They already have items to find everything. The Sensors find the Caskets while the Lootmapper finds all chests and Tidal Heritages that aren't hidden behind boxes or puzzles. Unless they integrate your save with their own interactive map in the future that's all we've got to work with, and 100% in a region extremely close to the actual 100% unlike Genshin which I don't think is going to be possible without an interactive map barring a lot of luck or doing a lawnmower pattern with hundreds of Sonar usables or the Lootmapper. I still have Jinzhou at 99% despite using an interactive map to keep track of what I find and I have no idea what quest gives me the last supply chest I supposedly missed there because the Lootmapper is showing nothing there and I'm not 100% sure if I got what I have on here or not.
Figured it out. It turns out the building where the armorer and synthesizer are have two different challenges. One for staying in the air or whatever and one for not climbing. I did one but not the other.

Photo mode is forced to be 720p, I don't think you can make it bigger. I changed everything in GameUserSettings.ini to be 1080p and it still saves at 720p.

You can get roughly enough for 150ish pulls give or take 10ish if you 100% the entire map, do all the current events, and do all the side quests you possibly can. I'm at 140ish limited pulls used according to the pull tracker with just Astrite (If I remember how much you could get for free right) and I have 4000ish Astrite on hand right now with less than a dozen time-gated side quests and the Alloy event still untouched.
You will also earn enough standard pulls from events + giveaways to guarantee both guaranteed 5*s and even throw some into the proper standard banners.
Not sure how many people know this but at the Tiger's Maw Mine there's a guy who trades Lampylumen from the mine for various upgrade materials including a weapon chest that gives you one of the craftable weapons. If I remember right the crafted broadblade is good if you're not buying the BP and have Calcharo, otherwise it's a toss up between the Rectifier or pistol depending on who you're using and your luck with 4* weapons.
It's like Genshin so 80 pulls is a 50/50, if you fail the 50/50 it's 160 pulls for a guarantee. We don't know if there's a point where the rates increase to get the 5* before you hit the 80 cap like in Genshin (In Genshin it's 90 guarantee and it ramps up starting from 70 if I remember right). If you have decent luck and win the 50/50 both times it's enough for both. If you have bad luck and fail then what you can get in 1.0 plus the 1.1 patch is enough for one guarantee and a 50/50 on the other.
Keep in mind that there's a chance you might just get lucky though, I lost my 50/50 on Yinlin and got her in 25 pulls after that.

Yep, system works the same. Weapon banner is better too because it's 80 to guarantee the limited weapon and all your pulls roll over to the next banner instead of doing the Fate Point stuff. The standard banner is also split into characters and weapons with you even being able to target a specific weapon so it's better to spend standard pulls on the weapon banner once you get past the guaranteed 5* standard character banners because you'll get standard characters from losing 50/50s but not weapons.

Doing the alloy smelt made me realize how weak I was. What am I doing wrong that the trial resonators are doing? I don't have echoes leveled but I'm lvl 60, I lvled up all my skills and my weapon is also lvl 60. Is there anything else I'm supposed to upgrade?

Yes, they are absurd. 5 stats in addition to the main stat they have. I went from dealing 300ish to 2000ish just with three 5*s with 3/5 of their substats being good.

I play it 95% of the time on PC. The times on phone are just when I want to log on and prevent energy from capping or knock off dailies. I'm so shit at playing on phone though the controls just feel jank, even overlord enemies I farm easily on PC without getting hit I eat shit constantly on phone.

At level 15, you'll have a chance of getting a 5-star echo when you kill monsters. At level 20, your chances of getting a 5-star echo is 80%. Very significant.

