PCgays will laugh at you and even attack you if you even mention include a bluray drive on your computer. Like trannies they have amputated a once functioning organ and get really sour when they have to contemplate if that was the right move in the long run.
The only physical PC games being released are hentai games. Sometime they come with a usb+cd+steam key if they are generous.
The slower transfer speed will only impact you during installation and I would be more than wiling to wait a few more minutes for my install if it mean they were on discs/carts that I would always have access to and not take up drive space in cold storage.
As a peesea gay I would like to see return of physical media, as long as you won't require gay accounts to use your software. Won't happen because everything needs DRM for some reason.
The last physical PC game I bought was the Orange Box when it came out. The case was a spindle of like 5 DVDs stacked on each other. After going through all of them I still had to make a Steam account and download a big update. It just got pointless.
>Why do console games still get physical releases but PC games don't?
Steam DRM killed them when everything started using that
If you went out and got a physical copy of Civilization V just say, you were really buying a boxed steam key, the disc was useless. Plenty of games didn't bother with a disc at all and just gave you a cardboard circle instead
At that point it's completely redundant so people stopped buying them
almost every PC game has to be played through some kind of shitty launcher is most likely the reason
But yeah I miss it too, I barely buy games nowadays outside of a few PC RPGS/mmorpgs and it's crazy how I went from having tons of cool boxes between 98-2013 to now where I can buy like 30 new games within the next 10 years and not have a single box
Console games were meant to run from the cartridge, but now they are shitty install discs like PC always had and completely pointless. I think Nintendo are the only ones actually doing it properly.
Does your PC have a disc drive? It's obsolete tech when you can get 1gbps connection if you want.
Yes
This is the future you chose!

It isn't DRM, its spyware, governments need to know exactly what you are buying.
They could come in this manner though for special collectors editions.
Nice. I could not handle Maggot Baits.
Song of Saya comes with
>Install Disc
>Soundtrack
>Steam key
>Their storefronts steam key
They really are giving you guys options so buy the few that are still being made

I still have plenty of dvd's, and even some cd's I still haven't ripped yet, so an optical drive is still useful.
>you can get 1gbps connection if you want
Sure, I'll do that in 50 years once our government unfricks the NBN rollout.
Sounds like a you problem to me
Even the UK has fibre internet now, you have no excuse
>Does your PC have a disc drive?
And a flopper.
And you can suck my flopper.

Why do some of them look like kids?
Consoles are for children, and adults want to buy gifts their children can unbox and hold in their hands.
Steam has a refund system.
Eshop/psn do not.
