Still not as bad as french. I literally cannot take it serious. I literally do not believe that there is a civilization iver a thousand years old that has had and still has such a pozzed language. My brain must be broken or something as everyone else thinks of it as a latin language, but whenever I hear it, it sounds like iy's spoken by a baby
The same thing happens in SMAC with Miriam and Corozon. They're aggressive and thus suicidal, and nobody likes them because nobody agrees with their agendas.
>Personal agendas were a mistake
They're fine, sort of.
They're supposed to make the AI follow a position that helps them the best. His being to get luxuries to maximise his bonus.
... the AI just doesn't actually make benefit of that.
What do you mean? They sound like howler monkeys. Especially women.
I don't think their language is the problem, but the moronic directors.
This. If Japanese people sounded like they do in anime I'd never want to be sat near one.
It's all about direction.
played my foist longer game and I dont know what exactly Im doing wrong. I put the difficulty on king thinking i had got a handle on the new mechanics, I had what I thought was a good start.
I got war declared on me several times and both times they sent almost no units at me and gave up the way they declared instantly, I even took a few cities a few times and had rome begging for peace over and over again in one war that they declared. the AI then began snowballing hard and now they are so advanced that my line troops and bombards dont even damage their modern cities that have some kind of machine gun truck defences, so my game that I thought was going very well is basically over unless I want to sit and do nothing till I catch up on the tech tree. even though they are so advanced though, they still dont seem to be attacking me and they still have lots of unupgraded units. im thinking of concluding my game early by declaring war on everyone just to see if they actually send units after me
I feel like i need to turn up the difficulty or something, but at the same time that obviously isnt an option since I sucked so hard at teching up at the difficulty im at
another thing ive noticed is that investing in ship building seems to be pointless. Ive always liked building coastal cities and having a naval tradition in civ V, but in civ 6 its a big investment and I never see any non-pirate ships, and the AI seems averse to making coastal cities which makes ships a lot less useful
also I had some pretty fricked up glitches, for example for several turns after I noticed, my income said +86 gold but my gold stocks were not actually going up at all every turn
>Nu tam hau chang go viet nam, tudu su vong heu su quam, tudu nong gong himg ming sing ching chang, zut you ow ow zachong!
cute
vietnamese is such an unpleasant language to listen to
Japanese is the only Asian language that sounds nice
shut up weeb b***h
all eastern languages are a blight on the ears. especially greek.
Cantonese is lovely, and when you understand what's being said, Mandarin doesn't sound bad.
>Cantonese is lovely
Absolutely fricking not, are you joking?
No, I'm being serious. It just depends on the speaker controlling the harshness of their tone.
What do you mean? They sound like howler monkeys. Especially women.
I don't think their language is the problem, but the moronic directors.
>t. Chink
>t. weeb
>t. Chink
As if Chinese is much better
Exact opposite

His pissy attitude makes him doomed to fail in most of my games, even the AI hates him. Personal agendas were a mistake
Well the real life version of those guys were hated by everybody too. So in a weird way the game reflects reality.
That's a misconception
Ais were suicidal even before civ 6
The same thing happens in SMAC with Miriam and Corozon. They're aggressive and thus suicidal, and nobody likes them because nobody agrees with their agendas.
idk I find him super easy to befriend, even if he declares a surprise war early on you
He was friends with Teddy in a recent game despite declaring war on his continent, AI relationships are weird
>Personal agendas were a mistake
They're fine, sort of.

just give him his bananas and he's a pretty good buddy after that
i would make a monkey joke but then i remembered i'm not on /misc/
wrong civ, you want the french for that
>my heart flutters
This, turns he was just a Chuuni all along
wait why does he have a goatee
U MAD BRO?
Gilgachad
It's amazing how far the AI regressed from Civ 5
The diplomacy too, the only reason you ever need to interact with an AI is to trade
jesus christ shut the frick up already
civ 5 AI is worse than 6 and that's objective
The AI in 5 was even more moronic, ditch the rose-tinted glasses.
Would you be interested to make a trade agreement with England?
Well, some them. Let's make a trade.
>While others are reaching for the stars, I am wollowing in the slop
the aztec guy was way more psycho in civ 5
