not prominently. Go sit still in the jungle and tell me what "music" you hear. The OST you're thinking of is prominent during boss fights and action scenes. Guess what? MGS5 has those too!
CP2077 was really nice to look at, but interacting with the world was painful. I wish they went more "immersive sim" route and not ACTION rpg
Scripted scenes there are really great and some stories are interesting as frick
I almost quit this fricking hobby or whatever because of how disappointing MGSV and FFXV were. I had convinced myself that nothing would top those games, that I could stop gaming after them. MGSV is the game that taught me hype is bad.
bruh cyberpunk still has like 4% of getting dlc, sequel maybe updates
MGS was not only unfinished but it pretty much came out and konami ended
no good ending, no MGS6 not dlc cut content up the wazoo and behind the scenes kojima crap
I had about 35 hours of fun with MGSV but I got bored and stopped without finishing it, which is of course funny because the game itself is infinished. With CP2077 I put in about 75 hours and finished it, having completed 80% of the side stuff and I frankly enjoyed it much much more than MGSV. Yes it was a bit buggy (mainly just with character model weapon bugs) but it was a more enjoyable of a game.
MGSV easily. The trailers looked cool but they literally spoiled everything about the game and the story was mess outside of some cool moments. The amount of cut content was also pretty bad, mission structure was gimped by the open world focus and base development/interaction was pretty underwhelming considering how important it sounded pre-release.
Cyberpunk was bad but MGSV was hyped to high heaven and back with the threads here and fell flat like a rock when people realised how much Kojimbo dropped the ball.
Neither, because I haven't been hyped for a game since around 2012.
MGS. Cyberpunk was buggy on release but still was a complete game
MGS5 was supposed to be the epic conclusion to the series and wasn’t that good, yeah cyberpunk was shit but it was standalone
Metal Gear Solid 5 because i actually expected it to be amazing after playing Ground Zeroes and the opening of Phantom Pain.
I never had expectations for Cyberpunk.
MGSV and its not even close. are you a zoomer?
Cyberpunk is awful but MGS5 is a far bigger disappointment

Lmao

Dead soulless open world
It does have great gameplay
Crouch stealth with zero depth, broken AI and abusable tranquil gun
Keep malding

Yeah but where’s the soundtrack?
MGS hasn't had a prominent soundtrack since 2.
Cyberpunk's soundtrack is in every crevice of the game.
3 and 4 had good ost, what are you smoking, it was PW when it stopped

Anyone who says Cyberpunk 2077 is a zoomie.
>MGSV
>literally had Ganker postphoning their suicide
>Kojima actually had credibility with MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3
>Cybershit
>Made by developers who couldn't make a fun 3rd person hack and slash game designed around one character
MGSV coulda be the GOAT
with how many people were saying that back then, i do wonder how many people legitimately killed themselves when they actually played through it
>i do wonder how many people legitimately killed themselves when they actually played through it
I hope it was a sizable number of them
cyberpunk, i guess? but only by a little, they are both pretty good games
But MGSV is the best metal gear game
I almost quit this fricking hobby or whatever because of how disappointing MGSV and FFXV were. I had convinced myself that nothing would top those games, that I could stop gaming after them. MGSV is the game that taught me hype is bad.
Nobody expects anything from Kojima except for shiteaters.
Cyberpunk wasn't a disappointment unless you were a poorgay.
MGS5 and it isn’t close
>CP2077
uooh
I never even finished MGSV so probably that.
MGSV was the second best game of 2015.
Cyberpunk, because gays hyped it to the moon, and it's really bad
bruh cyberpunk still has like 4% of getting dlc, sequel maybe updates
MGS was not only unfinished but it pretty much came out and konami ended
no good ending, no MGS6 not dlc cut content up the wazoo and behind the scenes kojima crap
gee we are missing one tank companion and 3 fight against sally and liquid.
Cyberjunk.
Cyberpunk, obviously.
Chapter 3 of MGS is coming out any moment now, Kojima has been planning it all from the beginning.
Orwellian brain wash kino still filtering brainlets.

2077 frick yo poll. Not even close.
The most anticipated rpg and game in years
vs
some movie
also, the degree of frickup is magnitudes beyond.
2077: doesn't even run.
V: oh noes! Did someone put gameplay in my movie!? Worst yet!
MgsV
