dunno what you mean, it works great if you have a decent network setup
i have some shitty $200 router and a house I wired for cat6, got a 500ft spool of it from microcenter for $80 and a box of connectors and crimpers for another $20 to wire everything myself, took about 150ft of cable to route from my room upstairs with my pc through the walls to my TV and router downstairs where the link is
out of the hundreds of hours i've streamed stuff from my gaming pc upstairs to my tv downstairs with the link i've had it fail me 1 time and boot me out of the game and i run it on "beautiful" settings through steam remote play
best $5 box to play pc games on a TV
maybe you were using wifi or something? i've never tried that
Jesus christ that looks awful. Not only is it blurry and washed out as frick, but the resolution, holy frick man. Either the TV is just so shit or you've scaled the frick out of it, in any case you should have a nice day.
Yes and I do enjoy it. I just wish there was a way to start the pc and navigate the desktop with the controller. That would make it pretty much a console experience. But right now I always have to fiddle with the mouse, kinda annoying.
>Have Steam start up with your computer >Have a setup where the analog sticks/touchpad/motion controls control the mouse when a button is held down.
That's what I do and it's comfy asf
I did but it screen tears real bad and audio goes in and out, not all games have this problem but i've played with every setting imaginable for the ones that do. 70" LG tv with hdmi 2.1
I had to RMA my motherboard, so right now I'm using an older one with a weaker CPU and RAM. As soon as the new one comes back, I'm gonna hook my PC up to my 8K TV and play Tetris Effect.
Frick no, got a shitty tv that has more than half a second delay, cant run at 144hz, and isnt as comfy as sitting on a wooden chair. Good for you if you can run that type of set up. I dont need a fancy room dominating rig plus screen. I'm happy with a desk and 27 inches of perfectly fine monitor. Why sperge on something compleatly unnecessary when there are plently of things more worth while than spending 500+ dollars so sit on a couch or lazy boy to do the same thing im already doing.
Its cool for games locked at 60 but anything above that is kind of bad on my current 4k tv and I'm not gonna blow 3 grand on a tv just to get a 120fs refresh rate.
Just get a raspberry pi 4 and put steam link on it. Hook it to your TV and done. It’s literally so easy s snoy could do it. Let that sink in, you ARE smarter than a snoy, right Anon?
(OP)
Yeah but its a crt and its used exclusively for anime. setup rn is >32" 4k monitor >21" verticle 1080 monitor >some sort of hitachi tv >sony pvm for my ps2
its the highest level of cozy
Lights from behind the TV light the room without any possibility of glare.
Aside from that, it's zoomer design choices to light the room with LED strips.
Yes, but I haven't played any games on it. I just needed a way to view blacked with an adblocker. And before you try saying any shit about me, I'm happily married. It's purely for getting off.
i dont bother having a neat space becuase i have crippling OCD and nothing ever feels "clean". ate pizza on friday and then washed my hands for five straight minutes and even today it steels feels contaminated. i fricking hate my life and i wish i had a clean room like OPs pic (even if its from reddit or some shit)
>no blinds or curtains at all >screen directly in front of window (huge reflections) >has to share the room with someone using the TV
The idea of having the computer and TV in the same place just seems completely moronic.
When I was a kid we had the family computer like this, and it would always piss my parents off if I used it in the evenings while they were watching TV.
You have to wear headphones, and microphones and vc in general are impossible without being rude to everyone else in the room AND to the unsuspecting souls in game that get to hear all the other shit happening in the room like some south american kid with his xbox controller mic and 12 family members all talking at once in the same room.
Add a wife or kids into this equation and the PC is unusable.
This has to be some lonely homosexual's apartment.
PC in my bedorom, TV in living room via 20m hdmi cable. it's a small place so the wireless mouse/keyboard combo work from the living room. very comfy no regrets.
i guess this little guy counts
yup
Is it acceptable latency
yes, when using ethernet
it's fine for couch-co-op or watching movies/youtube from your computer, but I wouldn't play sweaty games with it
That thing was a piece of shit. Only worked half the time and lagged bad.

