Not a Switchgay but I've been playing Library of Ruina recently and I think this game is fricking awful. Currently on Keter Realization, I've wanted this game to be over for 20 hours.

Der Outis just has trouble getting to high bullet counts. Thats it
She's a very consistent mid-tier clasher but her damage isn't crazy and her gimmick takes way too long to setup
She's going to be a lot better in the future, not because of "uptie V will fix her" but because as the game progresses and levels get higher hp values will get inflated and fights in general will get longer so she can get her bullet counts high.
Even without building high bullet counts she does a good job supporting burn teams since she applies minimum 1 dark flame with every move which basically doubles burn damage (more or less depending on pride resistance) and even comes with defense level down to increase the team's damage. She's just the only ID that scales much further past most fight's length which just means that in long fights a big dark flame application is a tactical nuke
Her S2 does not apply dark flame when you get to 4+ bullets.

Also I guess it's true for most rpgs and deck builders, but kinda hate how you dont get into the real meat of the game to make interesting builds into halfway through the game, I just built Malkuth's floor to be high defense or revenge with Zwei decks and didnt go too well against the Stray Dogs(actually, it went too well at first, and I didnt get 4th Match Flame's page that gives Burn upon hit, which would have helped massively since Malkuth was constantly at 2 or 3 Protection), the whole team died with Geong-Mi last with like 5 hp. I guess I have to decide to either go full revenge with ego pages that proc upon being hit or go full defense and destroy Stagger with the Teddie Bear's pages.

I gotta be honest - I did not enjoy Lobotomy Corporation. I stil played it before LoR, I'm not some filthy secondary, but I enjoyed LoR a lot more. LC just feels super repetitive.

LoR felt infinitely more tedious to me than LC ever did by the end of my playthrough. I just wanted it to end half way through the reverb ensemble and had no idea what I was in for.

In LC you restart and redo days constantly with 90% of your time being spent doing the same thing regardless of the day, while in LoR you're doing new content at all times unless you're getting walled by your deckbuilding skills.
I actually enjoyed LC's gameplay.

They aren't actual factual events that happened in universe, yes, but they're real to the abnormality's story and its archetype. When you see a story log of an interview talking about Nothing There, that interview didn't actually happen, it's a part of Nothing There's setting and is true to Nothing There and its world view. That's why we literally extract these stories with PE archetype positive boxes instead of just... having them right away.
A few of them might be real stories since some abnos came from outside but there's no way to know which, though.

Yeah, maybe so. I was always skeptical when comparing the abnos in Ruina because they were kind of just "band-aided" added to the game and figured they just half-assed a lot of stuff. It's just hard to tell sometimes, especially when you take into account the fact that some abnos are literally just connected to one and only one person instead of an archetype or influencial thing in or outside of the the city like Bloodbath and co.

During Ruina, I was coping that it wasn't the abnormalities weren't solely connected to someone, but rather that people like Carmen simply just so happen to relate and resonated alot with the abnormality. Now since Limbus(specifically Lost Passenger), I've accepted that if a certain event is suitable, impactful and resonates with the archetype enough, it may take that event to represent itself, either as lore, way of thinking, location or appearance.
I would argue that some stuff like the interviews might have happened. Take a look at Scorched Girl's excerpts and compare it to her story in Ruina. There is an obvious disconnect between the 2

Were Battle Symbols managed properly? Besides the fact they have very obscure methods to getting obtained. their effects were so minuscule that fully decking a nugget with one barely made a difference imo, while in LC going for a certain kind of build made all the difference, you could easily get your nugget to 200 of whatever stat you wanted(which in my case was perfect because I had WN in my facility by the end and my Info Team Captain could work on it at least 3 times per Meltdown). Iirc not only were the effects minuscule but they also had very specific conditions to proc, like 3% chance of getting +1 Power with Pierce attacks while the enemy has +15 Burn.
There are three or four slots with generic flat bonuses that are almost worth collecting but it's still quite minor
