It's closer to Outlast/Amnesia, but I still would recommend it. Great first playthrough. Gets a bit repetitive halfway through, but I'd say just push on.
It has combat against other enemy types but I think you generally won't like it as hide-and-seek with the Alien is around 70% of the game.
I loved it despite not liking outlast or amnesia. The flamethrower and other gadgets to at least distract or scare the Alien away go a long way for me.
I did not play any of the games you listed, I played and liked Alien Isolation because I like the movies and remeber watching them as a kid on a VHS. AvP 2 game is still my favorite.
Overall it's a fun game I hated Outlast but found this entertaining enough, it feels longer than it should be towards the end but is entertaining nonetheless
