In Australia there's a few grants you can go for where the government will give your small team basically enough money to live for 2 years.
it's a selection process and only x number of games get the grant.
there's a bunch of qualifiers, but one of them is "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion"
      https://www.screenaustralia.gov.au/funding-and-support/online/games/games-production-fund
when you apply they also ask you a bunch of questions about how black and disabled you are.

basically it's exactly the boogeyman Ganker complains about with other DEI funding, as a dev to chase this funding you will add black girlboss characters to your game.

Short version is there's a frickload of poser fricks out there. Like that self-proclaimed traditional aboriginal who got paid a fortune to paint a traditional aboriginal mural and made liberal use of the color blue because they didn't know aborigines didn't have blue paint. Half the "traditional aboriginal culture" was invented out of thin air in the last half century. Like the dumb b***hes who proclaim themselves traditional aboriginal leaders and just ignore the fact aboriginal culture was patriarchal and there's no such thing as female leaders in it.

            >It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
How is an Aussie supposed to respond to this? There is no world in which Australians vacate the land but for all their pandering to aboriginals they still catch shit and have to be told that they are basically squatters. Not that the demographics favor the possibility of Abos taking back the land, but statements like this just make it sound like they're licking their lips at the thought of being one day able to castrate, scalp, and evict the white usurpers. Just sounds like yet more of whites bending over and presenting for any group with so much as a tan and being told to frick off. They never learn.

Easily, they got invaded, they lost, if they wanted to keep the land they should have fought for it, they should consider themselves lucky that they weren't wiped off the face of the planet and they now get to live life on easy mode being afforded more opportunities than any other people on the planet.

                but enough about Palestine

                Anonymous

                Palestine is a good example.

Land has no owners, land is taken and held by force. The only people who can lay claim to land are those with that power, everything else is bullshit.

Israel was taken by force in the hopes that israelites could finally frick off out of europe and fingers crossed get wiped out by mudshits, alas mudshits are incapable of organising and now the israelites will most likely take the rest by force, they might dress it up as muh rightful land, the same as abos do, but the reality is they're just the most recent in hundreds of thousands of years of history of tribes displacing other tribes.

I mean abos wiped out other abo tribes, they wiped out even more primitive people who were in Aus before the abos.

The fact that abos, a people who claim to not believe in the concept of land ownership now suddenly want recognition of their land ownership is fricking hilarious and just outs them as the corporate stooges that they are.

Scientifically speaking they're cavemen, although they never made it out of the paleolithic period technology wise, so they're technically the most primitive of cavemen. Very basic tool making, no permanent structures etc

                >Wow is it even possible to be even more primitive than them?
I'm not sure if they were more primitive, probably just less physically capable, but yeah evidence suggests that the aboriginals wiped out the homosexual floresiensis frickers in Aus.

The game is great. The shit-eating animals who call themselves """"""RPG playerbase"""""" while being WEGtard subhumans are the problem. These are the same animals who bought troony's Gape, yet refuse to buy actually good RPGs with infinitely more C&C and roleplaying depth. This game made me realize that there is no more hope for the genre, because genuinely good RPGs get overlooked while putrid fricking dogshit like Latrine Studio or Owltranimal slop gets praised. Black Geyer, Colony Ship, Broken roads - all good RPGs and all of them went overlooked.

        >This game has barely any c&c or RPG elements to speak of
Shut the frick up, subhuman shit-eating animal, you haven't even sniffed the game, let alone played it.

Game has strong alignment-based reactivity. Different alignments solve quests in different ways and the behaviour of npcs changes based on your alignment with NPCs reacting differently to player characters of different alignments.

Reactivity based on origins. For example: some quests are offered only to specific origins and your origin is quite often mentioned in dialogue.

Multisolution quests are present, especially the big important ones. Skillchecks seem to come into play quite often as well, offering different quest/encounter resolutions.

Game reminds of Age of Decadence far more than it does of Fallout or Wasteland, except the difficulty is not on the level of AoD.

This is the kind of game that has to be played multiple times to experience all the content. Judging the game's length on the basis of a single playthrough is either dishonest or completely ignorant since all good RPGs with actual Choice&Consequence and roleplaying depth work this way.

So far, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The only thing that might be a problem to some people is that the early game isn't really rich in combat encounters, but that's not the focus of any real RPG. I do hope that as the game opens up, quest solutions via violence will become more frequent, but we'll see.

        Snap your fricking neck.

          >except the difficulty is not on the level of AoD
You kind of buried that in the middle there but that is a huge deal. It's basically AoD, if you could easily win all combat even as a fat merchant with no points in combat skills. Which takes away a lot of replayability

AoD is a solo experience, this game is a party based RPG. You get 4 party members who can carry your gimped ass through the game, though party member builds aren't really strong either and some overworld random encounters feature brutal patrols. Still, if you're playing a social character gimped in combat, you can just finish the game without combat at all which is also similar to AoD.

All in all, this game gives a very strong AoD vibe, but it's not exactly the same feel, just very similar.

          >C&C is when I can click a dialogue option and get a different
          >Also: Baldur’s Gate 3 is not an RPG
Enjoy your brain damage, I guess.

Choice and consequence, shit-eating subhuman tranimal filth, not just choice. Nothing you do in troony's Gape matters. It's a dogshit weg without any tactical or roleplaying depth or consequences. Snap your fricking neck.

Not him but I can see that. All the choices in the world don't really matter if they all end up with essentially the same thing, e.g. Mass Effect 3's different colored ending

                >All the choices in the world don't really matter if they all end up with essentially the same thing
Yes, which is why troony's Gape is dogshit with no C&C. BR is nothing like that, each of the 4 alignments solves quests differently and gets a shitload of NPC reactions throughout the game. Everyone will remember you being a nihilistic frick, for example and will constantly reply in dismissive manner, if you try to pretend you care for their well-being. That's what happening in my current playthrough, that's how reactivity looks like.

You ever think about the fact that shitposting about other games won't make anyone go and play that niche game you like?

I don't give a shit what you play, casul subhuman shitter. I'm here to take a shit down your lying tranimal throat and expose you as the lying subhuman you are, not """persuade""" you of anything. Snap dumb fricking neck.

It must have been a challenge for you to write a sentence without mentioning Baldur's Gate. Surely there must be something more specific in terms of positive or negative critique you wish to say about Broken Roads itself. Simply saying it's 'good' doesn't mean much compared to simply hearing from someone else that it is 'bad'.

    >LOL! We still don't give shit about mainstream reviews. It's about them and abysmal Steam reviews digging deep enough grave for this dead on arrival WOKE abortion of game creativity and fun. I really hope friendly African migrants break into your home so you get opportunity to show them your collection of obscure WOKE commercially failed indie cRPGs you have played as black troony/white basedboy cuck to completion. It will be DEEP bonding experience

Honestly i'd expected RPG codex to be hilariously woke and left leaning by now, I don't know why, I just kinda assumed the entire internet was fricked at this point, refreshing to see it's not.

The feeling of being railroaded with fetch quests early on appears to be one of the foremost complaints alongside the poor combat, from what I have seen.
