I had a bad feeling about the castle but it worked out okay, and now the group has a big tiddy mommy to boss them around. Things went better than expected bros
Can someone explain to me why Noah weapon suddenly become a robotic arm whenever he unsheathed the sword. No one take notice and it's not even explain in the damn story.
I don't really get how the blades work in this universe. Seens everyone is born with a weapon that they can call out at will and are stuck with those weapons for life. Noah was shown having a regular sword like everyone else that has swords. Riku had this glorious nopon steel sword and gave it to Noah and it just...became his new bounded sword for some reason? Why doesn't everyone else just get stronger weapons if it's this easy to change yours?
Blades seem to be customizable in universe. The thing that truly separate them from conventional weaponry is their ability to steal lifeforce.
Remember its a series where the "magic" is super science fueled, so having a summonable blade being customizable or augmentable is not surprising at all.
Shania also has a scene where she summons her sister's gun. Either she was just mimicking the other gun's appearance, or this universe's blades really are inheritable somehow.
people do change their Blades, there's people in the City that talk about it
most people don't change because it takes time to get good with one and if you're changing all the time you'll be shit with all of them, and the Kevesi and Agnians only have ten years so they can't afford to be fricking around with that kind of thing
If you think about it, Noah using his true power is kinda similar to Cammuravi
Except instead of an elemental power, he gets a meld with a machine because his civilization is a meld of machines and humans instead of humans and Blades.
I don't think the exact reason is ever stated, so it's mostly used as a rule of cool, like him blocking a main fricking cannon of the colony with it.
You should also realize through it that Noah holds back 95% of the time. He is ridiculously strong and genuinely dislikes fighting.
>You should also realize through it that Noah holds back 95% of the time. He is ridiculously strong and genuinely dislikes fighting.
People reacting to him throwing his sword away in the end is always funny to me
Like, he never liked having to use that sword
His whole character was fighting just by necessity
Yes, the relationship between shulk and monado to noah and lucky seven is totally different
Even if they both used them to save the world noah was forced to use it to kill people since childhood
>only just put together that one of the founder statues is adult chad Rex, the description of his personality even matches and he's said to have wielded two swords at the same time
None of the founders are anyone we know, but the two mentors who had statues made of them in the place of two of the founders are adult Rex and Shulk
Go read the descriptions on the mentor plaques again
Another doubt, which may be a bit silly, but how is it possible that there are 2 Noah's? The fact that N is a Mobius does not prevent another Noah from appearing? Maybe I missed something or my low IQ didn't understand the explanation of the cycle.
Z magic
the game took all the shortcuts it could and makes absolutely zero sense within its own world.
Shame because they tried real hard in 1&2 to keep things coherent and if you listen& watch carefully most things are foreshadowed and indirectly explained.
3 is easily the game that feels like there is big pieces missing from the main story
Riku, origin, founders
All that screams "we will explain to you in the dlc"
i mean, both 1 and 2 have HUGE mystery that was never explained (until way later) >1’s Conduit didnt actually exist as a plot device, and Zanza was just “a mad scientist that somehow got the power to frick the world up with an experiment”. Granted the “explanation” in 2 was a retcon of sort >2’s background on the conduit, the beanstalk, what was happening that pushed Klaus toward the destruction of the world was only explained on the fricking packaging of the Siren figure
and then theres X with the giant sequelbait
Sure, but those misteries are more on a macro level
3 is filled with small gaps that are missing even if we know the whole plot on a macro level now
It is a big change on how they did the previous games
>>1’s Conduit didnt actually exist as a plot device, and Zanza was just “a mad scientist that somehow got the power to frick the world up with an experiment”. Granted the “explanation” in 2 was a retcon of sort
Cool how after 1 not being a massive failure takahashi probably had the epiphany of : "Wait, will i be able to tell that story this time?"
So he did some changes in order to make 1 fit more
I agree to an extent.
But not about founders. The founders aren't really all that important to the grand story here.
What is important is Riku (which shouldn't be too hard to explain) and Origin (which was explained very badly). With the way it looked, the entirety of the game was undone; but it was not. People just get confused because Origin is shittily explained
Also explain if the worlds merged/will merge in the end. Because that's something that is left too vague and results in people feeling unsatisfied.
Yes, i didnt say that in a way of thinking how the game has big holes in the narrative
But it is the one they hint the most of "maybe we will explain this to you in the dlc"
That final boss as real dumb
spoiler
Since takahashi somehow thinks this is a conclusion to the blade saga, the only way forward for Xeno now is either prequels to Klaus shit going for a more futuristic Saga vibe.
Or unrelated sequels in each world getting their own entry?
Also I smell like a Xenoblade 2 DE in the work when you look at the updated Poppi model /Nia's leggings/photo at least to properly implement the Torna cutscenes in the main game.
>conclusion
Source? Hope they do X2 anyway or take the series in a new direction. Walking in the same environments and fighting the same monsters is getting kinda boring
The biggest disappointment with this game was the villain. Man, they really sucked. The music wasn't quite as good as 1 or 2 either. I think it had the strongest cast and best battle system though.
Dropped the game during the prison segment the other day. Does it get any better? The awful to control boat got old pretty quickly, so the awe of boating got old fast.
>deleting your own post to pretend that mods are stopping people from criticizing the game while whole threads of literal lies and shitposts go untouched
Yes.
Anyway, the real problem with overleveling isn't that it makes the game easy, it's the interaction with the class unlock system.
Why the spark even is there this extra step between getting the class from a hero and leveling up the class?
The real overlevel trap isnt bonus XP, its chain attack overkills on bosses. If you spend too much time trying to make number go big you might suddenly find yourself gaining 6 levels in 3 fights.
You guys think you would have been able to make it up to Homecoming in the 1000+ years you had to try? Seems like you not only have to be godtier in the battlefield, but also get lucky with your colony assignment.
I also feel like some consuls would kill you just to see you again next time
There is a flashback with crys where a consul talks how making a dude have his homecoming was a waste
>be combatant >a stray bullet hits you >be salvager >accident-ed into Gonzales cave >be supply manager >get a heart attack from being so angry at those incompetent fricks
eh id be a nopon
You have to be excellent, but be grouped with a bunch of shitters since you lose if your colony hits Gold rank. They can't be too shitty though, or they'll drag you to your death with their incompetence.
The fact that there's only been a thousand Agnus Homecomings in all the years the war has been going on says it all really.
The ranking is a Scam, you're motivated with better awards to make your flame clock shine and once you've reached Gold Tier there's nothing else to work for so the entire colony is harvested by Moebius and those ideal solders are worked back into the flow to be recycled into other colonies.
>get born into Silver rank colony >after years of hard work, finally hit Gold >get executed by some chubby little fat kid in a mask who makes mud clones of all your dead friends
Attacker = if they're used first then you get 25% for their turn
Defender = if used last and you reach 100-149% then the next order will bring back the character with the highest TP, 150-199% is the 2 highest TP characters, and 200%+ is the 3 highest.
Healer = cannot go above 99%
Heroes don't follow any of the above and all have different rules. You may see a Hero with healer but that doesn't mean they stop at 99%. A hero like Valid instead gets 50+tp when you're fighting a mechanical enemy.
yeah the perks are pretty important, they also last the entire chain attack so if you pick taion in round 1 for example the enemy will have reduced physical defense for the entire chain attack
also a minor tip but the bonus you get from matching roles is very important, if you pick an attacker type order like noah or sena any attacker that attacks in during that round will gain a +10 tp bonus, this also applies to the other two roles and it can be very helpful to know
2 years ago
Anonymous
You also get a bonus for picking the same (story based not class based) faction. Taion is also way better as a DPS instead of a canon healer and Sena is better as a healer instead of her DPS canon... If you care about chain attacks solely that is.
the orders are effects applied after you successfully fill the gauge in the round
ex: >pick Taion's which reduces enemy's physical defense by 35%. during the chain attack >attack with party members until gauge hits > 100% >Taion does his attack order >next round the enemy's physical defenses are lowered by 35%
asoasf until you are out of rounds
Anonymous
it actually applies just before the character does their special
big number = good
attackers give big numbers when they attack first
healers cap gauge at 99
use defenders last to bring back the unit with the highest TP in the next round
These are the basics. Read the orders and experiment
To add on to what the others said, you can choose three orders normally before the chain gauge empties. A Hero's order doesn't consume the chain gauge so you can use four orders in one chain if you include them. There's a Hero that can let you get a fifth order if you use them in the chain.
