Because the original idea was more interesting than what it is now
I played like 10 seasons of it, from 4 to whatever. It's just fricking boring after a while, I just want to pewpew and have a fight resolved fairly quickly and not these drawn out back and forth box battles. I'm not saying it doesn't take skill, but I am saying who gives a frick about video game "skill", the game is anti-fun.

I want a fortnite without building. I know that destroys a lot of its uniqueness but I will admit I don't have the patience and maybe reaction time to build like some of these autismos who only play fortnite.

The reason I complain about building is you'd quickly see how much builders actually suck at shooting if it wasn't there.

This, i hardly ever encounter builders of this caliber. It's mostly just people who crank out 90's fast as frick thanks to their macros.
Because theres no effective, time efficient way for me to practice.

I feel like comments like this are by people who haven't played the game. This only works if they're building with wood. If they can drop a wall, pump a few bullets into you and put the wall back up before you have time to react because the server updates slower than their reaction time, they just henpeck you til you die.

Ive been playing this dumbass game since season 1 and your average builder player is all talk and no show. Unless your playing arena or fighting a good player that strat works pretty much everytime against builders. The people that mass build like that are never good and have just put a stupid amount of hours into creative

You literally just strafe in a circle and unload on them hipfiring and swap to the next weapon instead of reloading regardless of what they're building with. You'll pop through stone and metal if you're applying damage as they build. Throw their build aim off as they track your visibility as you move in a circle and they're fricked. Buildlets literally can't cope with people who can actually play a tps and will just panic and try to drop on you with a shotty/smg