pic related
Also got one when they were $7. I'm about to move to a bigger place so it'll finally come in handy.
homie. Literally just hdmi cable. How massive is your house ?
It is a bit redundant, thanks to Steam link app.
Lmfao yes
lmfao whats funny bro i wanna laugh too
Yeah

this dudes still rocking a vcr i doubt he gives a shit
Calm down sperg, you're not on reddit anymore
dont do this if you have pets
nice
>QLED
Should I bother?
of course I did. 75" LG cx BABY
Nah, I have 2x1080p and 1x1440p monitors which is more than enough for me. Plus sitting on a couch with MKB looks like it will frick up your back.
>Plus sitting on a couch with MKB looks like it will frick up your back.
>not using a lazyboy and a homemade desk for your wireless keyboard and mouse
Yes, with a 7.5m HDMI cord. Quite happy with it, currently playing Okami at 4K and it looks great.
Yes and I do enjoy it. I just wish there was a way to start the pc and navigate the desktop with the controller. That would make it pretty much a console experience. But right now I always have to fiddle with the mouse, kinda annoying.

Nope I have had sex

my 3rd monitor is a tv, does that count? its just use for videos though
>You DID hook your gaming PC up to the TV, right Ganker?
I have an LG Oled C1 48' as an monitor.
You do Youtube?
Hi Andres Vidoza
the quintessential numale-söymale bug-pod
I built my pc specifically for my tv. is it sub-optimal in some ways? sure. but it chevks all my boxes so whatever.
Nah I don't even remember the last time I've used my tv
>THE tv
Poorgay detected. You should have an 8K tv dedicated to your top gaming PC.
I get a new monitor every other week so no, not usally.
are there still latency issues or has technology fixed all that now
I sold my TV since I don't watch it anymore.
how do I do that ??????
I had to RMA my motherboard, so right now I'm using an older one with a weaker CPU and RAM. As soon as the new one comes back, I'm gonna hook my PC up to my 8K TV and play Tetris Effect.

I do have my TV hooked up to my PC, but I don't use it often. I ran the cable under the floor tho so it's nicer.
Its cool for games locked at 60 but anything above that is kind of bad on my current 4k tv and I'm not gonna blow 3 grand on a tv just to get a 120fs refresh rate.
Nope, can't see the fricking text on the screen even at max zoom so I can't chat with my niggies from the couch.
>TV
>Window glare
Disgusting
only powerful pcs can use a good tv as monitor
an oled works best on console particularly ps5
Just get a raspberry pi 4 and put steam link on it. Hook it to your TV and done. It’s literally so easy s snoy could do it. Let that sink in, you ARE smarter than a snoy, right Anon?
Pretty damn cozy and yes I have indeed.
tidy up your bed holy shit
shut up mom
Don't listen to that other moron the bed looks fine, nice room
no, I have a Steam Deck if I want to play on the couch
Do you mean to watch movies?
Imagine spending thousands of dollars on something that isn't even 144hz
I do with two of my computers. My main just has two monitors but the other trickle down ones are hooked up to tvs
>i HATE things being sharp and easy to see

Does this actually improve the viewing experience? Seems like it'd just be distracting.
Lights from behind the TV light the room without any possibility of glare.

No i hook up my dick to a girls butthole instead
Yes
yes
where do you sit if its pushed up to your bed like that?
Also that video is not funny.
I don't see any cables. How did you link it?
Yeah, but my PC isn't powerful enough for 4K and 1080p looks like shit past 32 inches. TV is a 50 inch.
no, wifi is a thing
Not only that, I have two computers hooked up to my living room tv
Frick no, that's what consoles are for.
for the TV
grow up you zoomzoom homosexual, that looks AWFUL
this
also the purple matches your bussy while getting railed by bbc
I have a 40-inch 60hz 4K TV and a 27-inch 170hz 1440p IPS monitor hooked to my PC, both in my room, pretty comfy
I don't own a TV
Well yeah, a tv is basically just a monitor but bigger and cheaper.
Yes.
Yes, but I haven't played any games on it. I just needed a way to view blacked with an adblocker. And before you try saying any shit about me, I'm happily married. It's purely for getting off.
I have a TV hooked up to it but it's off/disabled until I want to watch something on it.

Yes. I have a 60" curved thing that weighs like 200lbs. Haven't sat at my desk in like 6 months.

thats a comfy living room
i am jelly you gay
how much you pay rent in NYC
>reverse image search turns up a bunch of clickbait lists
gee anon
op a homosexual again
Ummm if I put my computer on my gaming tv, how would I watch Netflix!?!?
How do 4k TVs handle 1080p media? Black bars? Upscaling?
I dont have the disk space nor the patience to torrent 4k remuxes.
Daft Punk is overrated.
Yep, it's on a hdmi switch though