I also feel like this kind of plot works more with these characters because they dont even think of the concept of clones being a thing
Sure N looks like noah, but why would they think of them being their previous version, the concept of city is foreign for them
Can someone tell me why Noah and Mio exist if N and M existed? Did Z just decide to magic them into existence? They briefly glossed over it as them being like the ambitions of their former selves but is that it? No real answers except anime shit?
It wasnt really that explained, could be explored more on dlc
But some people think that n and m became so different that they pratically became another separated beings
Most of the complex questions don't really have fitting answers. View the story in broad strokes because if you want answers to the specific details none of anything makes sense.
Walk > cutscene > battle > cutscene > battle > cutscene > cutscene > cutscene with music > do you want to save? > cutscene > battle > cutscene > battle > cutscene > do you want to rest? > cutscene > walk for a bit > cutscene
Why? also i cut mio hair
It's awful. Talk to the question marks on the map and they'll give you some of the items.
The worst is yet to come though. Hope you like a boss rush and an hours' worth of cutscenes coming up.
The map auto completes if you get all landmarks. Now, if you're a massive fricking moronic autist that insists on maping the entire map before finding all landmarks, then it'd probably take over 20 hours, specially due to the small ass reveal radius on the boat. There's also a secret huge area where you're forced to swim around, mapping that shit alone would drive anyone insane.
That's right anon. Now stop moving back and forth on your boat with the R3 map on the screen and actually go back to playing the game. I wasted like 3 hours trying to make the map pretty until I raged and found about that online
does the main cast ever comment on noah’s obsession with mio? like ‘haha wow they sure became such close friends’ because they don’t understand what romance is
>How many times did you already frick Noah, Mio? >Jeez idk, how many loaves of bread have you eaten?
Damn how did they get away with this line? Mio was the smug one not Noah
Can you re-recruit Ethel without aging her up in the growth pod? I just assumed not, so I went ahead and did it, but if it is possible to keep her that way then I have made a terrible mistake
No matter how many battles i fight with Isurd in my party, nobody seems to be progressing in being able to use the Strategos class (except Taion obviously). Am I missing something?
if you're grossly overleveled for the area, fights give jackshit CP
overkilling a rare around your level should give instant visible progress
No matter how many battles i fight with Isurd in my party, nobody seems to be progressing in being able to use the Strategos class (except Taion obviously). Am I missing something?
You have to fight enemies of equal or higher level. Fight blue/elite enemies that are 1 or more levels higher and get an XP boost chain attack and you will get them unlocked extremely quickly. (Never level up with rested XP in the entire playthrough of the game. It actually fricks you over)
Are there sound files anywhere? I want to make a video of the cast eating at some place but lanz burger doesnt have a lot of meat so they go to arbys instead
Imagine all the sex they must have had. And she remembers all of it. You know she must know exactly what makes that wiener twitch. I mean, imagine going from not knowing about sex to knowing everything in like a week and knowing you did probably every fetish and position known to man. I mean they have been fricking for a 1000 years.
>that quest where you discover Gray is fricking married >his wife is extremely cute, a lot younger than him and enables his autism >she tells him to take off his mask around his friends >he does
I don't care about the criticisms people have been throwing around, the character writing alone is reason enough for me to love this game
to be honest even the moronic ones are still funny like the quest with the moronic tirkins who couldn't fricking count or any quest involving triton's senile old ass
I have so many questions about colony Mu. What even was their commanders motivation? Why would anyone create a colony of just little girls to fight wars? How did they make it into the game?
Does anyone have all these idea's for builds they eventually will do but then spend the whole game just leveling classes so you never actually do any of those ideas and just work with whatever the game auto equips to whatever class you happen to be currently leveling?
i don’t really care so much about the flaming wiener so much as the irrelevance to the story. i’d happily watch her get speared five times over if she was actually important to the plot
How the frick do I unlock Alexandria's ascension quest? I only have 3 Colony Iota goods left and I can't get rid of them because everyone in the collectopaedia wants more than that.
>Nia friendzone memes for years >Nia has a daughter with Rex >Her daughter is so loved that fate makes her inseparable from her lover >Even hers loved would sell his soul to the devil for her
Pretty funny Takahashi, pretty funny...
>bait players with Ethel on the trailers >she's actually irrelevant to the story and pretty much made to bait fanfic writers and teenager fanartists in Twitter
Thanks Takahashi, very cool.
they already forgot about it in the very next consul fight
i guess it isn’t very heroic to fight with mindjacking, even if it gives you an enormous advantage
Is there a way to make it so that when you change a character's class the accessories and gems don't get randomly switched? Tired of having to put back their equipments.
It only "randomly" gets switched the first time you use that class
If you switch away and back to a class later, it will still be set up the way you had it, unless you don't have enough accessory copies to reequip your old set up.
I know because when I went back to an early game class to level from 10 to 20, I only had two accessories equipped, because the last time I used that class I didn't have the third slot yet.
>Spend the entire time wondering where that rival squad of trainees we saw in the flashbacks ended up >Was expecting one of them to at least become a Hero character >Lanz' side story reveals that the squad, outside of Kite who went to Colony 9 with Noah and the guys, ate shit shortly after their deployment to their own colony
He secretly was regretful over what he did and trying to break Noah into doing the same to prove he was right to do it, also why he's so keen on breaking everyone's hope
The villians are the only big weakpoint in this game for me. Especially coming from a series with goats like Egil, Jin, Malos, Amalthus and Zanza. N was cool but he was really it
Zanza gets better once you meet Klaus. He's also at least consistently entertaining and menacing. Z was just really boring and never seems to threaten the party at all
>zanza
he's on the same level as Z for me
adam howden carried him hard
Zanza does get a lot of shit done in the short time he appears >Kills Meyneth >Destroys the Mechonis >Telethias all pure High Entia
Z sits on his ass, and Torna tries to stop the party for most of the game and fails, only really successfully capturing Pyra once.
>Z sits on his ass
Which is sort of fine with his role as the Origin's arbiter. Sure, it doesn't exactly make him the most exciting in terms of story exposure, but it's not like villains who gain most of their story development towards the end of the story progress are any worse then those that show their face constantly.

They absolutely, unequivocally are.

You're kidding, right? You can't just imagine that every story works better with an Anti-Villain spouting gospel and apparently cosmic horrors or villains who have been longer term masterminds shouldn't exist either. To me, there are plenty of good villains of all archetypes, but 2 really went overboard with it's weird spiel of trying to create some grand plot behind it's villains, only to have it fall flat on it's face at the very point where the role of the villain matters: Fleshing out the worldbuilding and the events of the game more then just popping up occasionally to steal your girl or otherwise deliver monologues about how life is shit and everything needs to die.
It could work, if the setting wasn't so heavily invested in trying to sell off it's good points as retrograde snippets, but it just happens to be like that, so it's not like i can change people's minds about it.
True.
The issue is that unlike 1/2 most of the villains were just there...
Like even the weakest villains in 1, like Lorithia at least had some connection to the party even if she was lame.
2 had Torna and Amalthus having tons of history with Pyra/Mythra.
3 has... N who is great. But then there is everyone else... P, O, K all have no real history with the party. D has some with Eunie but that's resolved in a single fight. They try with J but he overstays his welcome. They try with Shania and Sena being similar, but not really... so the villains outside of N feel like they have no real purpose.
IMO they should have resolved J's plotline at the annihilator and killed of D and J there. Then they should've started making Crys more important.
>2 had Torna and Amalthus having tons of history with Pyra/Mythra.
Yeah and you know why it was so hard to give a shit? Because the real development between any and all of the events that happened in the past didn't really get fleshed out well until Torna came out. In terms of villains i was pretty disappointed in 2 solely because lots of the villains, their motivations and personality was buried under a sea of "Hey! Remember what happened 500 years ago!" The Torna DLC did a great job at straightening that shit across the board, but it still doesn't magically make a retrograde narrative enjoyable.
