I didn't even know Nintendo had a successor to the DS for the longest time, it's way after my and most other millennials time. For fashion for example that would be the 60s and 70s, it doesn't work on a sliding timescale where new things are added over time.

It’s funny because I have a lot of great memories with the 3DS, but it came out when I was 17, but 18 in a few months. It feels like it was a part of my childhood, but was really a fun part of my 20’s and college years. My first handheld was a gameboy color with pokemon red then yellow.
