He's alright but there was literally no point having him around for Endwalker
Just make him part of the gang already, he's obviously going to join and then sacrifice himself for whatever reason the story needs

          >Zenos dies

Probably don't even need to go that far, Zenos will probably reappear through some ascian/echo bullshit within 6.x to slap his voidsent reaper buddy

    he was shit in EW

he was shit in Stormblood, practically non-existent in Shadowbringers, and just sort of there in Endwalker.

    He was neat in Stormblood.
He was FANTASTIC post-stormblood and pre-EW, but then he got his body back and all of that went to hell
In Endwalker he fails fricking miserably as a villain, then he stops pretending to be a villain and instantly becomes neat again.
The devs know it, too, his line in Garlemald says it all. "Fighting again someone you already beat really doesn't do it for you, does it?"

His death played an important role in his motivation to fight the WoL again. All he could think about was fighting the WoL again. I think when I die, the only thing I really will miss is playing video game.

It was probably mostly that we got to see an actually shitty antagonist with Meteion/s and Hermes. And before someone says "NO MY WAIFU ISN'T AN ANTAGONIST IT'S THE COMBINED SORROW OF THE SOULS OF THE UNIVERSE!", no, you're just a moron.

Meteion and Hermes weren't shitty antagonists 😉

Zenos always was and always will be shit. I will not tolerate your pathetic delusions no matter your excuse.
Stop defending trash and get some real standards.

He had the potential to be a good villain. SB squandered that potential. EW tapped into that potential but only at the final moment of the game.

Just imagine playing the inferior jap versions.