New character for 1.1. Free pulls? Not sure if Kuro is gonna give away 10 wishes, but you get a few hundred Astrite as downtime compensation.
When you level to 5, 10, and 15 you increases your chances of getting a higher tier rarity of Echo. So 5 unlocks blue, 10 unlocks purple, and 15 unlocks gold. You can also randomly get the highest tier when killing the enemies who give you achievements and have a red aura around them since I had a couple 5*s at level 40 due to that. Each tier of each Echo you get gives you 15 EXP meaning that each Echo you get gives 60 EXP total and I can't remember if initially getting the Echo also gives some EXP. If you do the beginner checklist in the Guidebook (The one with 6 levels) it also gives you 50 Data Bank EXP per clear.
So basically, you can decide to go collect Pokemon every time you see it upgrades the rarity to continue raising it (Since the first 10 or 15 levels give you stamina which is a good incentive), you can do it passively, or you can merge them once you hit 15 to maybe get 5*s easier.
Getting echoes you haven't gotten before and a higher rarity than what you've gotten. Getting gold, the highest, automatically gets you the points of the lower rarities.

FYI, the mine quest was a last minute addition. The original quest was a Danjin quest, which... got deleted for some reason? It was about her meeting an echo of her dead father. I'm not quite sure why it was deleted, from what I heard it wasn't a "frick you for being born" segment like with Awu, Sanhua or Chixia.
I mean, not once has the game had a writer that wanted to write an actual story. The original writer was a legit cuckgay and shipper that wrote a decent outline and proceeded to shit it up with MC abuse, something he had been fired for at a different company for, and was fired for again.
The next writer was told to make the game as waifu/husbando pandering as possible while trying to rewrite it, and also make the world less bleak for some reason. The new content has some ok stuff in it, new Scar is way better than old Scar, so the new writer may be able to salvage things.
It's random if they spawn but the rates seem fairly high. I've found three turtles already but none of the other ones available currently. Several guides I've seen also say shinies only seem to appear in some specific areas more than others, one example being the area below the Thunder Memphis I think it was? The one up top not underground. I don't think you can force it though.
You can check who has alternate appearances in your Data Bank and try hunting them if they're not a boss (I think bosses are from rewards/events only since the bird is from the roguelike mode and the ape is from the tower) but I wouldn't hold my breath personally.
I didn't care for Changli but I've gradually been converted. I got stringmaster "early" (70 pulls) so I have a little extra to roll for her with. Just hope I don't get terribly unlucky.
I don't understand why they don't just make the opposite MC a skin or a guaranteed beginner banner pull. It's the most basic idea imaginable yet neither Genshin nor WuWa do it. At least in Genshin you can argue they're gonna release the sibling as an Abyss element down the line with Dain, but in WuWa the other one doesn't exist at all.
Since the game is about vibrations and frequencies I don't see anything stopping them from adding the other at a later point in the story. Isn't it canon that you fight crownless twice in that cavern then again before dreamless?

Fighting Crownless at level 35 has been one of the coolest things I've seen in vidya.
Wuwa really makes you feel like you're playing an anime, the way you switch between characters with intro and outro skills and the parry system and whatnot, it's all A+.
Not sure if I keep playing this game for long, I like the combat gameplay and characters, at least in the sexo department, are pretty good, but beyond that the coming characters are not doing it enough for me to be really excited. The game still has too much QoL and mechanical shit bogging down the experience for no other reason than "Genshin did it", when it was already shit there too. Also a lot of people are under the impression there will be different regions with characters that aren't downgraded by the chinese aesthetics they double-tripled down on, but the lore in the game makes it seem like ALL the regions are just more not-china. I'd love this game if 1.1 was finally saying >frick genshit, clearly that didn't work out
and qol'ed the shit out of all systems, because looking at the combat and traversal they are very clearly capable of doing that. I haven't explored the northern map yet so idk about Dreamless but the other weekly bosses have their teleports right next to them. I think you can even fast travel directly to scar. Kuro doesn't exactly have talented writers (PGR's story sucks) so I'm not holding my breath, but maybe they can surprise us.

If you consider that gachas are the new MMOs, it's not really surprising that they don't need a good story to stay relevant. Copying botw's style and game design was a good idea, especially when the vast majority of mobile games had nonexistent gameplay. "It's good enough" is how a lot of MMOs survived for years until EoS and made millions in the process without even waifubaiting.

