>dataminers looking at NSO updates >for GBC/GBA NSO it's mostly just "it supports this feature, neat" >for N64 NSO it's always just "here's the horribly esoteric way they're patching this because the emulation itself is shit, here's the shit that is still broken, here's features that are implemented but not turned on for users"

Because they're already paying for online so anything that adds to that value is a boon to the average consumer without having to jump through hoops with emulation mostly finding others to play with.
I don't think it's any harder to use PKSM than it is to use Home, but yeah I guess people consider it a crime when an emulator doesn't have that official Nintendo seal of quality sticker
>I don't think it's any harder to use PKSM than it is to use Home
It's definitely harder, you have to set it up on the computer yourself and know how to access the save files. I know that that's very easy, but its normies we are dealing with here. It's just a lot more convenient for them if everything is already there on their gaming device.
>Phone
I agree, should have said 'But muh deck muh phone' instead of just 'muh deck' since I think the Home and online feature possibility is why normies want it.
You could just buy a chink portable emulator for like 20 bucks and have access to the entire libraries of shit from the Atari all the way to the N64 plus the PSP.
there's no point in playing the stadium games if you can only use rental mons. after a while the in game trainers have pokemon at levels higher than you have access to. the minigames are fun, but even still you have several mario party games on NSO
>tendies >emulate
lmao
It's probably because of some moronic excuse like "muh preservation" or whatever the frick. People act like games are like some sort of super duper important art pieces that must be kept on stores for their moronic ass to buy forever
Emulation even has achievements and leaderboards now, something Nintendo still refuses to do (or can't figure out). Frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if Nintendo has dementia or something.
31 years old here. I've been emulating for as long as I could get on a computer and it hasn't slowed down since. I know how to and can emulate pretty much whatever you can available to people right now. I have also had every single Nintendo system, most Sony, most Xbox, various others, etc.
Listen to me and listen close. You have to understand that, no matter how fricking smug or le...forever! you think emulation is, it can be swooped up faster than you think if they all decide to get together and say, "frick them." Regardless, whether you like it or not, we unironically live in a society that follows a semi-anachronistic-hyper capitalistic model of "we sell, you buy; that's how we live or die"
You and I and every other mongoloid on this board can emulate. More people can than ever. That does NOT mean that you should expect anything but the very best for your market choices as it is YOUR money.
The video game industry is embarrassing in terms of grotesque fandom. Why do so many people give a shit about video game companies? They need you; not the other way around. Quit fangirling for these faceless giants and start withholding your money.
Pirate out the ying yang. Teach your friends. Don't gatekeep. Quit buying games new or at all. At the end of the day, they have more resources and manpower than anyone hacking away at things on the internet in their spare time; even those paid to by Patreon's numbers pale in comparison to even one small studio owned by Sony or Nintendo or Microsoft or whomever.
If they were to, god FORBID, be forced to actually take a step back and earn back the gamer's dollar, you'd see some serious shit in terms of shiny new features and whistles and games unheard of in the greatest desires of the most wet dreamed capitalist.
bot thread
Emulation hits different.
Same game, different experience.
I can't answer as to why society has such a high percentage of b***hes b***hing though.
It doesn't
anon NSO is also emulation
It's official emulation so it's ok
At the very least all the systems run well (besides N64 which is fricking embarrassing)

Die please.
No it doesn't, I hate consoleplebs so goddamn much they're the absolute dumbest demographic in this industry, just below journos.

Why do people expect any of the mainline games going to NSO? Do they think TPCi would be okay with that?
The best part of Pokemon Stadium was using your own Pokemon, which is why it seems like a no-brainer
Newer games are fricking shit and your average normie doesn't know how to use pc emulators
Plus the expectation that they would have HOME support
@FBI
WE HAVE A PROBLEM
May you get caught!
how small is this guy? i could rape him easily in a video game
Portability + convenience
>But muh deck
More expensive, 0% chance of Home compatibility or having online features for trading/battling
Why would you need home compatibility when there are free software alternatives on PC for emulators?
>convenience
Also satiates the autists who want to 'legitimately' transfer over mons or shinies or whatever

Multiplayer?
>playing pokemon for the 4937393th time despite the formula not even changing since its conception
Pokegays deserve to get shot in the face
Better that than your series drifting away so much from the original appeal that it might as well have been a new IP

"tendies" emulate the most. It's why Nintendo emulators are ahead of every other emulator.
Emulation even has achievements and leaderboards now, something Nintendo still refuses to do (or can't figure out). Frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if Nintendo has dementia or something.
