ive been playing it since release and had a ton of the game spoiled for me, but nobody talked about the mech robot and i was pleasantly surprised when i found it.
because everyone already knows it and its nigh useless since by the time you get it, you can one shot most enemies in 4 hits with your hyperpowered super zonai sword

This mech kinda sucks. Does less damage then just using link even with good horns fused, does nothing to protect link you just take full damage while riding, it's slow as fuck and requires devices to mitigate the shittiness even a little. It works best when you just fuse the best shit you can to it then ignore it and just let it do its own thing. Even then it's the biggest of your spirit companions and is constantly getting in the way or poofing out of existence to get out of the way.
The mech was so cool to find and I was so ready for it to be good but Nintendo had to hamstring every last bit of fun in this game.
I put 10 hours into TOTK and I haven't touched my Switch in days, I have zero desire to continue playing
I like that you get companions. Can't wait to see all the fun things they do with it on the PC version. Add whatever characters you want, for however you want.
Really make it feel like an adventure.
Literally just brew some adhesive potion, put on your frog suit or find/build shelter and start a fire to wait out the rain.

Spirit Shrine in the Depths, the mech is the sixth sage. The process starts in a sky island though.