I actually have the reverse opinion. I thought they conveyed all the motivations pretty neatly in base game and Torna was a little superfluous.
Torna was good for Mythra, Haze and Addam but we didn't learn anything about Jin, Malos or Amalthus we didn't already know with a little bit of nuance reading.
>I thought they conveyed all the motivations pretty neatly in base game
Motivations mostly just work as the baseline for building your villains into story beats, you could build the coolest fricking villain of all time, but placing him into a setting where it's more fun to watch paint dry isn't going to do any of them favours. This was pretty much the entirety of 2's problem with it's worldbuilding. There's so much esoteric jargon bullshit that gets mentioned in the story, but then never gets brought up again, or in the case of Torna really gets some fleshing in the story expansion. Even then the whole XC2 saga left me just constantly asking: "What is it about this setting that people love so much?", because the one thing the world building and storytelling was constantly missing was a set of functional beats that weren't just a bunch of tangled half-explanations or questions left hanging in the air for the player to then try to decipher whether they have any meaning in the larger scheme of things. The original game and 3 work, because their stories do not frontload their characters to a retrograde bubble where you have to guess whether they have any relevance to anythng.
Zanza himself isn't that great even with Klaus. His background is more fleshed out which is nice, but it doesn't stop him from being lame as frick in XC1 itself.
I really doubt the DLC will do anything to fix Z.
There's one missing consul in the game; there's no consul A. I'm expecting them to be the DLC's antagonist.
>Mio is Nia and Rex's son >Cammuravi could be Rex and Pyras son, no lore but is possible, that said not that important
Hmm I wonder what Mythra might want to name her son. Maybe Addam
>Addam becomes the first human Moebius after an experiment by Y >proceeds to kill his Dad and brother, as well as the other core founders >ultimately defeated by Noah and Mio
>riku mentions lucky seven in prison >breaks everyone out and unwittingly takes M with him >save the world in a month while M is having the time of her life, the little she has left >meanwhile Mio is being mindbroken on N’s wiener as he fumes about how they escaped
Seraph can set quickdraw as a master art, and FMJ can set the flamelord as a master art if you want attacker classes with two front positionals. Ogre and Martial artist also have a front attack but are weaker classes.
Attackers should always be sitting on the side so that they can use flashback or glittering stream to inflict break.
The chapter 5 finale and all of chapter 6 is the best Xeno has ever been. It's non stop kino until you breach origin.
Shame they couldn't stick the landing
So... how does Z select which people to turn into moebius? I thought the game would provide some sort of explanation as to how Joran became moebius but he just dies instead.
I think for J it was specifically to break Noah again because despite becoming Moebius he stayed in the cycle and was always the only looming threat. Same with C.
>I think for J it was specifically to break Noah again
The first cutscene with the consuls after D gets back from killing Vandham it shows that he was fused with J. It's just a coincidence that Joran was already Moebius before the start of the story.
i'm planning to use noah unlimited sword talent art
I think Defender lucky seven might charge a bit faster. It's weaker than Attacker lucky seven but it can reliably activate the lucky seven talent art twice in the time limited. The invincibility buff on Defender lucky seven is also ridiculously strong.
Support lucky seven is awful, don't even bother with that one.
Get flash fencer to rank 20 so that the passive fills your talent meter fully at the start of a fight. Then you can run into areas 50 levels higher than you, activate lucky seven and try to trigger attacker lucky seven's chance to instant kill regular/elite enemies with every single hit before the initial invincibility runs out.
Although the game doesn't give you any bonus xp for being underleveled.
Maybe N does it or requests it but that would have to say n knew Noah and mio would be there again but that would make no sense, the game really just doesn't care to explain all that which is unfortunate
Why wouldn't it make sense that he knew Noah and Mio would be there again?
One thing I am confused about though is, if moebius don't age, why does the party make specific note of the fact that K is wrinkled like Guernica? Wouldn't that mean that he was a resident of the City who turned Moebius, even though the City exists outside the cycle?
Sure, but I was under the impression that to become Moebius you had to be in the cycle to begin with. My understanding of it was >you die >Z chooses you as a moebius candidate and gives you the option of either re-entering the cycle or living forever
So wouldn't that disqualify people from the City, who aren't reincarnated?
The cycle rules seem inconsistent when you factor in N and M, especially since we also see a previous Noah and Mio graduate even though that's supposed to take them out of the cycle.
Then again that might just not apply to Ouroboros
Z makes a comment about how Noah keeps coming back i think in the cutscene where he makes him a moebius. As you say, they keep coming back even when they reached 10 years and another version of them appeared again even though their moebius forms existed. There’s clearly some greater will or some shit to do with origin or something that just keeps bringing Noah and Mio back
>that look of confusion becoming one of abject horror as he looks back and forth between them, gears turning in his head, as he realizes what just happened
It would be sad if it wasn't so fricking funny (and cathartic after the hour of despair-inducing cutscenes he just made us endure)
It's really hard to feel sympathy for N given how much of an unhinged schizo he was and the fact that he sold the souls of both him and his wife to eldritch Fear Satan. Oh, and torturing his younger (clone) self to try and validate his garbage choices.
>cool fight
Literally happens in the same string of cutscenes when N waxes the whole party and they fight among themselves due to M.
An emotional capoff fits much better than yet another anime battle when there's already been two. Just outing yourself as no-patience zoomer.
>""emotional capoff"
nonsensical cutscene where the villain just stands around witlessly so (you) can have your bull fantasy moment and feel just like the winner you are (in the game world)
This is one of the things that really soured me to the last chapter. The fact that you fight X and Y in identical rooms and that they don’t have anything meaningful to say or do after you beat them felt like the devs just admitting that the villains in this game were afterthoughts
I want to agree because I’m really attached to the 2 cast and I felt the final act in that game was much better. But 3 has been out for only a week and there are plenty of things about it that I think it does better than 2. I don’t feel good about making a firm judgment until I can think about it longer.
I loved 2 so much but I feel that 3 highs are just on a whole other level. The main characters really feel human.
If 2 had as good character writing and interactions as 3 has, it would've been the best JRPG ever made, no joke.
I definitely liked 3 more.
Like, the conversation at the end of Maktha when Mio has this small breakdown.
She has so little time left, but then suddenly the party is getting sidetracked going to some unrelated place, which may even put everyone on the party in danger.
She knows they can't just let the people of Colony 4 die but she also wants to make use of most of the time she has left. They aren't even sure if reaching Swordmarch will give a solution to their limited lifespans so she ends up having a breakdown.
In the end she accepts to go with Noah because she knows it's the right thing to do even if it means wasting time.
This moment is when it really hits her that Noah and the rest are going to outlive her so that's why she decides to trade flutes with him.
I think it was a really good scene overall.
In any other game this internal conflict of the main heroine wouldn't even be glossed over and she would just blindly agree with whatever MC said like a doormat.
Wow I wanna play whatever game that picture is and not Bladetrash #323598302 generic anime (tm) edition with a side of Takahackshi rehashing Xenogears because we can't make actual good original games anymore
Anybody else have fights just end abruptly without you sheathing your weapon? I've had that happens on several occasions and it feels like a glitch more than anything.
I think there are people who forget that the consuls see the people of Keves and Agnus as pure cattle and circus animals and have been doing that for god knows how long with countless clones
Fun fact: If you don't do the side story where X shows up at the Gold Rank colony, she won't be fought inside of Origin. I just found this out now as when I first went through it I didn't fight her. Only after doing the quest did I now run into her in one of the empty rooms
I believe Mio is DEAD, and M isn't saying a word about it. Why the frick would you let a copy take over the original? Frick that noise and frick your bs about trading bodies. Unless the brain was remove and place in the original itself. b***h is dead and frick the last hours of XBC3. It was so bad, i didn't want to fight the enemies or even listen to the music.
It doesn't matter anyway, both Noah and Mio both basically have N and M inside them at some point since they both pop out to kamikaze Z while embracing each other.
They didn't have much time, not knowing anything about sex beforehand plus having their urges suppressed by the flame clock, if the adventure had been less keep moving forward they probably would have, at least Noah and Mio and Taion and Eunie.
