Why the frick is this game so hard?!?!? In b4 "git gud" "learn to play better" blah blah blah. You can level all you want and get all the special armor, rings, amulets and enhancements but in the end a game where a boss kills you literally in 2 hits is not fun, it's not challenging it's just trolling.

Yeah. The general rule of thumb for non-strength builds is 1 point in Strength, 1 point in vitality, and 3 points in main stat every even level, 2 points in vitality and 3 in main every odd level. If you find a piece of armor or something you NEED, dump strength for a level or two.
You can absolutely frick yourself over by doing shit Stat spending.

As soon as I port into his location he literally hits me twice and i'm done. It's horse shit, theres nothing challenging about making the SECOND fricking boss of the game so damn hard.
Drink thawing potions BEFORE you enter his room for the cold resist, dumpass.

Faster run/walk so you don't get hit. "Cannot Be Frozen" helps too if you cbf with the potions.
if you are playing a necro. decrepify is your best friend for bosses. it slows enemies down to a snails pace.
not him, but god damn does skele necro suck dick for bosses
the skellies are pretty damn strong normally and murder most of the enemies on every map, but bosses just 1 hit them with aoe's and you're left with nothing
I don't even remember how did I finish the game with the skelly necro before, and I don't see how would you do it on hell
Skeletons start getting beter later into the game, early game you dont have decrip and the skeletons are very squishy.

every action rpg is creatively bankrupt and can only make the game "challenging" if the enemies just 1 shot you. You will play this one style of gameplay where you dodge everything and you will enjoy doing that forever.
This right here. Either you facetank everything, taking no damage or you die in seconds. I wish these games were balanced better, but sometimes you do come across a decent fight. I think the fight with Diablo in Resurrected was somewhat well done. Even with max resistances he'd still chew through your HP, so you had to be on the move whenever he spewed lightning or set the ground on fire. You were in the risk of dying, but he doesn't one shot you from full health. Although that was only normal difficulty Diablo, so he might become the usual bullshit later on.

Just got a Hone Sundan on my HC bowazon's merc, he's kicking ass now. Didn't even upgrade it, in case I get a buriza or something. God bless crushing blow and ludicrous attack speed.
