>costs more than the PS5 itself
shocking
sorry but current VR is a PC peripheral for PC autists only.
Current VR doesn't require a PC you third world moron
t. one of the squeakers that play Meta Horizon Worlds
>the schizophrenic homosexual is back with articles from literal whos
Every time!
>don't buy this cheap OLED VR headset for your PCVR next month, you should buy the expensive one instead
>exclusively for vrgins
You should be good to go then, anon
didnt this thing come out like last year? they're already abandoning it?
>didnt this thing come out like last year? they're already abandoning it?
The whole VR fad has been forced by Facebook dumping billions into the trash.
Apple is failing with VR garbage, a company worth 30 times more than Sony, so you think Sony shitty VR will be something big?
They recently added a bunch of VR games to PS Plus, so it's looking like it.

No views, no comments, exposed pedophile that loves Xbox... interesting.

KWAB!
Unsupported novelty item that cost more than a console turns out to be unpopular. Next up on the news, is the sky blue??
as predicted, typical Questdrone cult member shitting on competing headsets
>p-please buy a quest 2
VR is terrible for entertainment because it's not convenient for the end user in almost any way.
At the moment, the applications for VR are purely industrial, and even in this case it's probably not the best alternative. I saw that harbor crane operators were training with VR somewhere, but it's probably not the best way to create a simulation environment anyway... they're probably using VR because it's cheaper, not because it's better.
I honestly think that VR will NEVER become convenient for the user who wants to be entertained, because apart from the problems like cost, technological limitations, the need for ample space, etc., there is also the inconvenience caused by human nature, and these are not surmountable. VR is largely incompatible with human nature. And that's why attempts always fail.
VR was killed by homosexual corpos. It was not ready for mainstream. It is niche and should be treated as such. In response every company raced to try to control a market that literally didn't exist, and corpotized it before there was even anything to milk. Now it's just that lame bland facebook garbage that you have no reason of participating in because it never got that chance to blossom outside of corporate eyes.
It sucks because it was cool technology, and I have bought probably 4 headsets at this point, but I'm just overall over it because the companies that influence it are all moronic.
VR is a pure meme for gaming. Once the novelty wears off, you will NEVER bother fricking around with the awkward ass headset.
>once the novelty wears off
>10 years later still playing it and every moment has been in VR
Fair enough, wienerpit simulators are one of the only VR experiences that isn't complete shit.
Only because game designers are part of the meme. VR has a bad case of the wiimote waggles because game devs are stupid autists. There is plenty of potential for utilizing VR for novel isometric games you control with a gamepad. Think RE CCT camera.
VR is just not and will never be worth the cost to most people. If you spend 300 dollars on a switch you get access to a huge number of games people want to play, and even buying just one of these games can provide hundreds of hours of entertainment. With VR, the games that exist are mostly short and usually not very good. So it's some silly gimmick you can play for a while and then put away....for 300 dollars.
>buying a søyitch to play troony games
>when you pirate everything easily
Not making a good case little tendie
I have a Quest 3
It's alright
I mostly use it for porn and watching tamers12345 in a simulated big screen
Fricking criminal to lock two of the best VR experiences behind your walled garden and then abandon it
>PSVR Wipeout Omega Collection
>PSVR2 Gran Turismo 7
man those two games are the only reason i even considered buying ps4/ps5 and psvr
Wipeout would be nice, but give me motor-storm apocalypse and Driveclub on PCVR any time.
>It's a sad, disappointing story that could have been so much better.
Not really. It was an extremely predictable result.
When you look at how long and how much they invested in VR other baffling decisions like no pc bb make a lot more sense. moronic C suite. Closer to NFT square man than one would like to imagine should be possible.
The first line is magical
>Until now, the PSVR 2 has been a pretty darn good VR headset.
>sci-fi larping bullshit turns out to not be profitable because you're literally strapping a monitor to your eyes and using shitty controls
most people who still use vr are kids, groomers, and gooners