>urges suppressed by the flame clock
wait is this why Eunie didn't mind being in a mixed bath at the start of the game but later in the game the girls get embarrassed at the thought of getting undressed in front of the guys
It ain't headcanon, several npcs mention that after having the flame click for their colony destroyed about how "such and such seem to spend a lot of time together now" and "the guys seem to be staring at the girls now", not the exact wording but that's the first of it
It seems like it is, but i dont think they were trying to imply the clock prevented horny. I think it’s just the whole “while the clock exists all we can do is kill” so now that the clocks are gone people have time to learn and worry about other things. Still makes the clothes changing scene weird though, but i think it fits in with what pretty much every character says about the clocks getting destroyed: “we can literally do anything else besides think if fighting and doing the fighting now”

Dunno it would explain why the main party started acting that way pretty much right after they got cut off, when earlier they didn't give a shit.
For keves anyways, Agnus is implied to be a bit more modest still.

Considering a person being connected to a clock lets Mobius assume direct control of that person, why couldn't it also be used to suppress sexual urges?
Anonymous
Im not saying they cant. All i am saying is that ive seen no character explicitly mention that moebius turns off the horny, but ive seen plenty of characters mention how they don’t have to keep thinking of fighting and only fighting and i think learning about genders and people and romance can fit in to that. The only thing that might lend credence to the first theory is the scene near the start where the boys run off to change

It's also why the party were so confused at Joran's carvings, the clocks suppress any creative urge and they don't know what art is either
2 years ago
Anonymous
I think this is a better argument for my theory where it’s just needing freedom. Joran takes time off to do other things and learns to do creative things. Hell, Crys and Noah talk about making their own melodies so creative thought is allowed under the rule of the flame clocks. It’s just that they barely have any time to act upon it. Their lives are literaly eat, train, fight, sleep and so on and so on, forever and ever
Yeah, that's why the guys book it too, it implied in several npc convos after liberating them from their flame clocks that the clocks suppressed their sexual urges.
>but later in the game the girls get embarrassed at the thought of getting undressed in front of the guys
actually it was the guys that got embarrassed
I'm thinking of the scene from Isurd's ascension quest where the girls are embarrassed about getting undressed in front of the guys before getting into a hot spring
>but later in the game the girls get embarrassed at the thought of getting undressed in front of the guys
That was just meant to be meta commentary on the generic anime scene of a girl getting embarrassed and hitting the guy. >Wait, why is being naked a bad thing? >I don't know, but Lanz needed a slap anyway.
does it show anywhere what the noticeable differences are after upgrading your weapons with the shards? Is it mostly cosmetic? Where do I see what the upgrade gives them?
I gives that character extra attack when they're in the base class.
Which isn't really that important of an upgrade for most of the party, but Zypher is good enough that it's actually useful if you plan on making Mio a tank
>heroine gets kidnapped
Ganker is a Taion board
Eunie board, birdslave.
My homie
Just cause Taion is tolerated now doesn't mean we like him.
>I GOT SOMETHIN FOR YA
How do you respond?
Gonna need something a bit meatier
Stop forcing these threads
>wahh stop talking about video games
>stop discussing recently released video games!!!
sorry we had to bump a twitter screencap or wojak thread off the board for this, anon
this fake aussie accents in this game hurt
especially ghondor
Ghondor is fricking insufferable.
I appreciate the representation
And I REALLY appreciate Monica's chest
(to clarify, I'm talking about her big fat breasts)
Made for oyakodon
Ew no. You can have her little goblin. I just want the mother. Seagiri can join though
His sword transforms into Iron Man glove
I'm more baffled that Noah was able to just completely block a massive laser from the Lambda Ferronis with that arm, why the frick is it so strong?
Its the alt form of a sheathblade that house a cosmic sword, of course it's powerful. Probably was tinkered by Riku.
The people of the City are descended from Ouroboros so they share the party's ability to copy Blades from other people
people do change their Blades, there's people in the City that talk about it
most people don't change because it takes time to get good with one and if you're changing all the time you'll be shit with all of them, and the Kevesi and Agnians only have ten years so they can't afford to be fricking around with that kind of thing
only the city people and Ourobouros can change their blade. There is a campfire conversation about it.
It's just how his blade morphs, like how Lanz's sword turns into a gun turret
Noah's sword is so damn fun to use. It's like Jin using Overdrive.
I love the design of lucky seven
It is so clean
The fact of being nopon steel is even cooler(yes, nopon steel not origin steel)
>I love the design of lucky seven
It really looks like a blade made to cut everything
I love the monado but 1 and 2's swords have that bionicle vibes
Grorious Noponic Steel folded 7 billions times
It's not nopon steel, it's, nopon forged. The metal is from Origin, as you said.
Yes but calling it nopon steel is just cooler
You're autistic, you don't know what cool is. You probably think Sonic is cool because Sega told you he does what Nintendont.
Sure, dude
looks like a fire emblem sword
These are the kinds of "people" that make up this fandom baka
The best possible future for him after the ending is becoming a musician together with Mio.
Yes, the relationship between shulk and monado to noah and lucky seven is totally different
Even if they both used them to save the world noah was forced to use it to kill people since childhood
Noah wants to use a sword because hes turboweeb but the actual combat style he inherited is punchfist. Look at the founder statues in the city.
I bet its re used concept art of the ouroboros party we are playing.
my 15 iq wife!
15 seems a little high.
The only person dumber than sena is Triton with 10 iq, but he has the excuse of having Alzheimers.

Why does this game have so many brainlets?
why are you to poor to buy it? get a job bro
wrong reply?
It's by design. If the children were smart than Mobius's system wouldn't have worked.
>valdi
>20
He's not dumb, he's just distracted thinking about Lenvis joints.
He's 20 around normal monsters but with mechanical enemies he's 70
Imma frickin genius
Her fake Aussie accent makes me cringe.
does she constantly get spit-roasted by oggy and aggy
They're her simps not her frickbuddies
Ghondor above Noah and Teach? What?
Triton being the only character that can reach 0 TP is so fricking funny
Monica's 37 TP is because of her class's passive that gives her a free +7, so she's actually 30 base TP
sweet eetherrrrr
This game somehow has the worst prison break segment in vidya. It makes zero sense.
>only just put together that one of the founder statues is adult chad Rex, the description of his personality even matches and he's said to have wielded two swords at the same time
anon, none of the founders are anyone we know. they are literal whos like the main cast who were the first to become ouroboros
But there is that one kid who looks like XB1 Shulk.
you could equally say he looks like noah, he's just generic homs man...
There is a lot of foreshadowing in 3 too. Too bad if you catch the hints even ending becomes too obvious
You're basically asking "How can The Contact reincarnate as Fei when the previous incarnation, Lacan, is still alive?"
The so answer is probably that N grew to be different enough from the Noah template that he's considered a different person.
I guess Lacan's ghost form is analogous to being Mobius
This is one of the big misteries of the game
They werent supposed to exist
I wonder if the dlc will touch on this subject
I hope it explains the ending a bit better at least, frick that was bad
3 is easily the game that feels like there is big pieces missing from the main story
Riku, origin, founders
All that screams "we will explain to you in the dlc"
i mean, both 1 and 2 have HUGE mystery that was never explained (until way later)
>1’s Conduit didnt actually exist as a plot device, and Zanza was just “a mad scientist that somehow got the power to frick the world up with an experiment”. Granted the “explanation” in 2 was a retcon of sort
>2’s background on the conduit, the beanstalk, what was happening that pushed Klaus toward the destruction of the world was only explained on the fricking packaging of the Siren figure
and then theres X with the giant sequelbait
Jesus the story drops off hard in Ch4
Just like the sales after first week LMAO
I love when shitposters fixate on sales because they have nothing else to fixate on.
yeah, as soon as they get stuck on sales you know the doomposting will end soon
Then the doomspoting become shitposting.
If the cycle kept going as Zed intended, what would happen once everyone reached their homecoming?
More importantly, what would happen if annihilation events just blasted the world into nothing?
Everything die, duh.
That final boss as real dumb
spoiler
Since takahashi somehow thinks this is a conclusion to the blade saga, the only way forward for Xeno now is either prequels to Klaus shit going for a more futuristic Saga vibe.
Or unrelated sequels in each world getting their own entry?
