I got that itch and one of my friends gifted me battlebit remastered. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Nothing comes close to the real games.
The problem with the game is the absurd amount of morons you get on your team. How many squad leaders put down beacons? or even talk? Never even got a single useful callout, all I got were morons rping their death into their mic.
Everyone jerked off the gunplay in BFV but it was stale as frick.
The vehicles were 10x as annoying as previous games too, somehow the tanks/planes were even stronger than BF1 and the ones in BF1 were already way overtuned compared to BF4
Being Battlefield vegana with disabled women was moronic too.
>it was stale as frick.
To be fair it was one of the only fedeeming aspects for that dogshot game. It's the singular aspect that kept people playing and DICE fumbled it up almost a year later, killing the game for good.
>5'5 vs 6'2
I had more fun on BF3 but that's probably because by the time BF4 launched, I was already getting tired of the formula.
Not really a manlet, just average. No need to be a 6'4 roided monster to be SF, on the contrary the long hikes in full kit will kill your back and your knees much faster when you're a huge guy. Turns out you can't really train your joints and your spine to be stronger. But being a manlet isn't an advantage either, you won't be able to carry as much gear for a long time. The optimal soldier body is a fit average dude who can walk and run a lot.
They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't start catering to them and overtuning them in later games.
The balance in BF4 was decent after the patches mostly.
Wrong. People who love to claim that BF4 is the greatest shooter probably have never played any BF before BF4 and never got to experience BF4 during its launch, BF4 is the most overrated BF alongside BF1 even despite the many improvements done during CTE due to its fundamental flaws on top of the poor quality of the DLCs.
Bold of you to assume that it didn't have the "same effect" because it shared the same setting as other shooters, BF1942 was revolutionary at the time because there was nothing else like it. If anything, BF2 continued that effect to some extent.
But I did, with my Dad
I even remember staying up in my room and getting grounded for playing bot lobbies in 1942 past midnight dying laughing, lost the privilege of having the PC in my room after that kek
The Pancor Jackhammer was my fav BF2 weapon, I remember hating LMGs because of the accuracy and I remember loving the MEC flag for some reason
2142 was fun because of Titan mode and I remember my Dad and his clan teaching me about whipping the mouse back and forth to wiggle the drop pods onto buildings
Maybe don't be a bitter b***h and a moronic jaded boomer living 20+ years in the past

Yeah, as a kid.
Maybe if you have replayed BF1942 you'd probably understand why it was special instead of claiming that didn't have the "same effect as BF2 had".
Like I said, you have never played 2142 during its prime nor you have an in-depth view of how flawed it was compared previous games, otherwise you wouldn't say that the series "hit its stride" with it.
People like bf1 not because of gameplay, but because of untopped immersion, I actually think this game is piece of art, but piece of garbage when it comes to playing it right now
>1 is fun
I disagree. 1 is so brainless it just feels like Battlefront: WW1 edition. I legitimately can't comprehend what makes people still play that game for thousands of hours. It feels like the game has no depth whatsoever. Just running and gunning with the occasional use of class-specific gadgets
Visuals are great, really sells that you are the gear in the big machine type of feel, you get immersed in being a grunt with a gun in big meatgrinder, that's all, also you should demonstrate how other games are that much deeper beyond running and shooting people
>weapon mastery matters >holding angles >map control >recoil control >vehicles take skill
All these apply to BF3. Not so much to 4 since it fricked with infantry/vehicle balance too much and had shitty maps to boot.
I think they're just conditioned by 3 and 4 for medic to be mega rambo with heals, the best ARs and grenade launchers. So 1 takes some of their excessive power away. Even though they added some really good medic weapons like the fedorov later on.
>insanely op vehicles >balance doesnt exist >literal rng bullet spread on top of supression makes gunfights dogshit and who sees who first braindead >game rewards sitting and camping with lmg bipod >some maps insanely unbalanced especially rush ones
Yeah no lol
>Lock onto a jet with ground to air missile >He pops flares >He kills 20 people >Lock on again and fire >It hits for 5 damage >He runs off at the speed of sound before I can even reload and repairs in midair (while killing 20 more people) >Repeat
Why did DICE do this
Air prostitutes b***hed non stop so they caved in and now you get the exhilarating gameplay of being instantly blown up in any ground vehicle when you go 50 meters outside of spawn.
>haven't been as good as normal
His vids are just IRL LARPing with Admin with some shilling thrown in. The guy can be entertaining but let's not pretend he's making anything other than slop.

