I've emulated Super Metroid many times, and none of those hold a candle to playing it on switch. The hardware is portable unlike a PC, and designed for games unlike a phone. Also I don't have to frick around with settings or looking at compatibility lists which you know I'd have to do with N64 emulators. You even have a CRT filter that's pretty good, it was updated recently.
The only reason people want to sub on this thing is because playing it on the switch is a significant improvement over emulation.
most emulators today offer a far and away better experience than what nintendo has on offer. It's not even up for debate and if your big thing is portability then why not get a deck which again will be able to play the entire library of virtually every retro console portability and for free? Retroarch is even available on steam and is so easy to set up a child could do it.

I'm not arguing for the guy, read his post again you tool and realise where you went wrong.
If I only wanted it for emulation then I might as well get a Vita but that's still a moronic idea, I already have a switch and I want a decent emulator with rewind, savestates, rebinding, crt filter and that I don't have to deal with compatibility issues for a cheap subscription in a system I already own
>Also I don't have to frick around with settings or looking at compatibility lists which you know I'd have to do with N64 emulators
homie I could download a N64 emulator right now and play 5 times the available games on offer from NSO without touching a single setting.
It's this or steal. You can just emulate but then you have a moral issue. Please spend the next few posts justifying that you're not a thief somehow because the games are old.
games don't age, so it doesn't matter if it's "new" or "old" 1s and 0s homosexual. fricking bunch of crybabies attention whoring about some optional shit that you don't need to pay if you don't want to. for satan's sake.
when i was young people didn't feel like they need to justify pirated games. they just bought pirated games because it was cheaper and that's it. but nowadays you homosexuals just attention prostitute with some stupid bullshit trying to make yourselves feel better about illegal activities. it just makes you look like a weak ass cry homosexual
No, it isn't. If you think it's bait it shows you're just lying to yourself about it. You people find it so hard to admit it's theft. just do it and stop bragging about it.
>a whole new online expansion pack for $15 bucks more >no excuse because nes/snes online didn't need that
It's days like these that remind me that sometimes piracy is okay.
We don't know the price yet, but if it's too expensive maybe I'll sub for a month, play everything I want and then end the subscription. The good thing is that it's not tied to online play or cloud saves like the base subscription, so only people that want to play those games will sub. This might also mean that Nintendo has to provide a better service than "updating 3 times a year with games nobody gives a shit about" like they do with nes and snes
I'll pay for the same reason I'll probably eventually get a Steam Deck - portability. Does depend on the price and the content though, no Sonic 1 at release? Weird choice
>can't answer the question
rare is owned by MS. MS won't give nintardo anything without the asiatics bending over backwards to appease that big american wiener
>Im glad Nintendo allows us to play his N64 classic games and also genesis ones. >Only by paying aditional money over the online subscription which already offers an excelent service.
They shill metroid this hard (which I'm ok with), but don't add VC for at least the GBA so people can play Fusion, Zero Mission and Super Metroid all on one platform?
yeah... I feel the same, OP.
That's not very nintendie of you nintendie.
sorry but nintendo gets my money this time, really excited for this one
why? you can play every N64 or every genesis game in existence on virtually every device through emulators and get a significantly better experience
Don't care. Still pay for the N64 subscription.
It just works
I have been wanting to play Mario party online with a friend for ages now. And he just doesn't wanna touch emulation ever.
>significantly better experience
>on emularors

you're obviously moronic but just to throw you something to think about: so why don't you just wait and get a steam deck?
Not him but you're clearly an idiot if that's your response

As long as you like it then that's all that really matters in the end.
>Already own the Switch
>NO YOU CANT PAY $20 A YEAR FOR ROMS JUST SELL IT AND WAIT FOR THE Steam Deck PLEASE
>Also I don't have to frick around with settings or looking at compatibility lists which you know I'd have to do with N64 emulators
homie I could download a N64 emulator right now and play 5 times the available games on offer from NSO without touching a single setting.
9
then don't. i don't give a frick what you do to be honest tbh. i don't go out shouting that i'm not gonna pay over $1 for eggs
It's this or steal. You can just emulate but then you have a moral issue. Please spend the next few posts justifying that you're not a thief somehow because the games are old.
nothing was lost, its frickin ancient 1s and 0s b***h, no further explanation required lol
Then make more threads about how butthurt you are then lol
not the OP lmao, old games literally cannot be pirated they're old, no longer selling and devs aren't seeing a cent it's just a free trial baby
And here you have an example (and the VC) of where they are still purchasable moron.
VC is actual copyright infringement but, emulation is illeeeeegal, nintendo should send C&D to nintendo. for real.
They are selling them though? And those old devs are at the head of Nintendo now so yes, they are receiving that money.
What? They are selling lol.
Shit, 17 of the genesis games are on eShop and all N64 ones in Wii U