Also I smell like a Xenoblade 2 DE in the work when you look at the updated Poppi model /Nia's leggings/photo at least to properly implement the Torna cutscenes in the main game.
could also mean we may get Poppi as a hero in the DLC
>conclusion
Source? Hope they do X2 anyway or take the series in a new direction. Walking in the same environments and fighting the same monsters is getting kinda boring
It's the conclusion of the stuff that directly relates to Klaus's experiment. Not necessarily the end of Xenoblade as a whole.
>Just beat Consul J
>He's pretty much the Joker
Well ok
Why are all the areas besides the first two absolute shit to explore
Marrying Mio
The biggest disappointment with this game was the villain. Man, they really sucked. The music wasn't quite as good as 1 or 2 either. I think it had the strongest cast and best battle system though.
Dropped the game during the prison segment the other day. Does it get any better? The awful to control boat got old pretty quickly, so the awe of boating got old fast.
you dropped it before the best sequence of the entire game
after that? eh
>before the best sequence of the entire game
>after that
I've heard this line far too many times to believe it anymore.
Mio fricking dies, just go finish the prison.
I would finish the prison and drop it if you still aren’t interested
What am I looking at here?
a lalafell
my homie ass boyfren a square but that shlong game incredible ngl
>Taion shut the spark up or I'll get the feathered strap-on
>4th best friend
So i just unlocked Fencer class
When does the game get fun?
When you unlock the 2nd Master Art slot
You simply don't have enough to do in combat until then.
When you figure out the set-up that will allow you to spam arts like Xenoblade X, the game is great.
mate get more than 1 reaction image
Who the frick cares. Its not like theyre the same day homosexual
>posting the same question with the same image 1 day apart
>not cringe
No one is more cringe than someone who fricking searches every post with that image like its a fricking epidemic
>see a post
>remember the same post from yesterday
>check archive
not so hard, Black person.
Try to be less obvious next time
Do you remember no one fricking responded?
Who the frick are you quoting with your green text? Get off the computer zoomie, its past your bedtime
If nobody fricking responds that means your question was shit. So stop samegayging the same question every day cuz you won't get an answer.
homosexual
Not gonna lie you're kind of autistic
looks like someone’s mad they got found out
Literally not allowed to criticize a Nintendo game.
This post also shall be deleted. As will this one.
>deleting your own post to pretend that mods are stopping people from criticizing the game while whole threads of literal lies and shitposts go untouched
Take your meds
I just had an intense flute playing session with Mio. Hope Lanz and Co enjoy their fireworks
This game should just be called "Please Be Sad".
Say what you want about 2, but it wasn't this bad.
>keep low during prison break lmao
>still wearing out metro-sexual outfits
>forced tutorials treat you like a 5 year old
>people still overlevel using Bonus EXP and complain about how easy it is to overlevel
If you spend too much time trying to make number go big you might suddenly find yourself gaining 6 levels in 3 fights.
why doesn't this game have a bonus exp shop yet
>he's here every day
Cringe anons ITT.
Let's get back to talking about how this game was a total flop and Takahashi is on seppuku watch.
Change "Frick" to "Snuff"
Really wish we didn't have to hear the same tune and see the same animation every single time we found a body. I'm about to ignore husks completely.
why are weebs like this
They're incredibly uncultured, due to being poor, autistic, or young, so they draw connections to a limited pool of media.
>her face when she hears you haven't bought the XC3 expansion pass yet
how did they make Nopon actually cute
>Shillshill
Is this real?
yes
as real as the senile city guy literally called "boomer"
>cutscene with alexandria after fighting for a while where she has dirt all over her exposed sides
is there anything better?
How many great-grandkids is Noah gonna give Rex and Nia?
None, he's back in the xeno 1 verse
The last scene made it pretty clear the worlds are still connected.
I wouldn't say clear, more like vaguely connected maybe
>in the true world Taion hooks up with his ice wife
>meanwhile Eunie is stuck with little fatty
Nimue is for Isurd
You guys think you would have been able to make it up to Homecoming in the 1000+ years you had to try? Seems like you not only have to be godtier in the battlefield, but also get lucky with your colony assignment.
Seeing how even if you win the battle you can still get crushed by giant enemy robots falling from the sky...
I also feel like some consuls would kill you just to see you again next time
There is a flashback with crys where a consul talks how making a dude have his homecoming was a waste
>be combatant
>a stray bullet hits you
>be salvager
>accident-ed into Gonzales cave
>be supply manager
>get a heart attack from being so angry at those incompetent fricks
eh id be a nopon
You have to be excellent, but be grouped with a bunch of shitters since you lose if your colony hits Gold rank. They can't be too shitty though, or they'll drag you to your death with their incompetence.
The fact that there's only been a thousand Agnus Homecomings in all the years the war has been going on says it all really.
>since you lose if your colony hits Gold rank.
Could you remember me why?
Moebius slaughters any colony that hits Gold rank.
“too OP, isnt fun”
or just simply that such a strong force might tip the war scale too hard for thr consul’s liking. ptsd Eunie came from a gold tier
Ethel and camuravi would totally be killed by moebius anyway
The ranking is a Scam, you're motivated with better awards to make your flame clock shine and once you've reached Gold Tier there's nothing else to work for so the entire colony is harvested by Moebius and those ideal solders are worked back into the flow to be recycled into other colonies.
You need to also have the luck of not being the chosen playground of a random moebius
Like eunie dying on her last incarnation
>get born into Silver rank colony
>after years of hard work, finally hit Gold
>get executed by some chubby little fat kid in a mask who makes mud clones of all your dead friends
Why does this game make the nopon sound evil?
>sound
Someone post the pic
this chain attack shit is confusing as frick
Re-read the tips in the menu and just experiment
Attacker = if they're used first then you get 25% for their turn
Defender = if used last and you reach 100-149% then the next order will bring back the character with the highest TP, 150-199% is the 2 highest TP characters, and 200%+ is the 3 highest.
Healer = cannot go above 99%
Heroes don't follow any of the above and all have different rules. You may see a Hero with healer but that doesn't mean they stop at 99%. A hero like Valid instead gets 50+tp when you're fighting a mechanical enemy.
Valdi* frick
When you say choose first, is that at the screen where I choose one of three characters, or when I choose my first attack to do?
when you choose your first attack
I see. But it's also important when I choose my 1 of 3 heroes for those bonuses on the screen, right?
yeah the perks are pretty important, they also last the entire chain attack so if you pick taion in round 1 for example the enemy will have reduced physical defense for the entire chain attack
also a minor tip but the bonus you get from matching roles is very important, if you pick an attacker type order like noah or sena any attacker that attacks in during that round will gain a +10 tp bonus, this also applies to the other two roles and it can be very helpful to know
You also get a bonus for picking the same (story based not class based) faction. Taion is also way better as a DPS instead of a canon healer and Sena is better as a healer instead of her DPS canon... If you care about chain attacks solely that is.
the orders are effects applied after you successfully fill the gauge in the round
ex:
>pick Taion's which reduces enemy's physical defense by 35%. during the chain attack
>attack with party members until gauge hits > 100%
>Taion does his attack order
>next round the enemy's physical defenses are lowered by 35%
asoasf until you are out of rounds
it actually applies just before the character does their special
when you choose your first attack
big number = good
attackers give big numbers when they attack first
healers cap gauge at 99
use defenders last to bring back the unit with the highest TP in the next round
These are the basics. Read the orders and experiment
How? It's simple as.
Do the training simulations you brainlet.
To add on to what the others said, you can choose three orders normally before the chain gauge empties. A Hero's order doesn't consume the chain gauge so you can use four orders in one chain if you include them. There's a Hero that can let you get a fifth order if you use them in the chain.
If you do like say Noah and mio's chain attacks you can do a oroborous one
>take masks that don't cover their faces off
>GASP
kek this is some Superman tier shit
I also feel like this kind of plot works more with these characters because they dont even think of the concept of clones being a thing
Sure N looks like noah, but why would they think of them being their previous version, the concept of city is foreign for them
There should have been more areas where you could have used the boat. Once you've seen enough of Cadensia, you realize how underwhelming it is.
That area is hell for any map autist.
>just find all the landmarks bro!
Too bad not every island has a landmark on it. You're screwed no matter what.