A lot of them are super formulaic
It's usually a bit of shooting into rambling and sponsor spam
Even Forgotten Weapons is leaning into shilling with weapon giveaways
how do you enjoy Battlefield games if you have terrible aim? normally FPS games have dedicated shitter weapons/classes like TF2 Pyro or an RPG, but there's nothing like that here.
Battlefield 4 stands a couple feet in front of the other FPS games? Why?
Idgi
because it’s numero uno
>improved all aspects of the already great bf3
i agree
its a masterpiece
>You know it’s true
>get that battlefield itch
>there is nothing to play
what do?
suffer
I got that itch and one of my friends gifted me battlebit remastered. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Nothing comes close to the real games.
>frustrating
Battlebit is fun and sovlful, you just got filtered, it's okay.
The problem with the game is the absurd amount of morons you get on your team. How many squad leaders put down beacons? or even talk? Never even got a single useful callout, all I got were morons rping their death into their mic.
having shit artstyle doesn't make games sovilufil or whatever the frick its that
BF1 is still good
titanfall 2 is the best fps ever made
I want titanfall but 64 player
Oh but they did one
Kind of a monkey paw situation innit?
Shame the netcode was dog shit.
Not even close. Worse in basically every way to the first one.
BF4 is an airforce SF larper?
counter strike mogs basically every other fps 1000000000 to 1
BF1 is better.
>Battlefield V
Everyone jerked off the gunplay in BFV but it was stale as frick.

why must i be a manlet?
genetic lottery, compensate by going to the gym and acting like a tough guy
>acting like a rough guy
Uh oh, manlet rage.
A lot of real SF are manlets.
>A lot of real SF are manlets
this, or at the very least upper 5'. You don't want to be a tall heavy dude because SF is a lot of cardio and climbing.
>5'5 vs 6'2

anything under 6 feet, and I'm being generous here, is a manlet to Ganker kek
>TFW 5'6
It's not too bad for an Asian dude btw
They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't start catering to them and overtuning them in later games.

42 didn't have the same effect BF2 had. There were already a shitton of WW2 fps around at the time including Allied Assault.
Bold of you to assume that it didn't have the "same effect" because it shared the same setting as other shooters, BF1942 was revolutionary at the time because there was nothing else like it. If anything, BF2 continued that effect to some extent.
Didn't care for BF1942
BF2 and 2142 were when the series hit its stride
You didn't care about it because you never got to play it, which is understandable.
>2142
Someone didn't play it during launch I see 🙂
But I did, with my Dad

1 is fun so long as you enjoy running around with and SMG or sniping. If you're a medic/support main you probably dont like it as much as other BFs.
>support
I mostly play Bar/Chauchat and I'm top of the scoreboard every game
Support is completely broken in this game, you've got infinite grenade
>1 is fun
I disagree. 1 is so brainless it just feels like Battlefront: WW1 edition. I legitimately can't comprehend what makes people still play that game for thousands of hours. It feels like the game has no depth whatsoever. Just running and gunning with the occasional use of class-specific gadgets

People get mad about BF1 because they can't be the everyman with any gun
Stop using medic guns in close quarters
I think they're just conditioned by 3 and 4 for medic to be mega rambo with heals, the best ARs and grenade launchers. So 1 takes some of their excessive power away. Even though they added some really good medic weapons like the fedorov later on.
Bf4 was just a reskinned bf3 with no soul, sorry zoomer
renegade firestorm whennnnnnnnnn

It's call of duty with some vehicles and objectives thrown about(especially if you try to play it nowadays), i wasted 8 euros on this turd.
The best FPS was Tribes: Ascend.
You just had to be there.
battlefield died after bf2 special forces my zoomer friend
>fps where you get more points for humiliating your opponents
>battlefield 4
hey here's your ammo, go get it
The callouts in 4 were boring as frick. 3 had waaay better banter
>I'm getting fricked up the ass over here!
THEY'RE ON ME LIKE FLIES ON SHIT
Grand Thumb's videos haven't been as good as normal lately, except for his becoming deadly in the mountains series.

Bad Company 2 is the best Battlefield game
Based and Bad Companypilled. There is literally no other game like it. Damn shame the servers are going down this year.
