I'm replaying Overclocked right now and she really isn't so bad. She just voices her discomfort but with any amount of encouragement she is ride or die for you and Atsuro. On alot of maps she actively engages the enemies and calls them out on their bullshit and hypocrisy. Yuzu is a pretty solid character, she is a chosen one who really didn't want to be a chosen one.
I love fusing overpowered demons in this game but last time I played I used auction demons without any fusing and it was a nice change, since I had to rely more on my MC rather than obliterating everything with anything.

My favorites are Makoto, Otome, and Fumi. I recall Makoto having bad stats but I still used her for support.
If I remember correctly Alcor is the best support character because he gets turns more quickly than other characters, the dancer girl is the best multistriker, and otome/fumi are good magic nukes.
I honestly really liked both. The gameplay in both games was incredibly solid, and the relatively more serious story in tbhO was counterbalanced by the sillier tones of tbh2.
Forgot everything good about the original. Some may say the gameplay has improved, but the gameplay in the first was already so perfect so why fix what isn't broken? Adding more mechanics only suit to bloat a perfectly competent system. The story and characters are also terrible, giving Persona 5 a run for it's money. There are times in the story like the Airi belly button incident and the medical exam that feel downright insulting. Also the choices don't matter at all and are watered down to a much worse social link system. The endings all end up the same and if you play the game once you basically get the full experience so there's no need to replay. Might be a good thing for some but I enjoy having depth in my games, something this game severely lacks.