Some enemies are much weaker than others. Weak shit like the boars and dragonflies always melt but humans and bears are bullet sponges once you reach 60+.

Hunt down a CDMG main stat echo, use your morphables for two on-set ele% echoes then fill the last slots with 1-costs atk% of the same set. Don't forget to level your weapon too.

There's no reason to level any Echoes until you've unlocked 5* Echoes. Just equip anything with ATK%, CD, or CR as the main stat and is a higher tier. You're wasting your EXP mats and enemies still die in like one rotation. I only just started upgrading my Echoes after I hit 18 on the Data Bank (Technically 20). Upgrade your characters, weapons, and talents, those are the important part. The Echoes can wait a bit.

Yeah, nah. I leveled those suckers up the second I got blues and purples had more fun for it. Then used those echoes to level up the gold echoes faster and had a blast. Echoes should be leveled first and foremost alongside weapons. Everything else comes second.

If you're willing to do that then fine, but I saw no purpose in it. Like I said, even the tankiest enemies only survived roughly one rotation and maybe some on field time with the last character. As long as you upkeep your other weapons you will hit DB 15 fairly quickly and then you can go fill your Pokedex and work from there. Now that I have my characters kitted out with just three good 5*s that I've upgraded with okay substats I'm killing bosses in a single rotation. This isn't even five 5* Echoes, this is three on each character and you can see how absurd Encore is in particular with her damage. I do have Yinlin's 5* but the other two just have 4*s.

I have them all kitted out with at least three 5* echoes each that have 3/5 substats with decent ones. Yinlin has her 5* weapon at level 60, Encore has the Jinzhou Keeper at level 50, and Verina has the Variation at 50. Yinlin has everything but intro at 4 while the other two have everything important at 4 (So burst on Verina, Forte, skill, and burst on Encore). For Encore the Inferno Rider was the only thing I leveled fully outside of the bird to level 5 on Yinlin before getting 5*s because the Silver-Haired Echo Hunter quest forced me to.
Here's what I have and the stats I get from Echoes currently. Thundering Memphis was the one I got from that fight if I remember right so I didn't even have that.

Photo mode is forced to be 720p, I don't think you can make it bigger. I changed everything in GameUserSettings.ini to be 1080p and it still saves at 720p.

How much astrite can a fresh account get right now from all permanent content?
You can get roughly enough for 150ish pulls give or take 10ish if you 100% the entire map, do all the current events, and do all the side quests you possibly can. I'm at 140ish limited pulls used according to the pull tracker with just Astrite (If I remember how much you could get for free right) and I have 4000ish Astrite on hand right now with less than a dozen time-gated side quests and the Alloy event still untouched.
You will also earn enough standard pulls from events + giveaways to guarantee both guaranteed 5*s and even throw some into the proper standard banners.
would that be enough to get both of the 1.1 qts if I started now or is that still gonna require some serious luck?
Not sure how many people know this but at the Tiger's Maw Mine there's a guy who trades Lampylumen from the mine for various upgrade materials including a weapon chest that gives you one of the craftable weapons. If I remember right the crafted broadblade is good if you're not buying the BP and have Calcharo, otherwise it's a toss up between the Rectifier or pistol depending on who you're using and your luck with 4* weapons.
It's like Genshin so 80 pulls is a 50/50, if you fail the 50/50 it's 160 pulls for a guarantee. We don't know if there's a point where the rates increase to get the 5* before you hit the 80 cap like in Genshin (In Genshin it's 90 guarantee and it ramps up starting from 70 if I remember right). If you have decent luck and win the 50/50 both times it's enough for both. If you have bad luck and fail then what you can get in 1.0 plus the 1.1 patch is enough for one guarantee and a 50/50 on the other.
Keep in mind that there's a chance you might just get lucky though, I lost my 50/50 on Yinlin and got her in 25 pulls after that.

Yep, system works the same. Weapon banner is better too because it's 80 to guarantee the limited weapon and all your pulls roll over to the next banner instead of doing the Fate Point stuff. The standard banner is also split into characters and weapons with you even being able to target a specific weapon so it's better to spend standard pulls on the weapon banner once you get past the guaranteed 5* standard character banners because you'll get standard characters from losing 50/50s but not weapons.

