Yeah you're right, and the old graphics visually indicate oldness. But being the new thing people are talking about goes a long way as does ease of making short form videos with the content. They love posing as OGs for clout though, if OoT gets a true remake or a new game is made in that style they will flock.

I would say it's a decent investment anyway since limited edition Nintendo consoles always appreciate in value, but idk how true that will be for Switch Lites if the Switch 2 is a straight upgrade that is backwards compatible. Managed to sell my launch Switch recently for $180 since I only use my Lite these days, and I think nobody's going to want Switches once the new console releases.
I still have my launch switch and it works fine, I'm definitely hacking it once the Switch Advance comes out. The Zelda lite's appreciation all depends on how many they make which might not be that many since next gen starts next year

Yeah, or the sticks wearing out. But I haven't had any problems in almost 3 years. I mostly just play Pokemon though so it doesn't get too much wear and tear.
