Yeah, I remember the GBC game being alright. Can't say I revisited much in these past 10-15 years though.

Also wtf was Lucky Luke's gimmick anyway? Literally just a cool cowboy who looks like Elvis?

How come those two midwits wrote their name in pop culture history without being artificially promoted by some greedy executive?

I love me some european comics, and Lucky Luke seems like something I would enjoy but his comic books cost some inadequate money in my country. TinTin too, and that's a shame because I love TinTin.

So yeah, more games and general representation of the series in other types of media could've been good.

He's a French character and western games and western media in general have traditionally been international Anglo monopolies, even if France also makes their own games.
It's also hard to remain relevant when, unlike popular Anglo media, you aren't constantly being homaged in Hollywood movies, American TV series...

    >no games
I'm 100% sure there was one for PC. That said, Europe's not exactly the center of game making (the most prolific being USA/Japan), and there were already other known euro series around.
For me, it's really the Asterix platformers. That getting a decent platformer was cool.

The real mystery is why he's not popular in the states. His comics were running when Westerns were huge over here.
