>what is pyro
a short range class that you can easily pick your fights with, choosing to just not engage them unless they're distracted >what is hitscan
something that can't disrupt your movement enough to not get 195'd in the face, thanks mantreads. skill issue unless the other team has a closet cheating sniper >what is moving towards them and making them overshoot the jump
obvious skill issue, thanks to mantreads you can correct in time to still get the hit.
>pyro airblasts >heavy tanks >scout is too fast >engineer dabs on your launch path with sentry >spy is invisible or disguised >soldier and demo... alright, you can hit soldiers and demos >medic is free kills for every class >sniper is free kills for every class
Worse than mid.
>pyro
don't jump at a pyro that sees you >heavy
195 is often enough to kill a heavy assuming your team is doing their job, and if it isn't, they'll clean up the rest >scout is too fast
no he isn't >engineer
yea >spy
you can kill disguised spies >medic
yea >sniper
yea
you've clearly never encountered a good trolldier if you don't think he is busted. the mantreads are the real issue
>implemented with the intention that players would use it to practise rocket jumping outside of actual games >even though there are plenty of ways of doing that without needing a fricking weapon for it >ends up being used in actual games, completely contradicting the idea that high movement should require a health cost
Everything about this weapons just serves to be a big reminder that valve are fricking idiots.
i am usually pretty competitive in FPS games but i dont think i have ever given a shit about winning or losing TF2. TF2 only stops being fun when you are losing so badly that its not even a contest, but then autobalance usually fixed that.
The only thing that makes me mad in TF2 is when I get autobalanced. It passes pretty quickly, but it makes me feel like I just got Harrison Bergeron'd.
I usually just laugh at that, but it stings when it's during the first minute or two of the game. Like damn, I really felt like I was making something happen for a second there. Nope!
It's a big reason why 5cp is completely underappreciated as a gamemode. It cannot be overstated how much it work in a game's favour when a gamemode ends quickly when the teams are unbalanced.
If the problems 5cp does have were addressed tf2 as a game would be immensely improved, but it'll never happen.
>dead weight for the team
ooh wait, you play ""casual"", right. Sounds real casual. Oh, my team is stomping too hard in this custom server I'm playing, I'm just gonna switch teams real quick. brb
>team
its 24/7 2fort my anon
half of us are bots and the other half dont like sweaty competition
wasnt overwatch2 supposed to have a mode like man vs machine? never heard anyone mention it post-release
>there are players who want to have fun and players who want to be more serious and play for the win >lets make a separate game modes for them. we'll also add a ranked system to the competitive mode, while casual mode's win or lose won't affect anything >competitive players still invade casual mode just to cry and scream in the voice chat why no-one is taking the match seriously in the mode made specifically for casual players to just have fun
competitive player = moronic homosexual
There's an actual good reason for that, the competitive matchmaking straight up does not work. It tries to juice your graphics settings up to max for the sake of streams, and doing that while also trying to load a game causes a metric frickton of connection stability issues that makes 80% of a match D/C before they can even get in. Competitive matchmaking may as well not exist.
official comp fricking sucks for multitude of reasons >vac sucks >no banlists >relies on getting matched into lobbies instead of being able to pick lobbies
it's strictly inferior to community comp so why the frick would anyone want that shit unless they copy exactly what the community has already made
no comp player gives a shit about your hightowers or 2forts where you do your le funni pootis killbinds and pretend it's fun to do it for hours
comp players playing casual mostly want a middle ground that's still 12v12 where you can still pull off gamer moves and play against fellow sweatlords without a stupid overarching rank system and where no one gets butthurt and pulls out op shit like snipers, vaccinators and wranglers
If your idea of fun is more serious matches, just go play PUGs. It's not hard to find a game.
>no one picks you
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
nice advice bro
yes
>nooo not fun in my casual game!
>heavy or sentry on enemy team
>trolldiers can't play anymore
>bots straight for your medic with market gardener out
>gets airshot
>gets the market gardener kill anyway because he's using the manntreads
>Actaully playing the objective in TF2
You lost already
If you're on the right map and you're good enough, there is no reliable counter to this playstyle besides sentries
what is pyro
what is hitscan
what is moving towards them and making them overshoot the jump

unless they're newbie scrubs they'll be absolutely thirsty for the airshots

Imagine having so much time in your hands, that it would matter if you win or lose in multiplayer games.

play something other than koth

seconded

Exactly!
It was better when you could carry the flag with the jumpers.
market gardener is OP as frick
My fun is the only thing that matters when I'm playing a game.
Yeah, at least I'm getting more kills occasionally than the third sniper or spy.
>dead weight for the team
ooh wait, you play ""casual"", right. Sounds real casual. Oh, my team is stomping too hard in this custom server I'm playing, I'm just gonna switch teams real quick. brb
In my experience, the guy using this is also getting plenty of kills with his shotgun.
>shoot a rocket jumper
>move out of the way
>he misses me, hits the ground and dies
>laugh at him
me having fun>you having fun
simple faks
Trolldiers are why I keep the FaN strapped at all times
>team

wasnt overwatch2 supposed to have a mode like man vs machine? never heard anyone mention it post-release
They canceled the PvE mode and their announcement heavily implied they knew they weren't going to be able to complete it before they even announced it
kek poor old overwatch, you SFM porn'd too close to the sun

Any game that doesn't have 1 medic or 1 engineer is shit-tier.
>yea I'm dead weight for the team but at least I had fun
I say this
>Dead weight
>Instantly kill 7/9 classes
>Infinite no risk mobility
Pick 1
