you can just form your own pug for MC
the content is 15 years old, extremely easy, and not hard. Of course they're gonna sell runs for people with no gear or absolutely terrible players
good luck pugging bwl (randoms having cloaks LOL) or anything pass that, boomer
You could leave out some of that unnecessary redundancy.
selling raids etc. was a thing back in vanilla so nothing has changed, did you play back then?
I don’t even remember people selling runs in wraith this is some modern wow/retail cancer because of the fricked up economy and shitty moderation.
Like people spamming trade chat with nothing but run shilling shits just awful. Why do I almost never see that in FF14 for example? 24/7 raid run shilling or level boosting shilling WoW is in a sad state.
because no one cares about raids or gear in ffxiv
Because turbo casuals can do 99% of the content in ffxiv and most somehow can't even do heroic raids in wow let alone mythic
>I don’t even remember people selling runs in wraith this is some modern wow/retail cancer because of the fricked up economy and shitty moderation
<G U I L D> is doing Ony at 7 tonight selling druid, rogue, hunter and warlock T2 helms 100g if it drops
You mean like this? The raid tier has been on farm for months its an easy way to pad out guild coffers. My guild has 3 tanks and 4 shamans at 8/8 tier, of course we are going to sell the pieces to shitters who can farm gold all day but cant get into a guild or a pug
You may have alzheimers
Not really, selling runs became a thing with burning crusade and ZA release, aka raid that you actually wanted to do to get bear
But that aside we talking about how wotlk kids pretended that no one ever sold raids and shit
ZG had a mount too
No one can be THAT moronic and compare 100% drop with zg farm
Well, as expected from wotlk kid though
>wotlk kid
Wrath was 12 years ago, you really need to let go of this
>Not really, selling runs became a thing with burning crusade
No. My guild has 5 slots reserved in BWL for selling, and we regularly sold the edge of madness event in one of our 2-3 ZG runs.
No one cares about your fake memories wotlk shitter who only saw "vanilla" on nostr
I'm a 30 year old wizard anon, getting addicted to vanilla wow my freshman year of high school is why i am where i am today.
It's showing signs of decline. Potions are sold under margin because not enough buyers, alt leveling items don't sell as well anymore, generally less people at mailboxes etc. BWL might bring some people back.
I fricking wish this was true. Fire resistance potions are still going for over 5g per on Benediction and it makes raiding a pain in the ass since I need to spend at least 10g if I don't want to farm it myself just for Ragnaros.
If anything because BWL is coming out, the prices for everything raid related has sky rocketed. Also I made like 300g from selling arcanite bars I bought at 50g and selling them for double after the BWL announcement.
>cuck buys pots
lol homosexual. i haven't spent a single copper on raid consumes. must suck to suck
Classic WoW is not Vanilla WoW. Classic is a zoomer edition by nu-Blizzard. I think every competent player has dropped it by now.
This is the opposite of the truth.
>classic wow is not actually wow I promise the game was actually good when I was a 10 year old tasteless, clueless homosexual
I've never been able to get in to the end game in WoW, or any other MMO for that matter.
What's the appeal of the endgame grind? I like everything up to it, the world and lore is great.
>What's the appeal of the endgame grind?
The gear finally looks nice, you get to be head and shoulders over other players in WSG and theres this feeling of "I made it" after a hundred hours of working on your character. Just reaching the point of raid logging for epics made me feel like some S class adventurer from a generic isekai that doesnt get out of bed in the morning for anything less than the end of the world.
For me once your guild has a good amount of maxed PvE characters, the real end game is PvP.
That was only happening because the server-side software was constantly evolving, often the databases couldn't be converted or it was an extremely tedious process that could create several other problems. You can find many vanilla private servers that didn't have a reset in several years now.
classic isn't vanilla
It is though
>layers completely changed economy
>larger server pop cap
>1.12 talents means almost every class is buffed
>much better addons for handholding through raids
and community stuff like coordinated ony buffs and way more bis grinding + consumes
>no they didn't lol
>which doesn't really change the game itself
>see above
>addons and macros in retail vanilla were infinitely more broken than anything we have now
cry more, #nOcHaNgEs homosexual
>infinitely spamming layers for lotus, veins and reagent mobs didn't have an impact
lol ok fgt. you could even layer in raids to farm extra bosses
and yes, 1.12 talents gives you an edge
no in classic not being an exceedingly geared fury warrior, frost mage, sub rogue or shadow priest means that you suck.
Forget about playing Paladins, Hunters and Druids unless you like being used for 1 mediocre talent.
MMOs are shit because of the people who play them today, not the games themselves. I never bothered with classic because I knew it would only be fun to level to 60 and that's it. The endgame would be trash because of people who play mmos today.
> The endgame would be trash because of people who play mmos today.
Painfully true, sometime around 2010 MMO players changed from fairly chill people to autistic faux elitist min-maxers, permanently fricking the genre
>Painfully true, sometime around 2010 MMO players changed from fairly chill people to autistic faux elitist min-maxers, permanently fricking the genre
Dude, this shit happened the second wotlk rolled out and allowed you to see others people talents
Private servers handled this matter better. When server reached a certain limit, just reset everything. People didn't stop playing at all.
Which server is Ganker approved?
Wikis ruined MMOs. It's a goddamn fricking shame. There isn't a single thing about any MMO you can't just look up on some wiki, every item and mob datamined, every strategy written down, tested and perfected.
What a disappointing end to an entire genre. I remember playing WoW and imagining how fricking amazing the MMOs of the future will be, like what if they release WoW 2? You can forget about all that now.
This. After thottbot and addons like questhelper mmos became essentially pointless. Most of my positive experiences with classic have happened because of the lack of dungeon finder.
But thottbot was made for vanilla wow...
meta culture has permanently made new games impossible to be good since having fun is now to the detriment of you being bad.
At least TBC made meme-specs viable.
What's the low level twink items looking like nowadays? I bought out my realm's AH when everyone was selling <1% droprate rares for like 5g a pop and now have a bank inventory full of 19-29 items.
