Sometimes I just want to play single player games. I have certain people on my friends list who message me to play(insert multiplayer game here) the second I get online.
Also: has a point because I'm expected to basically some games for hours at a time with no breaks. I like to play a lot of different games, I'm getting too old to play one single game for 4-6 hours straight.

Discord can register if you're playing a game or not. It doesn't catch everything, but it can see some porn games and register it as a game and update your status as playing that game.

It really doesn't matter for me, since everybody on my friend's list is somebody I know IRL and they could either message me on Discord (which is online but muted, I check it give or take every hour), or if it's super important they know to just call me.

I had multiple mental health episodes during the winter months. I wanted to be alone and Isolate so I went ghost on everything that was not work related. I have like 3 online friends (2 long time guildies and 1 irl friend) that know im not well and chat from time to time but naturally when offline person sends messages they do not get notified instantly.
I walked out from my long time secure job early june because of yet another mental health crisis that included rather dramatic email to my supervisor completely ruining my financial plans for the rest of the year.
Basically nobody messages me and quite a few people who I considered closeish have not tried to contact me at all strenghtening my belief that just disappearing is best for them because I only cause harm and worry due ailing mental health and they clearly did not care anyways.

Lately I've been playing Brightis, an untranslated PS1 third person adventure. Not knowing what the hell is going on is great and it makes me feel like a kid again, though I'm stuck because a fellow knight at a caved in wall wants me to go to the east side of the map for something but I've been unable to determine what he wants me to do now that I'm here. I was hoping for another cutscene but there's just nothing, I presume I need to find something a dungeon entrance and something in the dungeon will let us blow up the wall since that's generally the trend of things. I'm also very close to unlocking a sick looking sword attack that makes a beam run along the floor, which I'm excited to get because otherwise I have no ranged attacks.
All in all I'm extremely impressed with the game, its got a moveset list and moveset customization that genuinely seems to rival God Hand, in a PS1 game no less. Highly recommended.

I don’t actually like meeting new people unless there’s something specific about them that I want, e.g., they’re part of some type of group or are into a niche thing that I like. I’ve found that I’d rather just have a small group of people that I have a deep relationship with instead of a lot of different people. I had multiple mental health episodes during the winter months. I wanted to be alone and Isolate so I went ghost on everything that was not work related. I have like 3 online friends (2 long time guildies and 1 irl friend) that know im not well and chat from time to time but naturally when offline person sends messages they do not get notified instantly.
I walked out from my long time secure job early june because of yet another mental health crisis that included rather dramatic email to my supervisor completely ruining my financial plans for the rest of the year.
Basically nobody messages me and quite a few people who I considered closeish have not tried to contact me at all strenghtening my belief that just disappearing is best for them because I only cause harm and worry due ailing mental health and they clearly did not care anyways.

Lately I've been playing Brightis, an untranslated PS1 third person adventure. Not knowing what the hell is going on is great and it makes me feel like a kid again, though I'm stuck because a fellow knight at a caved in wall wants me to go to the east side of the map for something but I've been unable to determine what he wants me to do now that I'm here. I was hoping for another cutscene but there's just nothing, I presume I need to find something a dungeon entrance and something in the dungeon will let us blow up the wall since that's generally the trend of things. I'm also very close to unlocking a sick looking sword attack that makes a beam run along the floor, which I'm excited to get because otherwise I have no ranged attacks.
All in all I'm extremely impressed with the game, its got a moveset list and moveset customization that genuinely seems to rival God Hand, in a PS1 game no less. Highly recommended.
