I haven't played the xpac and it's the first time I bothered to pay attention to mh game plot but was it ever brought up again that she's a princes from a foreign land or something or did they just drop that entirely?
it's mostly isolated to optional flavor dialog from a couple of characters, until the update with Amatsu rolled around and there was a very out of place cutscene that plays as you enter the mission with this subplot as the focus as a sort of conclusion. the expansion had a noticeable extra focus on the narrative, very akin to World. and it's awful here too, the saving grace is that the cutscenes are skippable.
I have and its great, way better than world, screw the claw and the mantles, at least monsters are more aggresive here due to the existence of the wirebug. Also Chichae is cute.
Because I bought Monster Hunter World and was bored silly.
Every game company made half-ass Monster Hunter clones that were more fun than Monster Hunter, but due to market saturation, everyone became sick of them.

Playing through right now and I can't believe I'm saying this but the addition of cute girls substantially increased my enjoyment of the game. I fapped so much to Hinoa and Minoto porn is unbelievable.

Already did. Sunbreak was the best 5th gen MH game and base Rise was better than base world.

Have 1.5k hours, 3.5k in World, and about 2k iirc in GU.
Need a break from the series and I've started playing Diablo 2 (though playing it just makes me miss MonHun). I look forward to Dogma 2.
