If you have to use israelite semantics to "try" and prove your "point", then you have no point. They said it was a remake but they chose to change the plot through time travel, it's not a sequel it's just fricked up. Its not a remake or a remaster or a sequel, the correct term would be reimagining.
>Narrative hinges on events needing to play out like the OG >3 mooks at the final boss have the same weapons as the twinks from Advent Children >"Not a sequel"
moron.
I don't like how Tifa's reaction is the first indication that things are turning around for the better during that scene.
"What's that?"
Frick you, I wanted to see it before she reacted to it.
It would've been better that way. Game ruined.
FF7 was an original game made by a bunch of devs doing their best. FF7 remake is a remake so there already goes the excitement, but on top of that they basically dragged out entire storyline across a series of games to milk it for all its worth.
The original FFVII was one of the earlier 3D RPGs and was on a different storage medium (CDs), of which it had three. You can't really get that sense of size in current year (on the contrary, everything being digital or leaning towards digital makes everything feel kinda small). It was part of a new frontier, on top of being different from the previous FFs.
The remake is a soulless corporate project cash grab made by uninspired nerds with no passion or intelligence that don't even understand the source material they're supposed to be updating.
I mean, FFS they don't even comprehend Tifa's design was aquatic, dolphin or mermaid-like, with her hair specifically designed to appear like a fish tail whereas in the remake it's just a short braid. Even the fans are fricking homosexuals now that don't understand why the original was so good, trying to give Tifa short hair and covering up her perfect female body.
If they had to make their own original project these losers would fail every time.
It's not a remake, it's a sequel.
It’s not sequential, it’s a regay
It as sequential as Mortal Kombat 9 and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Calling it "Remake" was part of the plot twist though.

I turned off the game after that scene.
Well, for one, it was actually a complete game from the start
FF7 was an original game made by a bunch of devs doing their best. FF7 remake is a remake so there already goes the excitement, but on top of that they basically dragged out entire storyline across a series of games to milk it for all its worth.
Because the remake is not FF7. it's FF7 Part 4: Retcon time travel time
I don't fricking know the remake's not even finished yet
FF7 was never that good and just recently more people are realizing that
The OG FF7 was great, the compilation BS is just excessive animushit. No one asked for that.
trick, it's actually not more soulful.

The remake is basically the definition of ultra try hard AAA that is just an absolute utter waste in every single way
Because Nomura's homosexual little fingers are all over it.
Here's the thing, Nomura was the one that wanted the Remake to be faithful and NOT have time jannies
I do not believe that, especially if he said it
Why do people think Nomura only had major roles starting with KH when he's been a big player behind squares best games since the beginning.
Things got worse the more prominent he became
