is it me or the enemies gained a frickton of damage bonuses in act 3 onwards? alkso did the dev suddenly add blood? i don't remember this game having blood splatters earlier. I played on normal. gameplay itself is pretty solid, mix of tactical and oldschool. reloading mechanics are a bit finicky but easy to get used to. it also implements bullet drop for added realism too.
other than the lag due to the effects and the somewhat strange momentum (martyr has the horizontal speed of a motorcycle when running and can literally jump tens of meters or more if you have the double jump addon) i don't really find anything objectionable about it.

It kinda is. Dual-SMGs really pours on the DPS, but the ammo economy is so trash and the reload is so long it can really only be useful in conjunction with an endgame upgrade. Even then, there are better guns to use that upgrade with.

Hell even Ruina with it's fricked up city that runs offf literal suffering and shit like the warp train are nothing because there's still hope. What hope is there for the citadel? I guess killing the sleeping god would be a start. Along with making the angels frick off so the remnants of humanity and demons build something to artificially rotate the Earth again.
I'm not sure if angels like Lysander are just 'demons disguised as angels' or if Tycho would be right to let it all end by letting the sleeping god awaken.

Maybe there's multiple cities in the twilight? The only way things can get better is if they repair the Edelweiss and just frick off to another planet, I think.

Once you realise they're pitched-up Doom and C&C sound effects, it's just funny. I'll exclude the sound enemies make when you hit them with the petrification gun though because that's horrifying.
I found it without cheats. I think it's in one of the secret levels. Tycho should have it for purchase around halfway through the game if you didn't get the free one.

gameplay itself is pretty solid, mix of tactical and oldschool. reloading mechanics are a bit finicky but easy to get used to. it also implements bullet drop for added realism too.
other than the lag due to the effects and the somewhat strange momentum (martyr has the horizontal speed of a motorcycle when running and can literally jump tens of meters or more if you have the double jump addon) i don't really find anything objectionable about it.

UE4 has a ridiculous amount of documentation, an easy to use visual scripting system, lots of places to get help from, and the engine works well for a simple FPS game since that's what the Unreal Engine was originally built for.

Hell even Ruina with it's fricked up city that runs offf literal suffering and shit like the warp train are nothing because there's still hope. What hope is there for the citadel? I guess killing the sleeping god would be a start. Along with making the angels frick off so the remnants of humanity and demons build something to artificially rotate the Earth again.
I'm not sure if angels like Lysander are just 'demons disguised as angels' or if Tycho would be right to let it all end by letting the sleeping god awaken.
Think about the events of the first game.