I'm annoyed that the map looks like a fricking snail trail
Nice music though.
did you draw a penis in the sea
not him but I did
incredible.
>THIS GOODBYE IS NOT THE END
>I KNOW
>UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
>OUR FEELINGS WILL REMAIN THE SAME
>TOGETHER AS ONE
>TILL WE FIND OURSELVES AGAIN
Can someone tell me why Noah and Mio exist if N and M existed? Did Z just decide to magic them into existence? They briefly glossed over it as them being like the ambitions of their former selves but is that it? No real answers except anime shit?
It wasnt really that explained, could be explored more on dlc
But some people think that n and m became so different that they pratically became another separated beings
Most of the complex questions don't really have fitting answers. View the story in broad strokes because if you want answers to the specific details none of anything makes sense.
Z is a fricking sadist, the answer is obvious
Walk > cutscene > battle > cutscene > battle > cutscene > cutscene > cutscene with music > do you want to save? > cutscene > battle > cutscene > battle > cutscene > do you want to rest? > cutscene > walk for a bit > cutscene
Why? also i cut mio hair
OH sweet merciful shit please don't do this to me.
TAKAHASHIIIII!!!
It's awful. Talk to the question marks on the map and they'll give you some of the items.
The worst is yet to come though. Hope you like a boss rush and an hours' worth of cutscenes coming up.
>A boss rush without your 7th so chain attacks aren't even fun
Did anyone dare try to map the whole sea?
How much time would I have to waste for that
>shit control
i'll skip unless they give a better control
The map auto completes if you get all landmarks. Now, if you're a massive fricking moronic autist that insists on maping the entire map before finding all landmarks, then it'd probably take over 20 hours, specially due to the small ass reveal radius on the boat. There's also a secret huge area where you're forced to swim around, mapping that shit alone would drive anyone insane.
>The map auto completes if you get all landmarks.
wait what the frick
That's right anon. Now stop moving back and forth on your boat with the R3 map on the screen and actually go back to playing the game.
I wasted like 3 hours trying to make the map pretty until I raged and found about that online
>tfw fill 3 map
oh well, guess i'll find all the landmark first
thank god.
What exactly does Noah say when he takes fall damage?
I'm the girl with the gall
YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH SOME ETHER
Ow that smarts/sparks
Give me some of that sweet etherrrrrrrrrr
AND I'M THE MVP
More to add to the playbook
cum to eunie
I NEED YOU MIO
does the main cast ever comment on noah’s obsession with mio? like ‘haha wow they sure became such close friends’ because they don’t understand what romance is
I'M THE GIRL WITH THE MEATY MVP
Is Sena supposed to be autistic or something? wtf is wrong with her?
she's supposed to be the girl with the gall
She has severe self confidance issues that she hides under her happy go lucky californian valley girl tomboy personality
So has anyone gotten a full combo on 1 character using Soul hacker? It's probably possible, right?
>they wasted Ethel's character and design
damn chinks...
BUILT for flaming spearwiener
>How many times did you already frick Noah, Mio?
>Jeez idk, how many loaves of bread have you eaten?
Damn how did they get away with this line? Mio was the smug one not Noah
Sena gays I'm so sorry but with how much she talks about her husband I doubt you have a chance.
Can you re-recruit Ethel without aging her up in the growth pod? I just assumed not, so I went ahead and did it, but if it is possible to keep her that way then I have made a terrible mistake
You can only age her up.
no, you can't
if you're grossly overleveled for the area, fights give jackshit CP
overkilling a rare around your level should give instant visible progress
No matter how many battles i fight with Isurd in my party, nobody seems to be progressing in being able to use the Strategos class (except Taion obviously). Am I missing something?
it's based on CP gain so try fighting an elite/unique with a higher level than you
You have to fight enemies of equal or higher level. Fight blue/elite enemies that are 1 or more levels higher and get an XP boost chain attack and you will get them unlocked extremely quickly. (Never level up with rested XP in the entire playthrough of the game. It actually fricks you over)
Oh, well shit.
Fighting enemy at same level or higher
Are there sound files anywhere? I want to make a video of the cast eating at some place but lanz burger doesnt have a lot of meat so they go to arbys instead
>trade a virgin gf for a billion years old gf
Is it worth it?
Imagine all the sex they must have had. And she remembers all of it. You know she must know exactly what makes that wiener twitch. I mean, imagine going from not knowing about sex to knowing everything in like a week and knowing you did probably every fetish and position known to man. I mean they have been fricking for a 1000 years.
She need to pretending as M for a month
People call it NTR but more like double-NTR.
I wonder what it was like for M to be a virgin again
I doubt M was very in the mood for sex what with wanting to kill herself because of how evil N is
Nah, N wouldn't have went so insane if they weren't having sex every night. She was getting Noah dick nightly
>that quest where you discover Gray is fricking married
>his wife is extremely cute, a lot younger than him and enables his autism
>she tells him to take off his mask around his friends
>he does
I don't care about the criticisms people have been throwing around, the character writing alone is reason enough for me to love this game
>average 60 year old man
The writing for sidequests is either endearing or outright moronic. No real in between, but there's a good amount to like anyways.
to be honest even the moronic ones are still funny like the quest with the moronic tirkins who couldn't fricking count or any quest involving triton's senile old ass
Are the collectopaedia cards just there forever no matter how many times you complete them? Cause that's fricking annoying
Sort it by first time completion and its not annoying in the slightest
You are welcome 🙂
I have so many questions about colony Mu. What even was their commanders motivation? Why would anyone create a colony of just little girls to fight wars? How did they make it into the game?
Do airdrops happen randomly? I have gotten 3 in this same spot for like the past hour.
No idea. They aren't really worth checking out unless your Ether cylinder count is in the 90's.
I like that Taoin gets on with the bants later.
Holy frick this tirkin quest is cancer
>Collect 50 shit of four items
Frick you
Just kill them lol. You don’t actually have to collect the items
go and kill them. they're pieces of shit anyways
I tried collecting until I got tired from the last category.
Just kill the frickers you do it anyway.
I literally just walked up to them and murdered them in cold blood
T.
go collect 50 shiny roses
You only have to collect 20 of each, npcs give you the rest
I think most of those items are in lower forest
You can use gacha machine as well.
WHICH gacha machine, though?
Frick I hate the Tirkin race so much.
Bro don't be racist
nopon hands typed this
reminder that tirkins are your FRIENDS, nopons are the ENEMY
Does anyone have all these idea's for builds they eventually will do but then spend the whole game just leveling classes so you never actually do any of those ideas and just work with whatever the game auto equips to whatever class you happen to be currently leveling?
minmaxing is for the superbosses anon
you WILL kill the strongest boss in the series right? you won't miss on this track right?
I did the superbosses and didn't min max either.
reminder that if you didn't kill a fully starred ceratinia on hard you didn't beat the game
Sorry to break it to you my guy but none of the content in this game is hard.
Cute battle autists
I didn't expect them to have sex in front of everyone
urgh
Is their sex scene mandatory? I would like to skip everything regarding tehs two.
Yeah. The game forces you to watch them orgasm together. They have sex right in front of the entire party and he creampies her.
A low point in the series. Why would we even care about Camuribi or whatever his name is
im sorry but integrating class changing into the story is just so stupid and came out as stupid as I thought it would when I saw the cutscene
How was it stupid?
I want X to rape me
We know, Elma
funniest shit I've ever seen
>implying the fusion dance is moronic
>Japanese humor
Was the mystery hero from I think the direct supposed to be in the base game or dlc? And if base game, who is it
mystery hero? do you mean
>the blurred out first slot?
that was just ethel
>the weird machine girl?
that was segiri
who the frick riku actually is
Riku is Riku
Does Riku hate the Tirkin?
everyone hates the fricking tirkin
Did you see me, Mimi?
Yeah, you were great! You really made Lanz cum a lot.
What does Mio say when she starts the interlink? I can't quite make it out.
>still seething about Ethel getting SMOLDERED
i don’t really care so much about the flaming wiener so much as the irrelevance to the story. i’d happily watch her get speared five times over if she was actually important to the plot
>t. cuck who likes to watch in the corner
Irrelevant shipping homosexualry meant for gays and females
>freed from the flame clock
>now addicted to the flame wiener
Pottery
she was already addicted to the flame wiener before that
maybe ethel and fire dude have also been fricking each other across timelines as well?