Yes, they are absurd. 5 stats in addition to the main stat they have. I went from dealing 300ish to 2000ish just with three 5*s with 3/5 of their substats being good.

I play it 95% of the time on PC. The times on phone are just when I want to log on and prevent energy from capping or knock off dailies. I'm so shit at playing on phone though the controls just feel jank, even overlord enemies I farm easily on PC without getting hit I eat shit constantly on phone.

Bad idea because you'll eventually end up bumping into enemies who are immune to the element. 2 elements in a team should be okay.
What actually lvls up the databank? Is it the number of echoes or do I have to hunt down every echo in the game?
At level 15, you'll have a chance of getting a 5-star echo when you kill monsters. At level 20, your chances of getting a 5-star echo is 80%. Very significant.
New character for 1.1. Free pulls? Not sure if Kuro is gonna give away 10 wishes, but you get a few hundred Astrite as downtime compensation.
When you level to 5, 10, and 15 you increases your chances of getting a higher tier rarity of Echo. So 5 unlocks blue, 10 unlocks purple, and 15 unlocks gold. You can also randomly get the highest tier when killing the enemies who give you achievements and have a red aura around them since I had a couple 5*s at level 40 due to that. Each tier of each Echo you get gives you 15 EXP meaning that each Echo you get gives 60 EXP total and I can't remember if initially getting the Echo also gives some EXP. If you do the beginner checklist in the Guidebook (The one with 6 levels) it also gives you 50 Data Bank EXP per clear.
So basically, you can decide to go collect Pokemon every time you see it upgrades the rarity to continue raising it (Since the first 10 or 15 levels give you stamina which is a good incentive), you can do it passively, or you can merge them once you hit 15 to maybe get 5*s easier.
Getting echoes you haven't gotten before and a higher rarity than what you've gotten. Getting gold, the highest, automatically gets you the points of the lower rarities.

I'm not quite sure why it was deleted, from what I heard it wasn't a "frick you for being born" segment like with Awu, Sanhua or Chixia.

I mean, not once has the game had a writer that wanted to write an actual story. The original writer was a legit cuckgay and shipper that wrote a decent outline and proceeded to shit it up with MC abuse, something he had been fired for at a different company for, and was fired for again.
The next writer was told to make the game as waifu/husbando pandering as possible while trying to rewrite it, and also make the world less bleak for some reason. The new content has some ok stuff in it, new Scar is way better than old Scar, so the new writer may be able to salvage things.

Has anyone tried shiny hunting before?
It's random if they spawn but the rates seem fairly high. I've found three turtles already but none of the other ones available currently. Several guides I've seen also say shinies only seem to appear in some specific areas more than others, one example being the area below the Thunder Memphis I think it was? The one up top not underground. I don't think you can force it though.
You can check who has alternate appearances in your Data Bank and try hunting them if they're not a boss (I think bosses are from rewards/events only since the bird is from the roguelike mode and the ape is from the tower) but I wouldn't hold my breath personally.

Not sure if I keep playing this game for long, I like the combat gameplay and characters, at least in the sexo department, are pretty good, but beyond that the coming characters are not doing it enough for me to be really excited. The game still has too much QoL and mechanical shit bogging down the experience for no other reason than "Genshin did it", when it was already shit there too. Also a lot of people are under the impression there will be different regions with characters that aren't downgraded by the chinese aesthetics they double-tripled down on, but the lore in the game makes it seem like ALL the regions are just more not-china. I'd love this game if 1.1 was finally saying

What do you mean? The world bosses? If you open your menu or open the map for like 60 seconds they respawn right on top of you. Had this happen many times while I was looking at the map for a place to teleport. I guess a QoL thing could be added though.

I haven't explored the northern map yet so idk about Dreamless but the other weekly bosses have their teleports right next to them. I think you can even fast travel directly to scar. All the other world bosses, except inferno rider, have teleports directly to the front of the boss room.

