Unfortunately I think all licensed games like this are done forever since they can just release moronic apps for phones that cost nothing, make more money, and achieve the marketing goal.
It wasnt really that bad quality wise even into the 20s. It gets noticeably bad in the late 20s but mostly because theres several episodes that are musicals. I guess the VAs get bored or something, but they are terrible.
There are actually a lot of good episodes in the late, late seasons. I expected it to all be terrible past season 10 or so and was pleasantly surprised.
The newest season 32 kinda sucks though due to VA changes imo.
All the black characters, and I believe they outright don't use Apu or Cookie Kwan anymore.
Hibbert is the worst for me. I like Kevin Michael Richardson but he does not do the Hibbert chuckle well at all.
Krabaple and the woman who did a lot of kids like Martin are both dead. They removed Edna but recast the kids.
The main cast largely hasn't changed, though Dan's voice is noticeably different and Julie sounds awful.
not really
the best thing they can do is a hit & run remake/remaster without adding shit from the new seasons, because that's exactly the issue: if they make a new different game then it's gonna full of unfunny references to the zombie simpsons era
Anyone ever play Virtual Springfield? It was a pretty boring click-a-scene style adventure game. I found it weirdly fun to play when I was younger but I look back at it now and wonder how that was ever the case. It did have a lot of little hidden references though, which was probably just enough to keep my playing.
Yep. Most notable change off the top of my head between the versions is that you can explore a Springfield hubworld in the PS3/X360 versions, but not in the other ones.
first you need a good simpsons show
brutal
Poor zoom zoom will never experience 90s soul so has to demean it all kek
The Simpsons was no longer good by the time that game came out
That game wasn't particularly good either, but freely driving around a city was still pretty novel at the time so it got a pass.
I don't think so breh.
I doubt there will ever be another proper simpsons game period. the mobile shit doesn't count
I just want a simpsons MMORPG
Wouldnt that be great? I can't possibly see that failing
relax moron

This. The cringe/kino era of the 2000's is no more.
No because nobody cares about the simpsons anymore.
I finished watching 32 seasons in a row 6 months ago. Ask me anything.
so how soul sucking was it to waste your time and brain cells past season 12

Any hidden gems?
Expectations vs reality?

Who’d they replace? Some of these voice actors must be hitting 70s or higher.

No there fricking aren't. Also Seasons 9 and 10 sucked
>Season 32
This show has gone on for way too long.
Don't say that word
sneed
>boomers still talking about a shitty show that had THREE decent season forty years ago
>MUH SOUL
Sad and pathetic
unironically had a better plot than the movie
not really

Will there ever be another good Simpsons season?
>Hit and run
>Good
Sure, if you like to do the same 6 missions over and over again, the only good thing in the game are the references.
No, its past his prime by decades

Why was the soundtrack so good?
This was the superior game and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't.
Never played this, but wasn't every different console version of this basically a different game?
