Probably helps that xcloud is releasing tomorrow in Japan, where a service like that would actually work near flawlessly.
I'm surprised it hasn't been a big success in the rest of the world, to be honest. It's the cheapest option by far, it can play all the same games, and game pass is a bargain. I thought it was going to be bigger hit with the casuals.
The SeS and SeX are definitely pacing ahead of where the xbone was at by this point but the stigma still hangs over the brand.
Also, there were essentially zero notable exclusives available on the platform until this fall, and even then it’s just Forza and Halo. It won’t be until next year that you start to see some significant new release from all those acquisitions.

I saw someone pick up a PS5 from gamestop today and the box for it is huge, larger than a milk crate. I can see why Japs would hate it, they don't like owning systems that aren't small with a minimalistic design. A lot of them probably tuck an xbox behind the tv in their home so they can hide their gaming habbits from their families and work colleagues.
Amazon JP is not a reliable source, not many people buy from there and it's mostly used by migrants.