Yeah this seems like a "genshin did it!" thing but you can always just fast travel to jinzhou and use grapple points to get there quickly.

i just hope the new writers can fix that trainwreck of a story somehow, it shouldnt be too hard, its not too late yet. i dont care much about gacha stories but i do need some bare minimum immersion for me to be able to give a flying frick about anything, its a driving force to make me keep playing the game. you should always be in it for the long run, simple gameplay, while fun cannot appease that by itself.
The setting is interesting if they only had the time to flesh it out more. It's vaguely inspired by the Book of the New Sun mixed with the regular Buddhist mysticism and some Xanxia thrown in. Kuro doesn't exactly have talented writers (PGR's story sucks) so I'm not holding my breath, but maybe they can surprise us.

Genshin blew up because it was the first game like that and had amazing art design. The story was always shit and even after "it got good", the "good" parts is just character interactions and waifu baiting, rather than the events themselves.
If you consider that gachas are the new MMOs, it's not really surprising that they don't need a good story to stay relevant. Copying botw's style and game design was a good idea, especially when the vast majority of mobile games had nonexistent gameplay. "It's good enough" is how a lot of MMOs survived for years until EoS and made millions in the process without even waifubaiting.

Most shit in the overworld dies to one Encore E and a few basics. Almost never press her ult button because shit just kinda fricking melts.
Some enemies are much weaker than others. Weak shit like the boars and dragonflies always melt but humans and bears are bullet sponges once you reach 60+.
Nah they still die. I literally went to kill the Bell turtle today for a daily and died to a single Encore ult.

Yes? Literally all your power comes from the echoes and it's what you should have been doing in the 30~40 stretch.
Hunt down a CDMG main stat echo, use your morphables for two on-set ele% echoes then fill the last slots with 1-costs atk% of the same set. Don't forget to level your weapon too.

cdmg is only good if you have a crit rate weapon and can comfortably hit like 60~ crit rate without the crit rate echo

There's no reason to level any Echoes until you've unlocked 5* Echoes. Just equip anything with ATK%, CD, or CR as the main stat and is a higher tier. You're wasting your EXP mats and enemies still die in like one rotation. I only just started upgrading my Echoes after I hit 18 on the Data Bank (Technically 20). Upgrade your characters, weapons, and talents, those are the important part. The Echoes can wait a bit.
Yeah, nah. I leveled those suckers up the second I got blues and purples had more fun for it. Then used those echoes to level up the gold echoes faster and had a blast. Echoes should be leveled first and foremost alongside weapons. Everything else comes second.
If you're willing to do that then fine, but I saw no purpose in it. Like I said, even the tankiest enemies only survived roughly one rotation and maybe some on field time with the last character. As long as you upkeep your other weapons you will hit DB 15 fairly quickly and then you can go fill your Pokedex and work from there. Now that I have my characters kitted out with just three good 5*s that I've upgraded with okay substats I'm killing bosses in a single rotation. This isn't even five 5* Echoes, this is three on each character and you can see how absurd Encore is in particular with her damage. I do have Yinlin's 5* but the other two just have 4*s.
You're saying you have Yinlin's 5* weapon and 3 good 5* echoes on her or 1 good 5* echo on each character?
I have them all kitted out with at least three 5* echoes each that have 3/5 substats with decent ones. Yinlin has her 5* weapon at level 60, Encore has the Jinzhou Keeper at level 50, and Verina has the Variation at 50. Yinlin has everything but intro at 4 while the other two have everything important at 4 (So burst on Verina, Forte, skill, and burst on Encore). For Encore the Inferno Rider was the only thing I leveled fully outside of the bird to level 5 on Yinlin before getting 5*s because the Silver-Haired Echo Hunter quest forced me to.
Here's what I have and the stats I get from Echoes currently. Thundering Memphis was the one I got from that fight if I remember right so I didn't even have that.
I haven't been leveling them because the currency is rare and they're supposed to be reducing the cost.