Ethel is 100% going to nope out of her own dimension to taste Cammuravi's lance just like Noah did
We don't even know if Noah actually did that
people keep saying this, when does noah leave his dimension I just beat the game?
Kid Noah vanishes after hearing the flute. It's implied that he hopped over to the other world.
To me it implied that he's about to meet Crys for the first time.
it's not Crys' melody, it's Mio's
Why would he disappear?, Crys is from the same world.
When the doves fly by in the post credit scene Noah vanishes from the square.
It doesn't show were he ends up, but you would have to have a room temperature IQ to not figure that out.
How the frick do I unlock Alexandria's ascension quest? I only have 3 Colony Iota goods left and I can't get rid of them because everyone in the collectopaedia wants more than that.
i had 3 leftover too and i still got the info fragment
Set her as your active hero and check her colony for a quest.
I just got to Erythia Sea, probably the prettiest area in the game so far
This game feels overly focused on shipping and relationships. Are the other Xeno games like this?
Yes. They're all basically Fire Emblem
Seriously? Like half the cast get together and the story is basically second plane? So they're basically shoujo games?
newbiebro?
Well I'll be. Kinda unexpected of Ganker.
Why are you playing 3 without playing 1 (the best one)?
Yes, but theyre much more generic anime about it.
there is only one relationship that it focuses on
>autist can't relate to depictions of human relationships
sad
Takahashi has ever been a straight sex shill.
your only objective in God's green earth is to marry and reproduce
Thank you, Abe-san. Speaking to us from beyond the grave.
Not always possible.
Yes, except Saga 2
I don't get it, did you guys pop a blood vessel at these idiots too?
Zeke was cool.
>Nia friendzone memes for years
>Nia has a daughter with Rex
>Her daughter is so loved that fate makes her inseparable from her lover
>Even hers loved would sell his soul to the devil for her
Pretty funny Takahashi, pretty funny...
>inseparable
>get separated, probably permanently
Anon wut?
Brainlet
How so?
Is there a nopon named Bana in this game like there was in 1 and 2?
>Everybody says the baby scene is kino
>Get to the baby scene
>It's kino
Taion was mvp in that scene
"i'm not one for outward displays of emotion" he says
He ended up being one of the best characters after I expected him to be insufferable smart guy.
Mio was kino in that scene. Her hand shoots up faster then anyones
>the look she gives Noah
She is the one that has had a child in a past life.
actually nia conceived via parthogenesis
there was no sex involved
actually Zeke impregnated Nia
>bait players with Ethel on the trailers
>she's actually irrelevant to the story and pretty much made to bait fanfic writers and teenager fanartists in Twitter
Thanks Takahashi, very cool.
wait so you’re telling me mio can mindjack people, including consuls now
Current in chapter 6 now but I bet they will forgot about that plot point for the rest of the game.
they already forgot about it in the very next consul fight
i guess it isn’t very heroic to fight with mindjacking, even if it gives you an enormous advantage
Nope she gets cut off from her moebius powers by Z shortly after revealing herself.
is this explained later or what
i don’t remember seeing it during the chapter 5 - 6 cutscenes
When you meet the queen yup.
oh ok. i was busy with sidequests again since all the ascension quests started popping up like mushrooms in chapter 6
>Spend the entire time wondering where that rival squad of trainees we saw in the flashbacks ended up
>Was expecting one of them to at least become a Hero character
>Lanz' side story reveals that the squad, outside of Kite who went to Colony 9 with Noah and the guys, ate shit shortly after their deployment to their own colony
I laughed my ass off at that revelation
>Taion finding out M's gimmick
And people say this homie isn't based
>montage of them trying to break out
That shit really got me man
Solely overleveling your heroes doesn't frick your cp gain or can it?
Beat the game and you can delevel
Bros...
Being Noah is suffering.
i wish they actually forced him to see off mio, that would have probably broke the man
What was N thinking for real? Did he want to show Noah that his way of thinking was the only right way or something?
he desperately wanted to delude himself into thinking he made the right choice
Makes sense
He wanted to make Noah feel the same despair he felt so that his choice would be valid.
yeah basically he wanted to show noah what m/mio showed him later, just in a cruder manner
He secretly was regretful over what he did and trying to break Noah into doing the same to prove he was right to do it, also why he's so keen on breaking everyone's hope
Basically his copium.
Honestly expected him to go ape shit when N freed him and just try to kill everyone.
Mio jumped in before he got broke too hard.
You just know Mio was testing out that new mouth that night using thousands of years worth of memories of the best techniques
i don’t think n was getting any more catgirl pussy after he committed shoah on the city
hmm or maybe he did if m was trying to keep up an act?
Don't think Noah was getting anymore after the ending too
Noah and Mio reunion in the DLC, reminder the young Mio dress model is still unused in the game.
final boss is just a giant head
The villians are the only big weakpoint in this game for me. Especially coming from a series with goats like Egil, Jin, Malos, Amalthus and Zanza. N was cool but he was really it
>zanza
he's on the same level as Z for me
adam howden carried him hard
Zanza gets better once you meet Klaus. He's also at least consistently entertaining and menacing. Z was just really boring and never seems to threaten the party at all
Zanza does get a lot of shit done in the short time he appears
>Kills Meyneth
>Destroys the Mechonis
>Telethias all pure High Entia
Z sits on his ass, and Torna tries to stop the party for most of the game and fails, only really successfully capturing Pyra once.
>Z sits on his ass
Which is sort of fine with his role as the Origin's arbiter. Sure, it doesn't exactly make him the most exciting in terms of story exposure, but it's not like villains who gain most of their story development towards the end of the story progress are any worse then those that show their face constantly.
>but it's not like villains who gain most of their story development towards the end of the story progress are any worse then those that show their face constantly.
It could work, if the setting wasn't so heavily invested in trying to sell off it's good points as retrograde snippets, but it just happens to be like that, so it's not like i can change people's minds about it.
he looks cool at the very least
true
>Egil
Egil and Zanza were lame as frick, only Mumkhar was a based villain in XBC1.
Hey at least the castles being mechs was cool
The WHOLE place was a giant robot? woooooow, haven't seen that one before Takahashi
mio outfit...
>Actual good looking outfits to wear, including that M suit. It's not available to use in game.
....the frick.
Is Mio actually Nia's daughter? If so, where is Rex? How long does this take place after 1 and 2?
It's kind of implied when you do her sidequest in the post game.
She's the copy of her daughter stored in Origin.
Zanza without Klaus sucks
Jin without the DLC isn't great
If I were you I would wait a while before giving a final verdict.
>Jin without the DLC isn't great
but you still have amalthus and malos so its fine
>Zanza without Klaus sucks
good thing that doesn't exist
Zanza himself isn't that great even with Klaus. His background is more fleshed out which is nice, but it doesn't stop him from being lame as frick in XC1 itself.
Jin is fine without the dlc and Malos is the most fun antagonist (and is the real one) that Monosoft has ever made
I really doubt the DLC will do anything to fix Z.
There's one missing consul in the game; there's no consul A. I'm expecting them to be the DLC's antagonist.
>Mio is Nia and Rex's son
>Cammuravi could be Rex and Pyras son, no lore but is possible, that said not that important
Hmm I wonder what Mythra might want to name her son. Maybe Addam
Mythra definitely would've named her son Milton
>>Mio is Nia and Rex's son
Mio's cute cat penis.
>Addam becomes the first human Moebius after an experiment by Y
>proceeds to kill his Dad and brother, as well as the other core founders
>ultimately defeated by Noah and Mio
>Riku mention lucky seven when Mio about to die
frick you Riku, maybe tell it sooner
I assumed he was just gonna kingdom hearts it like sora does to riku
>riku mentions lucky seven in prison
>breaks everyone out and unwittingly takes M with him
>save the world in a month while M is having the time of her life, the little she has left
>meanwhile Mio is being mindbroken on N’s wiener as he fumes about how they escaped
Kinda hot
Testtube soldiers can breed
Kneel before the second best xeno heroine
Second only to her mom
What is the best class to fill talent art faster if you attack from front?