Emulation is and will always be morally correct
fpbp /thread Based? Me
Cringe post. But I guess that's what the op was talking about.
that's bait
No, it isn't. If you think it's bait it shows you're just lying to yourself about it. You people find it so hard to admit it's theft. just do it and stop bragging about it.
>moral
Yes my morals are different to yours, checkmate.
>steal
Yes, goodluck trying to find me, I'm behind 7 proxies.
I own every 64 game I need, Wii VC versions of them along with Goldeneye. I'm set, frick Nintendo.
>this thread again
it's all so tiresome.
>a whole new online expansion pack for $15 bucks more
>no excuse because nes/snes online didn't need that
It's days like these that remind me that sometimes piracy is okay.
>mfw gonna sub for a month so I can get the N64 controller then just play whatever game I want on retroarch
$15/month
>make new service
>offer it for additional fee
>entitled nintendies have an absolute meltdown over having to pay anything to get more stuff
yikes
>just emulate it in yuzu, nerd
We don't know the price yet, but if it's too expensive maybe I'll sub for a month, play everything I want and then end the subscription. 64 has a rather limited library so they will probably stretch it out one a month. If they can get the rest of the Rare games that would be ideal too
>If they can get the rest of the Rare games that would be ideal too
Oh god imagine the Conker's Bad Fur Day online multiplayer with Ganker
wait, it's a separate subscription?
what the actual fricking shit
>$15
[citation needed]
I'll pay for the same reason I'll probably eventually get a Steam Deck - portability. Does depend on the price and the content though, no Sonic 1 at release? Weird choice
Doesn't it have Sonic 2 though?
Sonic 2 is better.
I'm buying KOTOR for in bed play without messing with a modpack
This image scared the tendie in the thread
>broken AI
>stuttering despite having a beefy system
>many games don't run well at all regardless of settings/resolution
no thanks.
Neo TWEWY, Skyward Sword HD worked on release full 60fps for me
Kirby and BOTW2 will also work flawless for me and days before release even.
>BOTW2
Why pretend when BOTW had SEVERE AI issues on emulators?
They don't. You don't even notice the bugs bugs because a broken version is all you have.
still better than yuzu
Emulation is always been a fricking meme.
Ok? Then don’t you fricking moron
It’s an OPTION
Is it every N64 game or not? How will they work with rare games like Goldeneye?
what are you moronic?
>can't answer the question
rare is owned by MS. MS won't give nintardo anything without the asiatics bending over backwards to appease that big american wiener
Obviously not every game you moron, do you know how many fricking games the N64 had?
Join PC master race
Lol keep making excuses poorgays. I bet you think the controller is too expensive too lmao.
nintendo is shit
i have no idea what its saying but context is enough
>Im glad Nintendo allows us to play his N64 classic games and also genesis ones.
>Only by paying aditional money over the online subscription which already offers an excelent service.
figured, thanks hermano
50 bucks plus subscription tip for a 3button genesis controller..
that being said, i would consider a master system controller providing they re-engineer the dpad to not disintegrate around the edges and fall out
I'm not spending $50 on a 3 button Genesis controller
>paying for renting video games
>paying for renting 20-30 years old emulated video games
What's next, paying full price for 3 emulated roms? Oh wait
Guys my fingers still smell like onion from preparing my dinner. Anyone have a good way to get rid of the smell?
Finger some chick
Most of the people itt are being ironic, right?
>Not pokemon stadium
I hope its just because they are working a gb <> n64 connection emulating the expansion pack.
You can assume that TPCi will be difficult about it, but Snap being there is rather unexpected but probably just for promoting the sequel
I'm still baffled at this.
They shill metroid this hard (which I'm ok with), but don't add VC for at least the GBA so people can play Fusion, Zero Mission and Super Metroid all on one platform?
>Like 8 N64 games at launch
Are you fricking shitting me
