Why are people cheering on the censorship of Stellar Blade?

Why are people cheering on the censorship of Stellar Blade? Censorship of any kind should not be tolerated in games, even i you don't care for that type of content.
If Sony told Larian they had to censor BG3 for the PS5, I'd be just as upset because creative freedom should never be shackled behind censorship.
Yet, it wasn't censored, so it makes what happened with Stellar Blade even more odd. Why is there such an inconsistency? And why are people so for it?

the thing with BG3 is that everything NSFW is completely optional and the game has a high age rating in all countries, stellar blade is forced and the game is rated T is most countries

Stellar Blade is rated M, and all of the costumes are optional. You're argument is moronic, but I suspect you already know that.

no they're not, all costumes are skimpy except the bear one which you can unlock later in the game

At no point does the game make you change out of the first costume. Your argument might make sense if the censored the default outfit, but the censored completely optional outfits.

Why the frick does it matter what she's dressed like? She's not nude and women IRL dress in less all the time.

Eve had to be censored because she's too sexy. The characters in Baldur's Gate looks like trannies so it didn't cause the same level of dysphoria/outrage on twitter.

They don't know that Korea bans bikini.
See Burqa archive(since 2023), DFO(since neo awakening) having no bikini. Korean censorship is even worse than Western DEI. At least West don't ban bikinis.
Nation without freedom of expression is anti-woke? Stop joking. P3 reload is more anti-woke for having high school girls in bikinis.
I worry if Korea force their censorship standard to Japanese anime and game. Since Korea bans bikini.
Kakao would force K-censorship standard to Kadokawa and Rezero S3 adapted Korean censorship standard sadly due to Hallyu.... (to blame China, China has no feminist...)

what's wrong with cleavage in a rated M game? seriously, I don't get it.

T rated games have plenty of cleavage. Hell, Mario games have had characters with cleavage. The only thing I can think of is that current Sony just hates Asian games.

I don't care either way, but this isn't the company getting censored. They're deliberately making a design decision.
Can 100% disagree with the design decision, but that's very different than actually getting censored.
That said, I don't see an issue for giving backlash over the design decision if enough people don't care for it.

      >That said, I don't see an issue for giving backlash over the design decision if enough people don't care for it.
Apparently, a lot of people do given how they're being mocked for it in the press.
Again, if BG3 had to told by Sony (and this is what I think happened) to tone it down, and people made a petition to reverse it, I'd support them too.

If that's what happened, sure. I just haven't seen anything that pointed to this being the case. Lot of assumptions it seems.

I'm just going by Sony's track history. Again, their games division is based in California and several games have had their PS versions censored while the other version have not.

Why even make it skimpier in the first place if their "true vision" was to make it less revealing?

a design decision would be making the whole damn outfit again, they're just CENSORING it, and you are so damn moronic that can't tell the difference.

Ah yes, design decisions you make after the game has gone gold and the discs have shipped. Design decisions that all conveniently hide cleavage.

Indeed. Why are all of those decisions involve covering up skin, not exposing more?

Californians openly hate Asians. It's why they look the other way when black people attack and kill Asians en masse in their very own state, but will still tweet #stopasianviolence.
That hashtag was featured in an NBA game numerous times in an arena in Oakland, CA, where most that shit happens.
This naturally translates to video games when they dare to have characters that appeal to straight men. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
