Why don't americans ever speak with their own words?
I've noticed a lot of americans just parrot phrases, sayings, movie lines, cliches and memes in place of outputting their actual thoughts with sentences they formed in the moment. Their minds just always seek out some sentences they've heard or seen somewhere before and just basically copypaste that into the conversation... and not just on the internet but in real life as well. I was taking the tram earlier and there were some american tourists there and all I heard were generic common phrases like it was two morrowind NPC's having a chat.
It's really uncanny. Call me obsessed and post that image of the Mad Men guy in the elevator, whatever. I know you will, it's what you guys do, because I am legitimately growing a belief that americans are in fact bots.
