More like wearing the boots, but using ANY of the methods to remove the Blind.

I was an orc, didn't even realize they really did mean 100% blind until I replayed it.

Blind was bugged and increased your attack accuracy instead of decreasing it. The boots not only made you run fast, they made you never miss.

I played an Argonian and couldn't even wear them.

beast races not being able to wear gloves and boots was pretty brutal in that game.

They can wear gloves, just not closed helmets and boots.

          ah right it was helmets

I remember getting disappointed a lot when I found a cool items and they were boots. I found those Boots of the Apostle by accident and was so bummed when I couldn't use them.

Bethesda doesn't know how to end games.
    >You walk into Dagoth Ur's bedroom
    >It's brown like everything else in the game
    >You tell him to go frick himself
    >He starts acting like every other humanoid enemy in the game
    >You kill him
    >Yay the end

Did you actually beat the game or did you just make that bullshit up to look cool?

    If you:
    >used alchemy exploits
    >used Creeper/Mudcrab merchants
    >used vendor inventory manipulation exploits
    >used the Boots of Blinding Speed trick
    >used or sold DB Assassin armor
    >used the Divayth Fyr armor theft exploit
you did NOT beat the game.

I know how the combat mechanics work, but the game still plays like total ass. I think it would be a lot better as a turn-based game.

Being blind also increases your chance to hit, which tbh is actually kinda funny and I wish the code fix didn't patch it.

Could be justified in a 'blind' fighter kind of roleplay.

Whats the best way to play this on pc these days bros? I've seen a few projects around. I wouldn't mind a mostly vanilla experience either or but I'm assuming the official version is probably trash like usual?

as someone who started with an unmodded version: definitely something that increases draw distance

      Tamriel Rebuilt

openmw just werks with great stability and performance and has some nice optional features
vanilla with lots of mods has higher potential if you want to mod hard although many mods do work with openmw

      Anonymous

openmw + patch for purists + tamriel rebuilt
I also use better bodies + better morrowind armor + better clothes
I know you said mostly vanilla, but tamriel rebuilt is really high quality, and worth exploring at any point in the game.

Jump + a 1pt CE feather fall enchantment, mark/recall/intervention, siltstrider/boat, mage guild teleports + propylon index was such a fun way to get around the island. I feel like I got to know where things were way better than just clicking a point on a map and fast travelling to it.

I purchased Morrowind when it was released and have had it installed permanently on every pc I have owned. I've completed Morrowind more times than the number of years you are alive.

    you know what
    im fine with it
i understand the implication of travelling through the island like a crackhead would ruin your game experience, but its big enough for you to not cheese right through it

YOU DIDNT BEAT THE GAME IF YOU USED A VENDOR EXPLOIT WITH ALCHEMY

      >SELLING STUFF YOU CRAFTED FOR MONEY?

      kys moron

      everything in Morrowind is "exploit"
you can fricking pause game and heal during combat, that's why moronic boomers like it in the first place

vendor exploit is using alchemy to boost your personality to the point that vendors give you items for 1 gold and will buy any item you have for their entire life savings
