Uma gameplay loop and grind is shit and I dont understand how people continue to whale in it and it makes money

what is the gameplay like?
You train the horse girl's stats (you decide either to boost her speed, her intelligence, her stamina, etc.. think of digimon world on ps1) and participate in races, sometimes she gets sick and needs to spend days resting, you go to the beach for double bonus or decide to participate in other races to boost her popularity.
The outcome in regards to the bonuses, events and even the races is mostly random and even if you're doing well there's a big chance you're still gonna lose and lose all the progress you made (their stats reset with every run you do, the only permanent stats are from equipment, bonus cards and being enhanced with dupes).
It's actually entertaining at first but it gets really fucking tedious to do races every day because it takes a long ass time to finish a run, and even then getting fucked by rng isn't fun, being only in Japanese also makes it more difficult to choice what things to buff and what not.
Yeah its just way too fucking time consuming. Its fun when you read horse story during the first run and then some of the RNG events you missed on later ones. But even with full skip it takes way too much time for one horse training only to be hit with random sickness and need to drop the bricked run
I was only logging in for the login bonuses before i dropped it (dmm got autistic and blocked any non-japanese connection and im not gonna use a vpn for it).
Maybe if it gets a global release I'll try it again, but i don't think it will happen.

It's actually a coin flip and dependant on your ISP.
It usually takes like 20 minutes to do a full run if you're on skip everything mode and doesn't involve much RNG aside from the numbers you'll get in the end, it's really hard to brick a scenario run. Rather than an athlete raising game it soon becomes a team and resource management game once you get into breeding for specific genes and Champions meeting tournaments.
You have to realise, the japs love fucking power pros. Tedious garbage to make a slightly better horse thanks to RNG is all they want, for some reason.
The girls are cute, the story was fun for the first couple of chapters before I dropped it because they kneeled to chinks, but man, I don't miss it. All I want now is a figure of my fucking horse, and they still haven't made one because she's in 1* hell.
On the plus side, the koikatsu mods for the horses are pretty good, so you can make your own porn.