Seraph can set quickdraw as a master art, and FMJ can set the flamelord as a master art if you want attacker classes with two front positionals. Ogre and Martial artist also have a front attack but are weaker classes.
Attackers should always be sitting on the side so that they can use flashback or glittering stream to inflict break.
i'm planning to use noah unlimited sword talent art
The chapter 5 finale and all of chapter 6 is the best Xeno has ever been. It's non stop kino until you breach origin.
Shame they couldn't stick the landing
Taion dropping to his knees at the final cinematic
based homie
Please oh God don't let the expansion be a prequel.
The moebius are so boring besides like 3 of them
The expansion has been confirmed about the founding of the city.
So... how does Z select which people to turn into moebius? I thought the game would provide some sort of explanation as to how Joran became moebius but he just dies instead.
I think for J it was specifically to break Noah again because despite becoming Moebius he stayed in the cycle and was always the only looming threat. Same with C.
>I think for J it was specifically to break Noah again
The first cutscene with the consuls after D gets back from killing Vandham it shows that he was fused with J. It's just a coincidence that Joran was already Moebius before the start of the story.
I think Defender lucky seven might charge a bit faster. It's weaker than Attacker lucky seven but it can reliably activate the lucky seven talent art twice in the time limited. The invincibility buff on Defender lucky seven is also ridiculously strong.
Support lucky seven is awful, don't even bother with that one.
what about flash fencer lucky seven?
Get flash fencer to rank 20 so that the passive fills your talent meter fully at the start of a fight. Then you can run into areas 50 levels higher than you, activate lucky seven and try to trigger attacker lucky seven's chance to instant kill regular/elite enemies with every single hit before the initial invincibility runs out.
Although the game doesn't give you any bonus xp for being underleveled.
thanks
the most important thing is to have a name that starts with a letter that isn’t already taken
Mean it's pretty assumed once your moe you're out the cycle since they gain all their memories once they become one
Sure, but I was under the impression that to become Moebius you had to be in the cycle to begin with. My understanding of it was
>you die
>Z chooses you as a moebius candidate and gives you the option of either re-entering the cycle or living forever
So wouldn't that disqualify people from the City, who aren't reincarnated?
Maybe? Or maybe it's like Shania who willingly get flame clocked even tho they're outside it's system
There’s clearly some greater will or some shit to do with origin or something that just keeps bringing Noah and Mio back
I fricking loved it
MIO
MIO
MIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Literally seething. He couldn't seethe harder if he tried, this is the boiling point.
>that look of confusion becoming one of abject horror as he looks back and forth between them, gears turning in his head, as he realizes what just happened
It would be sad if it wasn't so fricking funny (and cathartic after the hour of despair-inducing cutscenes he just made us endure)
And the fricker still gets a happier ending than Noah that he don't deserve at all.
It's really hard to feel sympathy for N given how much of an unhinged schizo he was and the fact that he sold the souls of both him and his wife to eldritch Fear Satan. Oh, and torturing his younger (clone) self to try and validate his garbage choices.
Man...I just finished the whole after prison part with N and jesus christ.
How is this game rated T for teen?
that sus among us girl, she died for real right?
>keep playing h games instead of finishing xb2 and eventually starting torna + xb3
AHHHHHH
Frick I loved it so much I made a sound webum of the cuck screaming.
It's been a long night, but take this. I'm going to bed.
this was pretty lame imo
N is a pathetic person anon
so? hes the only thing this game has for a decent villain I wanted a cool fight not some romcom scene
>he doesn't know the series he's playing
I dont care for cuckholdry it wasnt funny then and its especially not funny when its a villain im supposed to take seriously.
so first xeno game
I played 1,2 and X
Then why are you asking this question.
what question?
is this your first xeno game
>haha bad writing le good because it's an epic series staple
you should all die
>cool fight
Literally happens in the same string of cutscenes when N waxes the whole party and they fight among themselves due to M.
An emotional capoff fits much better than yet another anime battle when there's already been two. Just outing yourself as no-patience zoomer.
it was so lame though they might as well have thrown a pie in N's face too while everyone claps and role the credits there. Z was a disappointment too
>""emotional capoff"
nonsensical cutscene where the villain just stands around witlessly so (you) can have your bull fantasy moment and feel just like the winner you are (in the game world)
perfect
Holy frick Y is a pedo or what
How come when you beat him at the end of the game he just sits there? there isnt even a cutscene
This is one of the things that really soured me to the last chapter. The fact that you fight X and Y in identical rooms and that they don’t have anything meaningful to say or do after you beat them felt like the devs just admitting that the villains in this game were afterthoughts
im sorry bros but im gonna say it 2>3
they're all good but 3 is my favorite
2>3>1
3 would've topped 2 if it stuck it's ending and had a better OST.
>I feel that 3 highs are just on a whole other level.
such as?
In any other game this internal conflict of the main heroine wouldn't even be glossed over and she would just blindly agree with whatever MC said like a doormat.
too bad all that is irrelevant like an hour later still a good scene though
There was a lack of Noah/Mio scenes despite this being good
What else do they get, the baby scene, and the prison/escape, then nothing till the end?
They have a bunch of small moments, but that Maktha one is one of the most memorable.
I want to impregnate Yuzuriha
I think there are people who forget that the consuls see the people of Keves and Agnus as pure cattle and circus animals and have been doing that for god knows how long with countless clones
The colonies are the personal farms of the Consuls. They seem pretty good villains to me considering the whole context.
Fun fact: If you don't do the side story where X shows up at the Gold Rank colony, she won't be fought inside of Origin. I just found this out now as when I first went through it I didn't fight her. Only after doing the quest did I now run into her in one of the empty rooms
Probably because they don't that quest to be missable I guess
oh I guess thats why I didnt see her
I was wondering what happened if you killed her in Origin before doing that quest. I'm glad they didn't make it missable.
>Colony Mu
my dick awaken
Their accents are adorable
>Mio dies
>M joins the party instead
Would have been better
I believe Mio is DEAD, and M isn't saying a word about it. Why the frick would you let a copy take over the original? Frick that noise and frick your bs about trading bodies. Unless the brain was remove and place in the original itself. b***h is dead and frick the last hours of XBC3. It was so bad, i didn't want to fight the enemies or even listen to the music.
It doesn't matter anyway, both Noah and Mio both basically have N and M inside them at some point since they both pop out to kamikaze Z while embracing each other.
Dude...................................................
are you really trying to tell me they didnt all frick after leaning about babies?
They didn't have much time, not knowing anything about sex beforehand plus having their urges suppressed by the flame clock, if the adventure had been less keep moving forward they probably would have, at least Noah and Mio and Taion and Eunie.
>urges suppressed by the flame clock
wait is this why Eunie didn't mind being in a mixed bath at the start of the game but later in the game the girls get embarrassed at the thought of getting undressed in front of the guys
nta but thats my headcanon as well
It ain't headcanon, several npcs mention that after having the flame click for their colony destroyed about how "such and such seem to spend a lot of time together now" and "the guys seem to be staring at the girls now", not the exact wording but that's the first of it
It seems like it is, but i dont think they were trying to imply the clock prevented horny.
Im not saying they cant. All i am saying is that ive seen no character explicitly mention that moebius turns off the horny, but ive seen plenty of characters mention how they don’t have to keep thinking of fighting and only fighting and i think learning about genders and people and romance can fit in to that. The only thing that might lend credence to the first theory is the scene near the start where the boys run off to change
It's also why the party were so confused at Joran's carvings, the clocks suppress any creative urge and they don't know what art is either
>That was just meant to be meta commentary
>it was bad on purpose
Complete the sidequest in Colony Gamma where Lanz gets requested as a teacher and then talk to the guy who requested him
does it show anywhere what the noticeable differences are after upgrading your weapons with the shards? Is it mostly cosmetic? Where do I see what the upgrade gives them?
I gives that character extra attack when they're in the base class.
Which isn't really that important of an upgrade for most of the party, but Zypher is good enough that it's actually useful if you plan on making Mio a tank
The missing Consul A is Alvis isn't it?
So, about the statues...
There are two that look like Shulk. Is the one that looks like a younger Shulk supposed to be his kid or something?
Read the plaque?
It says that guy was a Keves solider.
Now is it a clone of Shulk's son? Maybe.
